Lavendar Sky is a stunning shade of purple in my collection! It's a light to medium lavendar shade with a heavy pink/lilac undertone. The only thing that kept this from getting a 5, is that it's a veluxe pearl, but doesn't carry the same stellar pigmenation that most VP's do. Incredibly pretty however, and very unique in my stash and one that looks amazing paired with darker purple/plums and equally pretty with navy or charcoal. This definitely is flattering for my brown eyes!!

This is easily my favorite e/s! It goes on very sheer but has a great texture and beautiful pinky-lavender color to it. Looks fabulous on my fair skin and because it's on the sheer side, I usually layer it over a more neutral shade. People have stopped me in the mall while I'm wearing this to say they love my eye makeup and ask what e/s I'm wearing! I hope MAC brings it back, but til then I get mine at the cosmetics company store. Took off 1 lippie because the shade is not for everyone, but for me it's PERFECT.

This goes on your lids way different looking than the in the pot color. It ends up a pastel easter bunny pale toned brightly pigmented pink. Not blue like a lavendar, just easter bunny pink with a sheen. It's wonderful. A pleasant surprise, I wasn't expecting much from the in the pan look of a muted pinky grey laveder. Great sheen and a great pink eyeshadow!

Lavender Sky is a medium violet/pink with subtle iridescence. While I loved the color, I was disappointed with its pigmentation as an e/s. However, I tried it as a blush and was very pleased with the results (though it might be too cool-toned for most to pull off).

I recently purchased Lavender Sky from a MUA member, and I'm really glad I did. It's a beautiful pinky-lavender and it goes on very well. I'd hesistate to call this colour subtle, but it's not overpoweringly bold. I absolutely adore this shade.

I hope MAC brings it back...I love this shadow and have recently started pairing it with waternymph and aquavert and sea myth from the lure collection. My mac was out of mancatcher and the MAC MA suggested using Lavender Sky if I had it available and said she found it to be better than mancatcher, which I still havent tried but prob wont bother since I have this. Awesome color!

Lavender sky is the most beautiful shade of purple i ever had!! I always have the problem that at first, i kinda hate the colour and hard to find the combination. But, lavender sky is perfectly pretty matching with iris print. The shade is lighter purpler and very soft. I hope Mac will repromote it.

So true what Libellule below wrote. I love Veluxe Pearl shadows but was a little suprised by this one. It's not what I expected but is still really pretty. Kind of a sheer irridescant shadow. It's purple with hints of pink instead of blue like most lavender shadows. I don't reach for it but it's nice anyway.

Warm violet-pink. This color tend to be vibrant but got weak staying power. First aplied it looks rather purple then pink, but a few hours later it looks pink and the shimmer gives the illusion my lids are wet. You've guess, a beautifull crying look in all its glory.

Lavender Sky is so hard to describe. It's a medium purple with pink iridescence. Think about a darker Lovely Lily, a mix between Violet and Lovely Lily. Ok, it's not your usual Veluxe Pearl, it's more like a Frost.. It's not soft, it's not *very* metallic, but I like it a lot. You'll be disapointed if you buy Lavender Sky just because you love Veluxe Pearl, it doesn't feel and look like a VP. If it's not enough pigmented for you, try it with the water based Mixing Medium.

Lavender is my favorite color and I have so many lavender shadows that I can't count. So do I really need one more? Yes I do! because this is not your usual blue toned lavender, it has very obvious pink undertones and shows up pink/lavender-ish on my lids. I paired it with Overgrown (very unusual combination of green and lavender) and a dark navy blue shadow from Lancome (smudged as eyeliner) and the whole ensemble looked beautiful.

This color is gorgeous. I was expecting a lot less considering the mixed reviews it has received, but Lavender Sky completely exceeded my expectations!

Lavender Sky is a blue-toned, lavender color. I don't consider it light enough to describe as "light lavender"- Not in the pot and not on my eyelids either. It's just about what I'd describe as medium deep lavender.

I thought this eye shadow blended beautifully. Like most (possibly all) MAC shadows, it lasted all day over the thinnest layer of Paint- I used Mauvism. In the picture below I also used the tiniest bit of Creme de Violet, but only on my very outer "v". On my lids you're seeing 97% Lavender Sky (over Mauvism).

See why I'm so surprised people are complaining about color pay off?! Perhaps it depends on the wearer's individual coloration. I'm NC35 for reference.

Lavender Sky is a very nice blue toned soft violet released with the Culturebloom collection. The collection overall was too warm for me but I did pick up this color (along with Botanical) from my last visit to MAC. Lavendars and lilacs wakes up my eyes so I like wearing these colors as a washes. Lavender Sky fills that role nicely.

Lavender Sky is a veluxe pearl finish but it looks more satin on the lid. It's sheeny, not shimmery like most VPs. Application is easy, I don't get too much or too little pigment when I swipe it. Blendability is still not as good as other brands, MAC in general doesn't have great blendability in their e/s so I wasn't expecting a lot from Lavender Sky. I've been wearing this color as a lid wash with Botanical in the crease. The result is a fresh pretty look, not loud or bright. This color is such a natural enhancer or "wakener" for my brown eyes that I don't need eyeliner, just curl the lashes and go!

If you're a lover of lavendars, purples, and violets, then you would like this eye shadow. Again, it's a blue toned lavendar, no pink on my GA LSF 5.5 Chanel Beige skintone. Not a must have but not a bad addition either.

This is my favorit shadow from the CultureBloom 2006 LE collection. It is an unusual shade of lavender pink, with enough brightess to give it some impact. It has the same depth of color as Swish, but is more purple. I compared to my sizable collection of purples and found the closest color match was Rivera Rose from two years ago, however that color has silver sparkles and is more red. Lavendar Sky is nothing like Hepcat which is darker and far more red and it is no where near as blue as the Lavendah! or the current Digit. I don't have Stars N Rockets, so I can't compare it to that. Anyway, I have green eyes, and am a Neutral to Cool PPP and it works great as a wash on my eyelid or built up in the crease. I took a lippie of because I recognize that this color is probably not going to work well on most warm toned gals and won't read at all on darker skin tones. But if you a lighter cool or neutral complextion, check this color out because it is very unique.

Lavender Sky is a eyeshadow from the CultureBloom collection released February 2006. Its limited edition so only available in flip top black pot. Retails for $13.50. I was so excited about this collection but the lack of pigment in the shadows is super disappointing. Lavender sky is a deep pink with this soft irridescence to it with a violet hint to it. ITs much softer than it appears in the pot but still not a pigmented as I would prefer. I wear this on the lid and crease but I was very disappointed with this color and formula.

I collect purples, and I just swapped away stars n rockets because I couldnt justify keeping it when I use hepcat more often. Lavender Sky does remind me of stars n rockets, but less red, and I think less complex. It's a little wimpy if you ask me. The colour pay off isnt all that and you have to build the colour up, which it has more pink that I thought it would. It's trying to be a pastel, really and I havent been able to get the colour of the actual pan. I wore it over bare canvas paint today and blendability was fine and all - *edit* I dont have to try and build color (it doesnt build very well) when I use this over UDPP. It's still showing up pinker than it does in the pan. for reference, i'm cool/neutral toned PPP with green eyes.

My favorite from the Culturebloom collection. I have heard people comapre this to Stars n' Rockets and while it is similar, it's different (and better) enough in my opinion to justify buying. S n' R is a little too pink for me (NC15), but Lavender Sky is gorgeous with my dark brown eyes. MAC gives an accurate description of a bright lavender with pearl, though I might use the word intense rather than bright because bright makes me think of a Creme de Violet kind of pinkish-lavender (which this is not). This is on the cool side, but neutral enough that I think it would work well for cool and warm toned girls. Great as a lid color and as an accent when I'm going for a bright look. I will be buying a backup of this since it is LE.
