This Clinique lipstick is my go-to red. It's actually the same shade as my lips, only darker. I love the shimmer and the staying power. It really lights up my face and is ALWAYS in my purse.

I just got this as a GWP and really like it. I am fair and warm toned. Pinks tend to clash with my skin tone. This is a nice, neutral rose with just enough brown tone to work for me. Although it is shimmery, the shimmer barely shows up - so it's not "frosty" or overwhelming. Overall, a nice day-to-day lipstick for work! Surprise find!

Got this as GWP. On me (brunette, brown eyes, olive skin) this is a nice low key weekend shade for when I don't want to look too made up - kind of a rosy coppery color with a little shimmer. A little bit of gloss layered over it turns it into a very flattering look. It goes with most everything.

After trying on various Clinique MLBB colors for my highly pigmented lips at the Duty Free, this seemed the most flattering color. I am a warm toned brunette and this is very similar to the natural color of my lips maybe a tone darker, plus the color looks gorgeous in the tube but strangely, my lips look better without this on. Dont really know, either the high coverage or the subtle pearliness, I find the result boring.

I just purchased this lipstick along with my HG sugared maple so I could get the gift with purchase. What a wonderful find. I'm a cool toned brunette with very pale skin. This is a my lips but better color for everyday. It's hard to explain a neutral pinkish brown. Very flattering and classic. Giving a perfect polished look. It's not as dramatic as I like for evening but it could work as well. It's a perfect apply right out of the tube color that wakes up my whole face. I like to pair it with cocoa rose lipliner for a little more drama and staying power, although it wears very nicely and fades evenly. LOVE IT!

Rose Spectrum turns to a deep wine shade on me, making for a very dramatic look on this FFF. I could carry this off for evening, but definitely not daytime. I received this shade in a GWP that included an eyeshadow duo in Strawberry Fudge -- a very good pairing. Next time I need it, I have an evening look ready to wear.

This is a good rosy red color for me (more red than rose) and the formulation is more intense than I usually wear, since it's a colour surge. I can put on a little and it's casual, or a lot and it's a formal lipstick look. So, it's versatile, too. It wears well, and gloss looks terrific over it. I am PPP with honey brown hair. My favorites are Baby Kiss, Sweet Honey, Sugared Maple, Beauty, and Ruby Glass, if that helps you with what looks good on me!

This could turn out to be a HG lipstick for me. I'm perpetually searching for the perfect rose shade, not too pinkish and not too brownish, and Rose Spectrum fits the bill. (For reference, I am a dark-haired PPP with slight redness in my skin). I'm also impressed by the Colour Surge formula, which I haven't tried in a while: this is a full-coverage lipstick, with impressive staying power, yet it's not at all drying. I wear one coat for a MLBB look, and a second application for a little more polish or drama. I can definitely see myself buying a replacement tube of this. Funny... Clinique was my first "grown-up," non-drugstore lipstick purchase, and I always come back to it.

I was surprised by how much I liked this lipstick. I also received it as gwp, and never would have thought to try it if not for that. It is a full coverage lipstick, and while it isn't shimmery, I do find it to have a little bit of a nice sheen to it. I personally don't find the formula or shade to be aging at all. I like to put a bit of clear gloss on top and find that it looks perfect this way. I have dark brown hair and eyes, and a fair cool complexion and love this shade on me. I prefer to wear this for a night out, rather than daytime though.

I received this lipstick as a GWP. It's a nice brownish rose color, but it's too dark and opaque for my taste. It makes my lips look middle-aged. However, I think my (middle-aged) mother might really like it, so I'll give it to her the next time I see her.
