I was looking for a cheap neutral eye palette and I found this one! I love all the colours except Barely Beige. I just think it is too light and shimmery for me. But other than that, I am in love with the other colours.

The colour payoff is alright. It's definitely not the best. I like to pair this over cream shadows. My favourite colour combination is Benefit's creaseless cream shadow in RSVP and then Coffee from the palette.

The one thing I dislike about the palette is definitely the packaging. It's flimsy and the plastic cover already came off twice for me.

I think it's the perfect cheap neutral eye palette. The other one would probably be Covergirl's Shimmering Sands trio. Check that one out too!

A decent eyeshadow quad that is full of nice neutrals. The pigmentation is decent. I like this quad for every day wear. The quality is ok. Nothing exceptional. I just do not find myself using it that much and not excited to use it.

Good for a natural look. By natural i mean VERY natural. It defines and can highlight but good for just adding definition to your eyes. I wouldn't buy it again only because I have so many neutrals. They are good, though.

Can I just say how much I LOVE THIS! These shadows are NOT matte. They have a little shimmer in them, but it looks matte enough when you swatch it. They stay put all day, and this is great for someone who just wants to contour their eyes. I just wish they had a little mirror so it's good for traveling!

Country woods is a verry nice eye shadow palette, that contains:a pale satin brown-bronze,a pale bronze,a pale satin nude,a pale matte caramel. It goes really well on the application,it last fairly long. For a more softer look! Love it!

I absolutely love this palette, it's such a great palette to take on the go for weekend trips or to just use everyday. Its also very versatile, I like to use the color "Mink" all over the lid as a quick eye opening/enhancing shade for a time pinch moment or for just a effortless everyday shade and sometimes i'd use the shade "coffee" in the crease as a nice transition color. For a nigh-time look i'd apply the darkest shade "Mocha" all over the lid with "Mink" in the center and "coffee" as a transition color again. I don't care too much for the highlight color since it's a pretty basic beige. I love using Wet n Wild's Brulee
I love this palette and "Mink" has become my all time HG eyeshadow out there and for the price compared to HE products you can't beat it. The packaging can be better as every purchase of CG quads the lid always breaks off.

This is my go-to eye shadow! The colors blend so well with my skin and look very natural. The color also lasts all day without having to be touched up. No complaints here!

I love the 2nd color (the shimmery peach champagne) but it looks very simliar to the 1st and 4th color. The 3rd white color is very chalky. Lasting power is alright with a primer, there are better eyeshadows for the price and I'm not sure why covergirl put out a quad with such similar colors!

It's no Shimmering Sands, but it's a nice nude eye palette for us thrifty shoppers nonetheless. My favorite shadow is the one second from left - it's very shimmery and looks nice alone, so it's good for those days when you don't really want to spend too much time on your face. The highlight color doesn't do much for me, as I have a penchant for obnoxiously sparkly browbones, but it's decent enough. The two remaining colors, presumably the crease colors, are nice as well, but a little too similar for my taste. I plan on using it up just so I get my four bucks worth, but I don't think I'll buy it again, just because there's other stuff I like better.

Incidentally, "Country Woods" is abbreviated as "CNT WDS" on the barcode, which means that I will forever refer to this as the Cunt Woods palette. It makes me laugh every time.

I loveee this!! So pretty whenever your in the mood to wear a really natural looking eye but it still looks put together and polished. I think it looks really great with brown eyes, it seems like it brings a twinkle to the eyes and you just can't look away. I use either coffee or mink (coffee if I want a more natural look/mink if I want a little more sheen) on the lid and mocha as the crease color and of course barely beige as the highlight. Barely beige is such an awesome highlight on the inner corners and brow bone, it doesn't matter how much I apply, it always looks natural. I really really recommend this quad. The color payoff is beautiful and I have already repurchased this and I will do it again.

I got this product as a gift for this last Christmas, as I had wanted a tri or quad of some neutral colors. I tried out the colors shortly after receiving it, & I absolutely love it. The colors are all really pretty, & quite pigmented, so they stay on for most of the day without fading (I don't use real primer, I just use lipgloss... I know, I'm cheap). The first color is like a "hot chocolate with milk in it" color-- it's a light brown, & it goes well with medium-colored skin tone. The second color is my favorite. It's a little bit darker than the first, but it's sparkly. It adds a little "pop" to your eyes. It's good to wear with a bright colored shirt, or when you want the main focus to be your outfit. The third is a really fair color, which I don't use much, just because it clashes with my skin tone. I do use it on the inner corners occasionally to blend two or three of them together. & the last color is a little more of the firewood color. I use it on my crease to add more depth to the look. Overall, I absolutely love this product, & I will definitely buy it again.

I like the natural colors in this quad and I like that it also has some shimmery ones too. For me it stayed on all day and didnt smudge, which I really like because I have oily eyelids that eyeshadow tends to smudge on. I will repurchase this most likely and recommend it.

Wow 4.1?! are you kidding me?!?

For me, this quad is chalky and highly deceptive with colours on my lid. It makes me eyelid looks DRY. DRY guys, dry! Even with primer.

So with this bad review, why the 2 stars?

I hate wasting makeup.

I found that the far shade on the right is great for... well my eyebrows.

It would be lovely for my eyebros indeed... but it isn't what the product is marketed as, thus the 2 star rating.

I love the neutral colors in this quadrant! They're so basic for everyday wear. I wish that they had atleast a darker Colorado for the crease, and 2 of the colors look exactly the same to me. They have a slights shimmer to them, but have a very smooth consistency. For the price, its definitely worth it!

Perfect for the everyday natural makeup look.
The shadows are very sheer which is why I only gave it 4 lippies. But other than that the packaging is fantastic - small and perfect for handbags!
The four colours compliment each other very well and I would definitely buy it again.

I ppurchased this quad way back when I first started my Makeup Collection and didnt realize the vast number of companies that still participate in Animal Testing and CG is among them. So i have changed my mind about them since and havent purchased from them but this quad is pretty great!
PRICE/AVAILABILITY- this quad can be found in many drugstores like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, as well as mass stores like Target and Walmart. CG can be readily found since it is a huge cosmetic company. This quad will cost you around $4-6 depending on your location, store you purchase as well as sales/discounts. I suggest looking for the cheapest price you can find (im a bargain hunter) Its worth about $4 in my mind but i wouldnt pay any more.
SHADE/FORMULA- now i dont know how some have names to the indvidual shadows in this quad since the packaging i have doesnt name them except the quad itself. All four shadows are great for everyday neutral looks. From left to right:
1st shade-COFFEE- this is the darkest of them all but its a medium toned milk chocolate with a slight shimmer finish to it. its not very dark but dark enough for definition. this does look like coffee with cream in it. i like my quads to have a really dark color but this is great for those who dont want something really dark. i like this color as well for daytime smoky looks.
2nd shade- this shade is just like the first one but a matte finish to it. this is milk chocolate mid tone brown that can be used in crease for definition. i love this color for crease work. great color, matte too which is hard to find in drugstore sometimes
3rd shade-MINK- this is probably my favorite of all 4 since its almost a brown toned taupey brown shade, its so unique and picks up different in lighting. They do sell this shade individually but is slightly different. not noticeable on lid. this is great for all over lid, crease work, just great mid toned taupe brown with a golden shimmer undertone to it. unique and beautiful
4th shade-LIGHT BEIGE- this is a great matte cream beige shade that works great as a brow bone highlight or a crease blending color, also great for a wash all over lid to powder the eye area. this is a great highlight and i love it for h/l brow area. can work for all skintones
The formula of these shadows is wonderful. they all are pigmented and apply & show up on lid as they look in the pan, they arent chalky or hard like some of the CG shadows. (CG is a hit or miss but this quad is a HIT) all four are soft and smooth so they apply & blend well wihout disappearing. great formula on this quad.
PACKAGING- these quads come in a hard plastic compact with a dark black backing and a see thru snap shut lid. dont rip off the stickers on the lid or back since the sticker will tell you product name & all other info. the also include a double ended sponge tip applicator for those who use those as well. the shadows are all the same size and in rectangular shaped pans. recieve a pretty decent amount of shadow for each that will take me awhile to get through them. this is the basic drugstore compact that is small and convient for travel or on the go makeup users. its sturdy enough too that it wont break easily.. but dont beat it up either.
this quad is a great neutral quad that im sure all will enjoy. its great for many different looks. they all may look the same in the pans but all have diff finishes so this is a great quad to have to use the individual shadows to add to many looks. pigmented and soft and pretty affordable. so if Animal testing is not a high concern of yours, you may just want to pick it up & give it a try if Covergirl would ever come to their senses and of their times and quit barbarically testing and harming animals, id purchase from them but not now. sorry

I purchased this little quad a while ago when I was going to a wedding and needed a quick neutral shadow (I also wasn't really into makeup so wanted something cheap) Now that I'm wearing a bit more makeup day to day I've started to use this quad a little bit more (read I'm getting on and trying to cling to my fading youth with the aid of makeup). The colours in the pallete are named Coffee, Mink, Barely Beige and Mocha.

Pros: A great range of neutral colours that would/should suit just about anybody. I find that I use the Barely Beige more than the others to keep my day to day makeup looking fairly natural. It goes on nicely (I use a brush) and if I'm inside all day it stays in place. I've worn mink a couple of times and it looks nice but neutral/natural as well. Overall if you are starting out can't be a bad quad to start with.

Cons: On a hot day like any makeup this won't really stay in place it'll mix with your mascara and you'll end up rubbing your eyes and reapplying a fair bit. The darker colours being Coffee and Mocha don't really stand out unless you really really cake it on.

The colours are really lovely I would reccommend this quad for beginners to learn and have fun with or those that need/want that nice natural look.

WOW! When I bought this I didnt think I would enjoy it as much a I do now. The shadows are super nuetral and you could wear them almost everywhere. This quad does contain my favorite highlight color of all time so it does get extra points with me. As for the other 3 shadows in the quad all of them could be used as an eyelid color, or if u wanted a super nuetral look use one of the outside colors on you lid, use the seconcd color from the left in ur crease and the lightest color in the quad as your highlight and you have a nuetral eye! Just remember a primer and these shadows are the bomb.com

I really love this quad. It is the perfect combination of natural shadow colors and having the four in one makes it easier for travel. The colors are great for a natural "no makeup" look, which is what I wear 95% of the time. Would recommend and re-purchase!
