This is my best friend in the summer! I love that it is not overwhelmingly dark as a bronzer and it just give your skin that gorgeous sun kissed glow! For darker skin ladies, try the Chocolate Mousse instead.
It is a mousse and glides on effortlessly to give you that velvety smooth feel. I absolutely adore the feel of my skin after putting this on. Also, this can also help soothe sun burn since it is packed with aloe vera oil, oats, rice peptides and Vit. E.
Of course, ColoreScience product is excellent because they have SPF in it and this particular one has SPF 20. Although when you first pumped it out, the consistency can feel a little buttery (greasy), it doesn't give any kind of sheen or feel oily at all. I can use this alone as my sunscreen when I am just walking down the street.
Love it and highly recommended!

I love this product, especially in the summertime when my regular foundation is too heavy and the wrong color for tanned skin. I use this as a light foundation by itself and it's great. It smooths out skin tone and does a pretty good job of covering up any red from blemishes. Plus, it's SPF 20, which is a big win in my book.

Way too expensive to do so little. It is simply a primer and not especially decent one either. It does make the face smooth but it does not last. You certainly will not wear this alone, and a test of good primer/prep is exactly that. In fact, this has no mattifying powder, so my makeup does not last. Very disappointed in its performance. I really need to stop purchasing items on a whim.

Save your money. Stick with Bare Essentials and you will not need to purchase this product. This product feel greasy and leaves an orange film on my face. I was told this product would ogve me a flawless look when used under the Colorescience foundation/powder.
I thought this was expensive and when I use Bare Essentials it covers everything and leaves my skin flawless and with lots of color.

I actually prefer the line tamer to the wild to mild. I have hyperpigmentation and the line tamer does way more in the blurring of discolourations department.....of course it doesn't completely cover, it just looks less jarring or a bit less dark. In the summer, I just wore the line tamer and concealer, but couldn't have worn just concealer without the line tamer's mild brightening effects. The wild to mild, however, did not blur colour imperfections at all because it just turned up orange on my skin (tanned half chinese; half irish).
In terms of skin smoothing effects: It does partly smooth out tiny texture issues and make my large pores less noticeable. But as another reviewer said, I do notice that once the oil sets in (I am very oily, especially in the summer), it seems to pool in the pores.

I love this product! It is pricey- but well worth it.
On the weekends, i just use the wild to mild and go...
For work, I used the mineral makeup.
This product smoothes out my pores and lessens my oil production.
I have extremely sensitive skin and this did nothing to aggravate it.
i have recommended this to my friends and they love it also.
I get it from skin-etc.com (if you buy over $20 woth of any product, you can get samples) it is about 9 dollars cheaper than anywhere else.

recommended by my aesthetician. i love this product. it smoothes over my black hole size pores without clogging them. it's pricey, but well worth it for my sensitive eczema prone skin. my only complaint is the packaging. there's no way to tell how close you are to the end of the pump. i wear my makeup light, so i often combine this with the sunforgettable and am out the door. occasionally, i add the f.a.c.e. for a little extra coverage, but i stress occasionally.

I love colorescience products, and this product certainly did not change that. It works great as a face primer and bronzer. It helps even out skin tone, and it feels so smooth on your skin. It's definitely pricey, but if you can afford it, you should buy it!

I got this on EBay at a great deal because I wanted to try both Line Tamer and the Mild to Wild. I adore Colorescience products, and just wanted to see what all the great reviews for these products were about. I was hoping that the creams would control oil, smooth my pores, hide some redness, and give me some glow. They do! I love the texture of them (they are basically the same product except Line Tamer is Yellow and Mild to Wild is a milky brown color). They smooth right in. The Line Tamer hides a lot of the redness around my mouth and nose, and the Mild to Wild adds a little glow to my very pale skin. Makeup smooths over these perfectly. For me, this product has replaced daytime moisturizer. I have only needed to moisturize at night. Both of the products are very soothing on my face. Sometimes I get irritated skin from my strong acne treatments, and they take the burn and irritation away. I don't have any lines to fill, but I don't have to blot my face until the evening, so oil control is definitely there. They smell like lemon meringue pie. I will rebuy both products. I have found some good stuff to prime/moisturize/protect my skin, but none are so soothing to put on nor as multitasking as this. The only problem I have is the dispenser. I can't tell how much is in there and I don't know how I'll get inside to see what I can get out when it stops coming out of the pump. I'll figure it out. This is great stuff.

I have been using both the line tamer and mild to wild since October of 2008 and am not really certain what all of the hype is about. I bought both products separately from the skinstore during a 50% off sale. So, I was able to get both of them for $45 rather than the original $90 for "line tamer" and "mild to wild" put together.
Regarding the products effectiveness, it doesn't deliver anywhere near what it promises. As for Line Tamer, the yellow color is supposed to hide red discoloration while the active ingredients promote the actual reduction of redness in the skin. Its supposed to help the skin look soothed, not stressed.
I have extremely mild rosacea and the line tamer does not cover the very mildest of redness that I've experienced.
Additionally, Line Tamer is supposed to aid in the reduction of pore visibility. According to the excerpts provided to the Skinstore "With this amazing texture, you can erase pores, smooth fine lines and mattify shine." While it did initially reduce the appearance of my pore size, I found that a few hours later, it had actually settled into my pores making them appear more visible. It also had a tendency to settle into my laugh lines, as well.
The Mild to Wild product is a nice bronzer and is supposed to be able to cover discoloration. This is not my experience. While its a nice bronzer, it simply does not cover much of anything.
Both products put together are considered foundation primers and I wouldn't say that they are the HG of foundation primers, either! Plus, a $90 price tag is steep for a foundation primer!
I will say this, when my skin has been in perfect (or near perfect condition), I have been able to put both products on (along with some powder and blush) and dash out the door.
As an additional positive, neither product ever irritated my skin nor did it cause me to break out at all.

I have both the line tamer and mild to wild bronzer...did see the two product combo, but they are excellent together or seperate. really makes a difference and think "more" of you skin. I just discovered this line of products and have loved them all...the foundation included. people that like the mineral foundations, but not the powders should try there products. I am a believer.

Amazing. This is the only product on the planet that actually fills in my humongous pores and doesn't grease out my oily skin AT ALL. Yes...that is a miracle for me. The only one I've ever run across. $65 for .68oz of each products (wild to mild bronzer on one end, and line tamer on the other). My skin stays slightly matte (read not flat but I don't blot) and smooth (almost poreless...as close to poreless as I'll ever get without a skin transplant) all day. My mu (tinted ss or foundation alike) glides on effortlessly over it without beading or schmearing. I need less of it and it lasts all day. If I use the bronzer side I really don't need any mu, just ss as it evens out my skin tone beautifully to a natural almost tan hue. The color the bronzer imparts is a beautiful light tan color (NO orange)...a cafe au lait shade (think coffee with lots of cream). It works best on my skin if it rests for about 10 min before applying other products. It literally melds to my skin, smooths and evens out my skin tone and fills in everything beautifully. I don't need concealer anyplace on my face (except around eyes...which i don't put this on). The line tamer side (yellow) is great for masking redness, like around my nose. While either side can be used separately, I usually use 1 pump from the wild to mild (bronzer) side and 1/2 pump from the tamer side (yellow) but it varies based on how much self tanner I've dipped into lately. 1.5 pumps covers my face and neck completely. The color is easily adjustable. I've been using it for about a month with no breakouts or adverse side effects yet. I've tried just about all the primers from Sally Hansen (pretty good one at making mu last and I thought helped with pores...until I used this), to Sue Devitt to Smashbox (all SB's) and on and on. This really does what I always imagined a primer was supposed to do...make my skin look as naturally flawless as possible all day.

Oh I love this bronzer or cream or whatever is but make my skin super soft and radiant.
I use it as a primer after moisturizer and before make up. With this product under my bronzing powder my skin looks amazing. I don't need any foundation with this. No break outs which is my first problem with all products and don't make me oily. Also cover really well redness and imperfections. Is hard to describe this product because is light brown cream which can be use as moisturizer, bronzer, primer or whatever you like. I just love the way my skin look and feel with this.

This is an AWESOME product!!! I can't believe there are not more reviews on this. I ordered the sample sizes from skin store. Seven dollars a apiece. I have the beginning of rosecea and this is amazing for evening out skin tone. My skin hasn't looked this good in ten years. I have lots of sun damage and am starting to react to all ingredients in products. Am currently washing face with olive oil and using vitamin a oil and aloe jelly and UNREFINED shea butter. HUGE improvement. This is a product from Colorscience. From what i have learned only available at plastic surgeon's office etc and on-line. They are supposedly gettting ready to up their marketing to get the brand out their. Anyway, their products can be used immediately after any cosmetic procedures without irritation. I plan to order the duo called Smoothster which contains the anti line yellow toning cream and this wild to mild bronzing complex, very light and you can add over it. Anyway lots of Hollywood people suppsedly use it and for 65 dollars it is a HOLY grail product now to me. Also, skin store will take returns. I believe anyone over 20 or with any skin uneveness will love this. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU TRY IT!!! I was getting sooo upset with current skin issues, old 43, sundamage blah, blah, blah and this is a true treat>> Wanted to write a detailed review as I have really been grateful to all the people who take the time on this board to give their opinions, it truly has helped. LOL

I'm not sure what the hype about this product is all about. I've used it several times and it doesn't do a thing! Despite the orange color of the product, you can't even tell I've applied anything.

I used this product on one of my friends who has very uneven skin tone and texture, she has a lot of milia and blackheads, and usually when we put foundation on her she looks caked up. So while I was blending this product on her face, she thought she was going to hate it, because I applied good portion of it and it was supposed to look heavy, but it did not! I applied skin smoothing cream, then used sunforgettable powder and she looked gorgeous, picture perfect!!!

This is the only product that actually works on covering my pores. It does an amazing job of smoothing out my skin tone. Pricey, but worth it because it actually does what it's suppose to do.

After reading the glowing reviews, I bought this product on sale. I really dislike foundation and am a big fan of the Colorscience line, so I was not surprised that I love this product too...I am not sure just why some reviewers seem to be turned off by the packaging, though. I think that the dispenser holes are small because you are not supposed to put too much of this product on (either the line tamer or the bronzer). The light texture of this product is excellent, though the bronzing effect is *very* faint for those who have medium-dark skin (but nice nonetheless). A great item for travel and everyday use -- I highly recommend this product for anyone who doesn't like foundation but still wants a more polished look.
A day or two later: *Now* I know why people are complaining about the packaging (specifically, the pump): it's horrible! It stops dispensing the product after just a few uses! Uggggg!

My dermatologist recommended this product to me after I had some microdermabrasion and a light chemical peel. She put some on my face before I left the office (thank God!) and gave me some sample sizes to take home. OMG!!! I couldn't believe how it covered so much of the residual hyperpigmentation and the little broken capillaries in my cheeks! Absolutely amazing! And it feels like velvet going on my skin. I've been wearing a full coverage foundation for several years and today I went to work with this instead. I was afraid at first to use only this product (you know those nightmares where you show up for work naked?) but this actually makes my skin look better than my foundation does. I sent my DH back to the Dr's office today to pick up the full size. This will definitely be a staple for me.
