I have this shade in both my A List and Little Black Dress palettes. Here's Looking at You is a shimmery medium gray-taupe with a hint of olive in it. It is rich-looking, highly-pigmented, and very long-lasting. Tarte makes some of the nicest eye shadows around. However, I am not sure that this shade look great on me (PPP with light brown eyes), so I don't tend to use it very often. It doesn't look bad - I just think some of tarte's other shades (Brown Derby, West Egg, Real McCoy) are a lot more flattering on me. Thus, I don't think I will repurchase this particular shade.

I have grown surprisingly attached to this e/s since I purchased it on a whim about a month or so ago. On me (PPP with blue-ish/green eyes, cool-neutral skin & light brown hair), this shadow shows up as a very flattering, shimmery cool taupe-gray. As with all Tarte e/s, the texture is silky perfection very much like Stila (only Stila provides substantially more product for the money). I do have to use a very light hand when applying, however, as it is pretty pigmented, but many shadows show up too dark on my fair skin anyway.

Update 11/2006: I haven't used this e/s in many months. It's so lovely, but just a bit too dark for my super-pale skin.

Bought this on a whim. I had never tried Tarte before, and I saw this and thought the color was beautiful! It looks like a dark grey green to me! LOVE it! Want to try bathtub gin, the real mccoy and Brown derby next.

Ahhhh, the first e/s I've ever hit pan on!!!! I loooove this so much if they ever d/c'd it I think I might die! It's my go to neutral that looks great with any blush/lip color (pinks or peaches, berries or reds!). I used to worship Stila Golightly -- this is a bit like that, but slightly more neutral. Golightly is more bronze. It has a more grey undertone that Golightly, and oh the texture! Silky, silky, silky! All of tarte's e/s have a great texture! This color makes my "Nordic" eyes (as someone called them - very light blue/grey/green) pop! I usually just wear this by itself on the lid sort of smoky for every day. Or I can do it on the outer corner/crease with stila cloud or kitten or whatever the heck I want! It goes with everything. Everyone must get this. It is a neutralish brown with *slight* grey undertones and golden shimmer. Soooo beautiful! And yes, did I mention that I HIT PAN! For a gal that worked for stila and got all the free eyeshadow I could ever have wanted - now that's love. Buy it now! ;)
