I got a 2ml bottle of this for as part of a Christmas present a couple of years ago. I hadn't put oil on my skin since I was 18 and tried using coconut oil as a moisturiser - disaster!
Anyway I tried this and loved it! My skin had never felt so soft. I had to keep touching my face during the day cause it felt so nice! When it ran out I went to repurchase it and saw the price, I the looked at the ingredients list - vegetable oils that can be bought individually for a fraction of the price of this. I'm so glad I got this product as it introduced me to using oils as a serum which I have been doing ever since and I get the same result from my homemade blend as I did from this lovely but over priced product.

This oil made me break out terribly. Not just little spots but big fat white-headed pimples. I really wanted to love it but can't. Also beware NOT to use it around the eye area since it dries out your skin - I asked a beauty consultant at Liz Earle.

This product makes my skin looks radiant and supple. I have oily skin however when I put this on my oily skin seems to reduced. The sales lady at John Lewis told me to use it everynight as part of my beauty routine in order to re-balance the skin condition. It sounds odd at first to put oil on oily face but it does help to reduced the oiliness. Its quiet expensive though £40.42 for 28ml but I think its money well spent..i dont think there is any other skin product that Im satisfied with. Even Liz earl hot cloth cleanse and polish does NOT impress me and that says a lot about this Superskin concentrate.
P/s: hot cloth cleanse and polish makes my skin break and left me with red patches and flaky skin for the first few weeks. However i dont want to waste my money so i decided to keep on using it but only during the night (i clean my face in the morning with clerasil in order to keep the acne at bay) and also I only use half a pump of the hot polish instead of full pump because i feel that a full pump is just too much cocoa butter for my oily acne prone skin.

I love this as a nighttime treatment, the oil makes my dry skin really soft and I feel it does help keep the lines at bay. The only thing that puts me off is the price as I use a lot of it each night!

I have very oily skin, I'm 35 and suffering from hormonal acne and clogged pores. Now the good news, this stuff is a godsend. Not only does it give my skin a bloom making it look fresher and more toned but it is helping sort out my main issues: namely the breakouts and congestion. It is also helping to heal the scars from the spots (not miraculously but gently). The blocked pores are noticeably decreasing (my forehead is now clear) and the spots are also fewer in number; they won't go completely, my issues are hormonal but I will try everything I can to lessen the impact and damage and this Superskin Concentrate has been the most successful, natural and gentle way of doing this. Also on the plus side it has started to lessen the look of some of my fine lines (that 11 between the brows, the line down from nose to lips from smiling LOL and around my eyes - yes you can use this around the eyes)!! I think this was originally targeted at mature or dry skins due to its nourishing and plumping benefits but many customers with oily/combination skin tones have found it helps to balance the skin more effectively. If like me you have oily skin and some early anti-ageing issues then this is a perfect way to deal with both concerns without compromising. Every night I use my Cleanse and Polish, Instant Boost Tonic and then roll on this precious blend of oils and smooth in, inhaling the beautiful aroma. It is a calming, relaxing treat before bedtime and I refuse to be without this product! I am going to upgrade from the 10ml rollerball (UK RRP £17.25) to the 28ml bottle (UK RRP £35.50) as soon as it runs out.
Ingredients include: Argan Oil, Avocado Oil, Chamomile, Hazlenut Oil, Lavender Oil, Neroli Oil, Rosehip Oil and Natural Source Vitamin E.
It contains no preservatives.

Great product! i have combination.acne prone skin, tironically if i use this before bed i wake up with beutiful matte ski which stays for quite a while, i have a minimal oil on my skin when i come back from skool, and its not really noticable either. Also this is great for helping clear up acne scars as i used this for just over a week and my ance scars have almost disappeared! ( i was using a diferent treatment for about a week before using this). Also my mum is using this to treat this brown spots that have developed on her face and they also have signifcatly gone down. Great product will definatelt rebuy! must try for all skin types espically oily skin.

This is a great product at a reasonable price - £16.95 for 10ml if ordered off the Liz Earle website, which should last you quite a long time.
I found that night creams were sitting on my skin, so it looked greasy when i woke and generally making my combination skin more oily.
This oil is so light and easily absorbed, and as others have mentioned, it feels luxurious and calming when you massage it in in upwards and outwards sweeping motions as sugggested - kind of like a mini-facial massage. The smell is also pleasant.
Most importantly, the results. I wake up, my skin looks smooth, soft and balanced with no excess oil, and one or two blemishes even seem reduced.
This product really delivers - along with the eye cream and cleanse and polish. Highly recommended.

This is a very good oil, with many benefits for problem skin(has lavander essential oil), but I don't recommend buying the 2ml size as it is very difficult to get the product out of the little glass tube. It is also very expensive. The combination of oils(rosehips - exfoliating, hence regenerating, argan - regenerating, avocado and borage -hydrating and reparing, hazelnut - toning and astringent) is very good for combination skin or mature skin and the rosehip oil makes for a very easily absorbed and non greasy product. I plan to make my own rather then paying this price, but if you don't have the time or inclination for homemade products then go for it!

I got this as sample when I purchased other products from Liz Earle (you always get free samples, great customer service) and I love it, my skin feels so nourished and looks amazing when wake up the next day! Will msot definately be purchasing when I have used up this sample. I used to use estee lauder advanced night repair, but this is a much nicer product, gorgeous smell and all natural ingredients, plus it's about £10 cheaper! Result!

I use this as night, and when I wake up in the morning, I actually look somewhat presentable. It gives my face an amazing glow and actually puts color into my normally pallid cheeks. It smells *gorgeous* too.
FYI: I bought some samples of the superpricey Z. Bigatti Goodnight cream on ebay, and it's got NOTHING on my Superskin Concentrate. Seriously. Save yourself a few hundred dollars and get this instead!

This product used to be called Superbalm Concentrate and its name has since been altered to Superskin Concentrate. It, along with Liz Earle's other products, has helped to significantly improve the condition of my oily and spot prone skin. Please do see my other reviews of her phenomenal skincare products.
I was initially very dubious and reluctant about using an oil on my already oily skin -- believe me, my skin needs absolutely no help in this department! Superskin Concentrate comes in a variety of forms -- a teeny tube (similar in size to a skinny glass perfume sample) which is perfect for popping into a handbag, a larger lip balm-sized 10mL rollerball tube (I'd use this for travel) and a 28mL frosted glass pump jar -- I have all three versions as I love this product immensely. I use it only at night after cleansing and toning with Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish and Instant Boost Skin Tonic, dispensing one pump, applying it to my skin, and massaging it in an upwards and outwards motion across my face and cheekbones. I finish by running my palms over my neck and decolletage to use up any excess product. The oil, combined with the mini facial massage, feels deeply comforting. Detailed instructions on how to apply the product to the skin may be found in the box that comes with the product.
This is a truly wonderful and amazing facial oil. Meant for all skin types, it renews, softens and rebalances using a concentrated blend of rosehip, argan, neroli, lavender, chamomile and vitamin E suspended in a rich, golden liquid. It smells fabulous -- intense and intoxicating, with predominant lavender and neroli notes -- which I find very calming and a perfect addition to my skincare routine at night. In the morning I look very well rested and glowing, with plumped skin and post acne marks reduced and calmed significantly. The Cleanse & Polish, Instant Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Light have worked wonders in clearing my blemished skin, and the Superskin Concentrate has been amazingly effective in taking care of any post spot marks. I expect that in about a week to two weeks' time, my skin will have returned to a flawless and blemish free state.
Don't be nervous about applying an oil to oily skin -- oils are thought to be able to neutralise excess sebum production and rebalance the skin. An alternative to Superskin would probably be Clarins' Lotus Face Treatment Oil, which is similarly golden hued, but more liquidy. I live in Bermuda and if I can't get to London in time, I order directly from the website (www.lizearle.com) -- it is an amazingly simple site to use, the customer service is brilliant, and products arrive in impeccable condition (along with a free sample each time).

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. I was a LOYAL Creme de la Mer user for 8+ years... since I was 18, in fact... and I love the pampering aspect of the creme and the concentrate. But the La Mer products also clogged my pores like nobody's business. So in exchange for no lines and plump skin, I get pesky little white heads along on my nose. This is where Superskin comes in. Does EXACTLY what La Mer does, if not better, and the clogs have cleared up within a month of starting this regimen. Beautiful calming scent, goes on and absorbs like a dream. I'm turning my mom onto this just like I turned her onto La Mer! Plus it's very very reasonably priced for what it is!

This product has recently been given a makeover and renamed 'Superskin Concentrate'.
Sadly, it's still possible to have a bad reaction to 'all natural' products as well as the chemical filled ones.
This oil treatment has no nasties in it, but even so I had a very bad response to it, the worst I've ever had.
I don't blame the product, it smells like heaven (though very strong) and glides onto the skin like a dream. I blame my skin!
**It is always worth reinforcing the point; If you have known your skin to be sensitive in the past, please make extra sure you do a patch test for any new product, more than once if you can. Not all products produce a bad reaction on first application (as was the case with me). I used it 3 times before I had my swollen and shocking response.
If your skin can tolerate this product, then enjoy it! I wish I was as lucky as the reviewers before me, that I could benefit from this natural and aromatic elixir of oils. But it was not to be.

This product is truly amazing. I had a bad reaction one night from using too many AHA products. My face felt like it was on fire even after I had rinsed it with cold water. I applied the superbalm concentrate all over my face and the itching and burning immediately went away. My skin felt cool and soothed. I have used this product everyday since then and my skin really has changed for the better. The other reviewers are right, this product really is worth the money. Liz Earle also has phenomenal customer service.

Having quite combi skin I don't use this as often as some, but I have a brilliant trick with it;
After using any sort of depilatory product on the top lip (be it wax, cream, whatever) liberally soak the area with this SuperBalm Concentrate and it will calm it down no end, and prevent those horrid little spots from forming - really works a treat!
Yes I know I said that I would only review the Cleanse and Polish - but then discovered all these other listings - just need an officail listing to making finding this brand a bit easier :)

I received a 2ml free sample of this with my Liz Earle order and am so impressed with it I will most certainly buy the full-sized product. Nothing has ever left my skin feeling as velvety soft and silky smooth as this. I must look like a right nut-case as I can't stop stroking my neck and face, lol :-p Amazing results! The scent is absolutely gorgeous too, and very relaxing.

Lovely facial oil. I use it when my regular moisturizer just isn't totally up to the job. Moisturize first and then roll the skin oil on. Mmmm.
I encourage you to order directly from the Liz Earle site as they stand behind their product, and have taken product back that I reacted to. Shipping is steep to the other side of the pond (Canada), approx. $30 no matter what size your order is....so order lots and make it worthwhile!! :-)

Another rave for this gorgeously scented facial oil - i use it over my night cream whenever my skin's feeling dull or parched or just sensitive, and in the morning I can see the difference: soft, plumped-up skin. The rollerball is really clever: it's hygienic and portable and it's difficult to overdo the application, because you just roll on what you need, without spilling. It is quite expensive, but it lasts for ages, and, like all the Liz Earle line, I feel like it's good value for money: you're paying for quality ingredients, not for flashy packaging or Kiera Knightley's ad fee. Would heartily recommend it - my skin's never been glowier.

Whoo Hoo! I am thrilled with this purchase. Got the itty bitty size and now I am waiting on the full size. Exfoliate thoroughly and tone and moisturize and then follow with this right before bed. Like Liz Earle says " You'll wake up looking about 12" This sinks right into the skin and smells heavenly. It is pricey, but the low end of pricey and completely works and is worth every penny!
