Pros:
Pretty color
Applies easily and evenly
Stays on long
Cons:
Price
The only complaint I ever have about Jane Iredale is the price. Other than that I love this blush. It matches my skin tone and goes well with the Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base that I have. The exact one I have is the Sheer Honey. I highly recommend Jade Iredale.

Sheer Honey - just started using, and this is one of those blushes I will use daily. The quality of these blushes are superb. Somehow, they are the easiest to apply as lightly as wanted, and to layer. Sheer Honey has a sheer russet quality on - a healthy glow look. I am 65, with light warm skin, and have to be very careful to achieve a natural look.
I had once used up a Jane Iredale blush in the pinky- wine Dubonnet shade - it looked as if it should be too cool, but also blended into the skin naturally. My only problem - these are expensive blushes! But if you find your shade, you won't be throwing them out a couple of years down the road because you never wore them.

Overall this is the only Jane Iredale product I am not really sold on so far. I purchased it in Tawny. It did not irritate my skin or cause breakouts, but it also did not have much color payoff. I could apply a lot and it really didn't look any different from just powder even though I am really fair. I may try it in another color in the future since I may have just needed a darker color or maybe just got a bad batch.

I have this is golden apricot. The color has more pinkish warm tone in it than you may expect. Not quite as golden as i expected, but still a nice warm orange-pink shade. It is very pigmented which is nice, but tends to break or flake when used, which is frustrating. I like the natural ingredients instead of chemicals, so it may be worth it. One last negative is the frosted cover. It looks cheap. I wish it was a standard cleat plastic cover.

I have this blush in flushed and I love it!
It's a presed blush so it's not as messy as loose mineral powder blushes and the application is quick and easy.
These blushes look natural on the skin and don't make you look like a clown. Another pro is that they last for hours. I like the fact that these blushes are mineral because I think that mineral make up is better for the skin. Escpecially if you have problems with oilyness and breakouts like me.
I have to take one lippie of for the price again but as soon as I can afford it I will buy this blush in another colour as well.

The only blush that doesn't break me out. I used NARS for years, never realizing that it was one of the main culprits behind my skin issues. Since I've switched to this one, my skin has remained clear and smooth. This alone makes it well worth the cost.

This is the most expensive blush I have ever used and also the best. I love the sheer honey as well as the bronze - I am fair so I only have to apply the sheer honey with one light brush stroke for a lovely auburn color. The bronze is a little more brown although not as much as a bronzing powder - so the color is a brownish pink and takes two brush strokes to look good on my pale face. It has a lovely brown/rose tinge that's subtler than the sheer honey. And it all comes in a beautiful case. Some days all I wear is tinted sunscreen and this blush and still look great!!

This is for Barely Rose. While this is similar, I find this is more neutral than EL Plum blush, (not as blue and softer in color.) It's pretty, sort of soft in tone, but nicely pigmented (not over the top.) I am allergic to most blushes, mostly the shimmer (makes my ear close) and other ingredients can give me hay fever symptoms. I was hoping this would be my answer, but alas, my ear had issues and I did feel a bit affected by this. It's a pretty color and nice for fairer individuals who are looking for something that isn't too blue, too brown, too orange - I think it has a nice balance of color. It's ridiculously priced, I can appreciate that you don't need much, but still, $26 for a blush the size of an eye shadow, is silly. I have the old Sonia Kashuk (rectangular compact) blush and this was almost identical in color, just a touch more pink.

I bought this in Dubonnet, a cool toned medium pink colour without any sparkle. I have very light skin and this is neither too light nor too dark. It gives me a very natural flush that I was searching for. The best part is that this product doesn't clog my pores or irritate my skin. It blends easily. I use a duo fibre brush because it picks up a small amount of product, and that's all I need. Lovely blush, and I'd like to purchase it in a tan colour as well to use as a bronzer. Despite the 32$ CAN price tag, I will repurchase because this is the only blush that has fully agreed with my skin.
UPDATE: I ran out of this, used it until the very last bit. I then ordered another, as well as the colour Bronzer. I now use both together. They work perfectly to sculpt my cheeks, I love them. Can't imagine my face without them.. :)

I just got this blush 50% off at Sitamaa Toronto, I would not normally buy it at this price but I got the undereye concealer and love it and with the price slashed this is a great deal! I got it in parfait which is a very light pink. I was worried , as it is so light, that it would not be visible on my very fair skin, but it looks wonderful, like my natural flushing. In fact I love it so much I plan to go back to the shop and get another JI blush, maybe a peach, apricot this time, I'm thinking sheer honey or golden apricot, I'll report later when I get back!

I use the Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Blush in Golden Apricot and I love the sparkles. It's so pretty to look at and looks so natural on the skin, plus JI is known to be the "skin care makeup line" so the blush is good for my skin anyways, how cool is that?
Sometimes I use too much product on my cheeks and people start asking me why I am so red. That is probably because I started using the product in the winter and I tend to look much more pale as compared to the rest of the year. Other than that the product provides a natural finish and the sparkles are so subtle yet noticeable, it's so fun to wear.
This blush retails for $32 CDN at Spa Boutique spaboutique.ca and I find that quite expensive for a blush. I haven't tried the NARS orgasm yet which is by far the most raved about blush in 2010 which is quite similar to the JI golden apricot anyways. The only difference in my opinion is that on cosmetics database cosmeticsdatabase.com NARS is a makeup line that contains lots of harsh chemicals whereas JI does not, check for yourself!
After I started using this, it is the only blush I have btw, and since it is so versatile I won't need another until I run out which won't be a while since I only use a bit every day. I will definitely recommend checking out the JI line of purepressed blushes and get matched for the shade that works for your skin tone!

I love this blush, I have it in Golden Apricot. It has such a pretty shimmer to it, but not overdone. I do however, feel the blush comes in a very little compact. The color is so concentrated though, a little swipe of blush is all you need, so it lasts a long time. It is very expensive though! I paid $26 for this little blush compact, not sure if it's worth purchasing again. We will see!

I love this blush. I use the Mocha shade. It has a natural color that is not too dark for my very light skin. Staying power is great.

I use Cotton Candy blush by Jane Iredale. I love this blush, I used Nars exclusively before but noticed I sometimes broke out where I applied it so I decided to switch to Jane Iredale. The color is amazing, I apply it with a Shu Uemura #17 brush and it diffuses into the most natural flush with just a little sparkle from the gold dust in the formula. It highlights my cheeks perfectly without being ostentatious. I've had no skin irritation like with the Nars. I like it so much I bought three. It is great for your skin and performs as well as high end department brands if not better.

The blush comes in what I feel like is a pretty small container - the size of an eyeshadow. I have it in Whisper and Sheer Honey. Whisper is an "ok" color - I don't think it shows up that well. But I absolutely LOVE Sheer Honey. It's darker and isn't shimmery, so works great as a bronzer/blush combination.

When I got my first Jane Iredale (JI) Blush, I hated it! It had absolutely no staying power at all on me, but then I found out how to make this last longer. I apply my JI Purepressed Base, then apply JI Blush, then spritz my flocked sponge with JI Balance Spray and gentle pat over my face to set everything. This helps with the staying power immensely. It is a quite pigmented blush and shades like Whisper, Golden Apricot, and Cotton Candy do have shimmer, but if you don't want the shimmer, just tap your brush or blow on your brush and that will take away most of the shimmer.
I'm neutral to warm (I wear Radiance in the Purepressed Base, NC15-20 in MAC) and my favorite JI blushes are: Whisper, Copper Wind, Cotton Candy, Dubonnet, and Barely Rose.

I used Barely Rose a couple years ago and it was nice, but Cotton Candy is my favorite blush everrrr. It's a soft nude-y pink with shimmer, and I swear it changes the way my whole face looks. I used to not wear blush because it made me self conscious, but this gives such a perfect rosy flush on pale skin. It gives me that "baby doll" appearance.
The shimmer blends in and does not show up on me in a glittery way; it just highlights my cheekbones and makes my face look sculpted, but I can't see any glittery particles. It lasts all day and goes on perfectly even with my cheap synthetic brush, so there's no blending out uneven areas. The packaging is gorgeous. I love the little gold case with the frosted lid.
The first time I wore this, I got compliments that I looked "so beautiful today" and was asked if I had "done anything different." This is now one of my must-have, HG makeup items.

I decided to try these blushes because I very sensitive skin that will break out and become irritated easily. While I loved Nars Deep Throat, I needed to find something that would be gentler on my skin. Since summer is coming soon, I decided to go with the warmer shades Dubonnet (for the apples of my cheeks) and Sheer Honey (for sculpting and bronzing). The blushes are VERY pigmented and although the containers are small, I think they will last for at least a year as long as you use a light hand. A very light tap with my brush (no swirling as that would pick up WAY too much product) is enough. I like the Sheer Honey as it is a good matte bronzing shade for fair skin without being too obvious (and there are none of those horrible orange undertones). The Dubonnet, although many PPP have recommended this shade, seems a little too dark for my fair, neutral skin. I do find I need to buff out the color a bit with my handi brush to keep the color from being too strong, but I will continue to wear it, although next time I may try Whisper or Barely Rose for my lighter shade. Overall, very good quality and blendable blushes.
