This product didn't plump my lips as much as I had hoped or thought it would but I like it because it dosen't hurt like other plumping masks do but it's kind of hard to apply and is verry cakey like you have iceing on your lips but I do enjoy having and useing this product every so often.

I actually really enjoy this product. I like the fact its a mask rather than a lipgloss treatment as i don't like the idea of stickiness. Spotted it in t.k.maxx for only 4 quid and liked the packaging, so thought i'd give it a try! Its really just a fun product rather than an amazing one, though it does give a slight effect to my lips and feels like a treat. Its quick to use, i just spread it on my lips before i'm going out somewhere where i need to look extra special and give myself a boost. I have full lips anyway but i think this product still gives them more of a sexy pert bitten lip look! As i don't use it often the tub will last me forever, so won't need to buy it again. Also the raspberry smell of this product is very pleasant. I think its just a really fun, kitsch and sweet product.

I wanted to love this product, but no :( The best it does is exfoliate my lips and give them a redder, more cherry kissed colour. I'm not even sure that it plumps my lips, and when I put something on, I'd like to see results. It might work a little, but I think I will look for another brand for some lip plumping goodyness.
The tub which looks tiny (40 gr/ 1.4 oz) will last you FOREVER, so it could be used as a gentle exfoliater on your lips.

I did see some results with this mask and I liked how it can be used in conjunction with a plumping gloss. I used the mask and then lip fusion or lip injection. The mask removes dead skin/exfoliates and plumped my lips up a little. However, the product dries out way too fast. I ordered it new from Sephora and noticed it already seemed sort of dry and had small cracks in it the first time I opened it. Since then it has dried out to the point I can not even use it (crumbly dry) and I think this must be a flaw in the product because I always put the lid on right after getting the product out. What a waste! I have tried adding a little water and mashing it around before applying it but that just made a greasy mess. The results I did see when it was usable were short lived, but I would expect that since this is working by irritating your lips and once removed the effects begin to wear off.

I received this product a couple of weeks ago and have been using it on a daily basis.

I don't use the spatula applicator in came with, instead I dip my finger into it and smear it all over my lips. It's much easer than trying to put it on with the applicator. I also leave it on for about 30 mins at a time as opposed to the suggested 3-5 minutes.
While I absolutely love the way it smells, think it's fun to use, and I love the fact that you get a BUNCH of it, it doesn't do much for me in the end. My lips will be a dark pretty pink and puffed up for about 5 minutes and that's it. I don't know how on earth some people here got the effect to last for hours because the very very most I can get out of it is 10 minutes and that's if I'm lucky.

Like the other Too Faced plumping products, it doesn't do much for me.

I was really hoping for much better things with this product. If nothing but to maybe soften them. I like to give everything a fair chance but after the 4th time with no effect at all, i have given up on it. I'm not a fan of lip stains and tend to use neutral coloured gloss on my lips so unless i'm using lipstick, i don't like colour. This just made them really red, which made them look awful!
Anyway, a slight tingling, no moisturising effect and no plumping whatsoever. I still love pout glosses for that effect.

Not anything special. Works to remove dried skin from lips, but that's about all. Lip injection works better for plump.

I'm not gonna say this is the *best* on the market because I think all lip plumpers are marginally effective (I tried Lip Fusion, DuWop, Sugar, Estee Lauder & Too Faced Extreme), but in terms of instant gratification it impresses me. I put it on anywhere from 5 minutes or longer while I get ready to go out and definitely get plump, red lips. The pain factor was nonexistent in my opinion. Of course, the results last an hour at best. EDIT* This has stopped working on me. I use it and nothing happens, which is weird because when I first bought it I did get some results. Save your money.

I have to admit this definitely made my lips plump and rosy. The problem is it doesn't last very long and is a ridiculous pain in the butt to put on. If it were something you could reapply, I would have kept it. It is like smearing toothpaste all over your lips then having to wait around for 15 minutes. Tastes yucky and chalky and you have to be extremely precise or you will look like your lips are chapped.

I purchased this with a kit at Sephora called Lip Injection . At first when I use this I thought it didn't produce any results so I tried again and nothing!! But today for the first time I exfoliated my lips with a lip scrub and then put the lip mask on for 5 minutes. I saw results bigger pouter lips. After I take the lip mask off I put on Lip Injection Extreme lip gloss and I have fuller lips:D

UPDATE: this did nothing for my lips.

When I went to buy this a Too Faced Rep was at the store and told me to put it on every morning after I woke up and at night before I went to bed.... I'm still confused why she told me this, so I was under the impression that this was more of a treatment then just a 3 hour long plump. It doesn't even plump my lips up that much compared to the lip injection gloss and it dried my lips out. It did make them really red but I'm not sure if thats just from the rubbing to get the product off.

I live in the middle of Canada and don't have acess to a lot of the American products that are reviewed. As I finally got to Vegas in December, based on all the reviews of the Lip Plumping products, I decided on the "Too Faced" line. Since they had their Christmas packages out, I decided to buy the "Lip Plumping Collection" package since it seemed like such a good deal.

I will review the Mask here:

I liked the Mask, but didn't find it that effective or useful. It was in a small, round jar, so that made getting it out a challenge (I don't like getting stuff under my nails, so had to find a spatula). It is a thick, cute pink texture. It didn't tingle very much at all. It doesn't have any exfolating particles in it like I thought it might.
I wonder if it would help if you left it on overnight?

As in my Extreme review, I have read that using the Extreme & the Mask together over an extended period of time, will produce the best, lasting results. I have yet to try that. I am kind of using them sporatically when I think of it.

This was part of the Extreme Plumping Collection from Sephora that DH got me for xmas. I agree with previous reviewers who say the 3-5 min. suggested is not long enough. The first time I used it according to directions, I was disappointed, because not much happened other than a little drying. Leaving it on for 10 min. or so really made a difference, although I still find it a little drying. I would not repurchase.

I just recently got this from Sephora in the Lip Injection kit, with all those other glosses... That night, I was leaving in a hurry for dinner, and I just sort of dipped my lip brush into this stuff, and I hadn't read any of the instructions before hand... BAD idea, lol. I had anticipated it on being a gloss, mostly because my mind was on a million other things and I was trying to leave in a hurry... So, read the instructions on this stuff before you apply. Heh, now that I DO know how to use this... I like it, it actually softend my lips, and made they silky. However, it didn't really plump them, so I was a little dissapointed with that. I think what I'm going to do, though, is put it on for a longer time period, and see if anything happens. And, if not, oh well, I still like it because it really conditions my lips... More than likely because of its jojoba oil properties. UPDATE 12/17/06: Leave this on for about 20-30 minutes, and you'll definitly have plumpy lips. I sure did, at least. I'm glad this stuff wasn't a total waste! Giving it another lip point. Still one off for the claim of results in 3 mins on the box, though.

well..

where do i begin ? I've tried many lip plumpers... Lipfusion, P wexler, Lip Venom....victoria's secret brand... I've tried many others.

This is the ONLY brand that I have found that actually does something to ur lips !
Im sick and tired of reading through these reviews left by other people saying 'oh i can tolerate so much pain in yet this is painful' uhm, yeah right... have you ever gotten your upper lip or eyebrows waxed or teezed ???? well in all honesty, if u have enough pain to tolerate that then this should be a breeze...
seriously please dont not try it out b/c someone said 'too painful' and 'pain is beauty' where has that saying gone...

no it really isnt THAT painful as people say it is...
so with that being said. you can't expect a miracle... dont expect to wake up to permanent angelina jolie lips... b/c if ur expecting a miracle then it wont happen if you're realistic and realize all of this then i think you would be pelasant surprised with the mask along with the serum and injection.. it works really well ! I recommend it... I"m not a very easy grader ( check my past reviews) with grading things.. so if I grade this high then it must work.

This is a decent lip plumper. It does plump the lips but for some reason every once in a while it will irritate the area around my mouth. Only sometimes though. My lips are pretty full on their own, but this adds a decent amount of volume. My aunt could tell I did something. She asked what I did to my lips and I had to go put some on her. She loved it also. I recommend it unless you are sensitive.

I'm an esthetician and I use the mask on my clients lips while they have their face mask on. So it gets left on for about 15 min. NOT the 3-5 they suggest. My clients love the way their lips look & feel after. I would say at least a third of them then buy it as they really love the way their lips come out. I do while moisturizing their skin apply the Kinerase Lip Treatment on and around their lips. I then put on at the very end the Cover FX Clear Lip Treatment. They all walk out with fuller, hydrated and a very natural color in their lips!
