I love this colour, it is DC but I managed to track one down that was brand new. It is a very soft pastel yellow that I imagine would look great anyone. Its very well pigment as well. This is a great eyeshadows to wash over the lid and blend into other colours.

Another LE shadow from MAC .. and while this is pretty .. I'm sure at some point, this will come around again, in another collection, just renamed. It's not completely unique, but it is super pretty. Spring Up is a pale buttery yellow shade with a slight shimmer that isn't overly frosty. It's versatile, wears well, and has decent pigmentation. Is it a must have? not necessarily ..but is it worth having if you can get it .. absolutely!!

Yuck. I was expecting something so different here. I guess I was expecting more of a wearable color...
To me, this goes on chalky, uneven, and leaves behind an unappealing color. It's too yellow for a highlight color, but not yellow enough for a lid color, IMO.

Skin Type: Normal to dry, tans easily, rarely breaks out. Skintone: LLL (olive skin tone) Haircolor: Changes frequently Right now, soft golden brown with glints of red and brown. Eye Color: Espresso brown.
I RIS this one too. It is a nice yellow color that doesn’t turn out like an Easter egg yellow. It is a soft lemon yellow w/ glints of gold that isn’t overpowering. It makes a great highlighter and goes with taupes, greens, browns, purples, blues. Practically every color! With a good eyeshadow base it stays on all day without it looking too frosty or glittery. Just a nice soft pearly sheen. Thanks MAC for another rare color!

I absolutely LOVE this color. I thought I had missed my chance at it since it came out in a February collection, but when I asked a MAC artist in July they still had a couple! Hurrah for me! This is a light, shimmery yellow with a tinge of gold. Most yellows tend to go green or rusty or cream-colored, but this is a pure-pollen color that looks really soft and beautiful on the eye. The name is really appropriate, because it will definitely remind you of spring flowers and it's a very uppity shade!

I do have to pack it on a little bit, but it goes on smooth, not chalky at all. I wear it all over the lid with a little pink above it. PERFECT! There is no other color close to this in MAC's permanent collection, and I can't think of a similar color in another line either. Get it while you can =)

reminds me of a cross between Unorthodox and Pollen. Actually its pretty darn close to Casa Blanca now that i think about it. If you are into butter yellow shadows with some shimmer you will like this. Looks very nice with the Culturebloom line as a highlight. I like it with LoveBud e/s.

Spring Up is the light yellow shade I've been looking for a while! It's a shimmery baby yellow, slightly white-ish, and has some gold sheen as well. Very luminous and glowy! I didn't think I'd like this color at first, but I'm glad I finally bought it. :-) A good staple!

Spring Up is versatile and can be used as an highlighter, as an overall wash, or paired with different shades of green, bronze, brown, etc. Creates gorgeous combos!

The texture is slightly chalky and tends to crumble a bit, but other than that, this is an excellent product. I would purchase it again.

Different color than MAC has in it's staple collection. I like it on my NC15-20 PPP skin because it's not too 'golden' and is a wonderful springy pollen color. Good as a wash and goes great with Violet pigment or stars n rockets.

I had been looking for a shimmery pale yellow eye shadow for several months so when Spring Up came out, I purchased it immediately. It's exactly what I was hoping for-- less chalky than Unorthodox and less golden than Ricepaper. It's also really versatile; I've been wearing it with greens, purples, and oranges.

Me: NC 15-20, red hair, brown eyes
Product Description: Sheer shimmer pale yellow.
I like this color, I really do. I almost passed on it, but I'm glad I purchased it. Being so pale, it's hard for me to find highlight colors besides white, so I'm digging this so far. I think it's very versatile, and I will be able to use it in lots of combos.

I'm on the fence on this color. I like the fact that it is quite yellow, a color that MAC rarely does, but would have like to have seen more color impact. This is a light lemon yellow which a bit of frost and a tendency towards chalkiness when packed on. It is more yellow and less sparkly and much better coverage then last year's Pollen. It is more yellow that that long ago LE Swinging, which so remains my favorit light yellow but that color was more matte and less yellow but had much better coverage. It blends nicely with the other Culturebloom colors, especially Love-Bud, but I'm leaning towards returning it.

Spring Up is a eyeshadow from the CultureBloom collection released February 2006. Its limited edition so only available in flip top black pot. Retails for $13.50. I was so excited about this collection but the lack of pigment in the shadows is super disappointing. Spring Up is a light pastel yellow with no pigment at all. Would have been a pretty shade but doesnt show up. Hugely disappointed.

I changed my mind about Spring Up after using it for a little while. At first, I thought it was pretty useless and gave it a two, but after considerable experimentation, I've found that it is very a very workable shade in a number of contexts. It does require a bit of layering to get a decent color on my NW 15 skin, but it is worth the effort. Too bad it's LE as I could see myself making this a staple.

I didn't think I'd like this color but am glad I tried it at my MAC store. I'm NC15 with brown eyes. MAC's description of a 'light neutral yellow with frost' is pretty accurate, though I would say it's more a shimmer than frost (which implies cool tones to me). Great highlighting color, but also good overall color when I don't feel like being creative with multiple shadows. While it is LE and I tend to buy back-ups of LE items that I love, I don't love thie enough to buy more than the one I already have. Not that it isn't gorgeous, because it is. It's just not unique enough that I wouldn't be able to find something comparable when/if I run out.

I usually like MAC e/s and I own lots of them, but Spring Up e/s is extremely chalky and I do not recommend it at all. This is LE with the Culturebloom Collection.

My new FAVORITE eyeshadow!!! Worth every penny that I splurged to win it on ebay (just had to have it when I saw those pics on spektra)!! This is exactly what I was looking for, a beautiful, shimmering eyeshadow to make the yellow in my eyes stand out. It does it's job well; my eyes reflect the yellow so it stands out more. This is such an eye-brightening color!! A very wearable light, shimmering yellow. I will try to stock up because I know this will be LE as well. This is a frost, but application feels like velvet if that make any sense. Simply superb MAC quality as always!! LOVE this!! I am recommending this and will repurchase!!
