I got this as a bonus, my mom and I buy a lot of Freeman products, particularly the peel-off masks. I enjoy this product moderately, it's gentle enough, smells good, and feels nice while using it. But I'm not exactly won over by it yet.

This is a good summer cleanser for me - I have combo/oily skin. It's not especially drying to me - doesn't leave skin "squeaky clean" like Neutrogena or Clinique foaming cleansers. The smell is refreshing, more champagne than blueberries. For what it is (a drugstore cleanser,) it's good, better than most (morning Burst.) I Put it in the fridge actually and after long hot days it feels so good to wash my face with it. I live in New Orleans where the word 'hot' doesn't even begin to describe the weather this time of year. I follow with Philosophy When Hope is not Enough. Anyway somewhat annoying packaging but an all around decent cleanser for oily skin.

Well I seem to be a rarity here, but I love this product (I use the mask). Last weekend I used it after a hellish week of all-nighters (exam time). Let me tell you, I looked like hell when I woke up that morning (only had 3-4 hrs of sleep) but after using this my skin was instantly bright and fresh-looking. Its a great pick-me-up, makes me feel so clean and refreshed and leaves my skin soft and firm. Love it!
EDITED: I guess this category is for the facial cleanser, not the mask. My above review refers to the peel-off mask, which is great. I've never used the cleanser.

I bought this years ago and while I liked the smell, I felt this was only an average cleanser at best. The Freeman packaging is pretty and fun., the prices minimal, but would not buy this again.

Pretty average. Does the job cleaning about as well as any other gel cleanser i have used, and not over-drying, but i just cant get past that detergent-y smell. Makes me wonder exactly how much detergent is in this and how my skin will react in the longrun! It doesnt smell at all like blueberries & grapes, unlike the peel-off mask of the same name. I love the peel-off mask & so i had high hopes for this stuff, especially since it has antioxidants in it. But, its just too much for me, i'm sticking with my tried and true L'Oreal gel!

This cleanser is a thick pale blue and it's hard to squeeze out of the bottle. It foams up nice, but I don't care for the scent. It doesn't smell like fresh blueberries- it's a heavier faker scent. Does a decent job of getting skin clean, but a little drying. Not good for winter at all. Maybe good for summer.

The Freeman line of products is a very inexpensive, high-quality line of products for face, feet, hair and body. The Blueberries & Champagne line is a great-smelling, blueberry and white grape-scented group of products. I am slightly disappointed in the Facial Gel Cleanser because it is somewhat drying. It is not VERY drying, just somewhat. I am 35 and need more moisture than this product offers. I highly recommend this cleanser to younger (20's) women. It is non-irritating, gentle and cleans well.

Smells nice but this is not really a great face wash. It lathers and cleans fairly well but has its drawbacks. My skin is pretty oily and can take most products, but this stuff made me itch and I was fearing I'd get a rash, but luckily I didn't. It's about three dollars for a big bottle so if you want to try it, it won't cost you much.

Dried me up...dried me up...dried my OILY FACE up.... Dried me up so badly that it started to flake. Made my skin look so DISGUSTING that I was afraid!! :O Nuff said. Would rather die than repurchase.

I bought a Freeman sampler booket containing the Blueberry and Champagne Facial Cleanser. Sounded like a good cleanser, with blueberries (know anti-oxidents). Boy, was I wrong! I broke out with these weird bumps and flakiness on my eyelids (an odd occurance which I've never experienced) as well as on the rest of my face. I have pretty tough skin, but this product ravaged it and I advise you NOT to use this product, EVER!!! This product should have a big warning sign in red on it!

i was a devout user of this when it was just the blueberry gel in the tube (then again, I also had never ventured in to high-end skincare). Anyway, they changed the formula. I find it to be thin and I don't have that deep-clean feeling that I get with my MAC green gel cleanser.

Love the scent, packaging and look of the product. It did a fine job cleansing, but I left a lot of room above it, since other cleansers have done a far better job on my oily skin. So far, no breakouts, but many other cleansers leave my face feeling much cleaner, so this one performs about average on me. Perhaps for more normal, less sensitive skins.

I love this stuff. It is a gel that lathers up then washes right off. It clears my face right up. And leaves it very clean. I never had a product clean out my pores like this. I cannot live with out it. I have been using it for about 3 years now.

This cleanser foamed up nicely and smelled good but caused a small breakout on my face. Also, it left a filmy feel and didnt make my face feel clean.

What a bargain! I'm sort of a makeup snob, but for $3 I decided to throw it in my travel bag. Wow -it lathers up w/ just a little amt. In fact, I watered it down because the gel was so thick.

It removes makeup very well. My skin feels refreshed and squeaky clean.
