This is my signature perfume! I LOVE anything coconut smelling and I LOVE this perfume oil, I got it for christmas YEARS ago and I still have half a bottle, I do only use this when I go out, not everyday however. I've never really been a perfume lover so this is perfect for me because it's not overpowering but still makes me smell fab and I always get comments on it.

This is another little something I picked up in my Christmas stocking, and when I say little I mean it. It only comes in a 15ml size, which will cost you £6.95. On to the fragrance; it's GREAT. It's a really yummy coconutty smell, however coconut isn't the only smell in this. Once you've got it on your skin, it really smells like a tropical blend of fruits and florals. It's super yummy. The staying power is also fantastical, it lasts for ages due to it being an oil. The downside to this is well...oil on your skin. It can feel a bit weird at times, but the smell and staying power far outlives this one downside. It's a strong sexy smell, ideal for summer I think, as the fragrance will survive the heat and just smell great. So, overall, fantastic fragrance, great price, and cruelty free! What could be better?

I was hoping this would smell more "coconutty" it seemed to be a bit more sweet, maybe some vanilla, but not really liek coconut. I bought this bc I am a HUGE fan of the Body Shop's coconut line for the body and was hoping to layer, but the result wasn't what I had hoped for. It is inexpensive, the bottle could be convenient for travel, but will not purchase again.

This was DISCONTINUED... I'm really MAD. I stopped wearing my pink sugar because I like this that much. I can't really find a coconut perfume so I'm really annoyed. If anyone knows of a good, long lasting, coconut perfume, please let me know.
It's definitely not pure coconut. It definitely has vanilla. To me it smells like even parts of vanilla and coconut. I like the sent A LOT.
Usually I wear Pink Sugar - almost EVERY SINGLE DAY. I love love love Pink Sugar. To me Pink Sugar smells very vanillay (that's not really a word lol) but this doesn't smell like that.
I wanted a coconut perfume sooooo bad. I went to Bath and Body works, I like their coconut lime body spray but the EDT smells... bad. The EDT of the coconut lime has way too much citrus and not enough coconut. It almost smelt like pure citrus to me. So I searched for a moderatly priced coconut perfume and this is what I found.
It's 16 dollars for a half ounce bottle. Considering a 1.7 ounce of Pink Sugar is 40, this isn't terribly priced. I heard it lasts very long, my 1.7 of PS didn't last long at all. I am able to get PS for much cheaper thanks to Amazon though so for me PS is cheaper than this.
I'm not sure I will wear this EVERY DAY like PS but right now I do love it. It's a good change, not so different from my favorite sweet scents. It does remind me of sweet sun lotions and I wanted something that smelled like that. I'm wearing it now in the winter, I love sweet scents all year.
ohhh, I don't love the application I might put it in a spray bottle but I don't know how that will work out since this is an oil... I'm not sure yet. We'll see...

I am generally really liking tropical and beachy scents right now. I tried this about a week ago and could not stop thinking about it, and picked up a bottle today. It's not straight coconut, it has some added fruit and floral notes but it comes off smelling tropically cuddly and yummy - if you know the scent of Suave coconut shampoo and conditioner, that is what this oil smells like, at least for the first while. (BTW Suave coconut actually smells really, really good for budget haircare products IMO.) I was afraid that it might turn synthetic and plasticky in the drydown but it doesn't, it stays 'right' until it fades away. I wish I had discovered this earlier in the summer. Would recommend and repurchase.

Love love love this fragrance oil, I only wish it came as a body spray as well. I add it to a coconut hair shine mist from Boots and then use it as a perfume to spray on my hair and clothes. Have got so so so many compliments when I wear it. Loads of people comment on it and say i smell like holidays, Bounty bars etc... Can't imagine my life without it! Makes your hair smell lovely too.

I really like this perfume oil. Like another reviewer said, this is very similar to to Ralph Laurens Hot. Although the bottle is tiny, it comes with a little applicator which makes it really easy to apply. Very economical.

I bought this yesterday and am happy in fact very pleased. I'm a fan of TBS oils but their reformulated versions of many are disapponting. This is not strictly coconut on me. It becomes very tropical. Reminds me of coconut fruit drink with vanilla! I hoped that this would be predominantly coconut but since this lasts for ages and doesnt give me a headache or block my nose (as most TBS perfume oils do including my beloved White Musk) i give this 5 lips! No need to repurchase as this will last me a very long time. If you like tropical beachy type scents (i'm not normally keen on these) then go for it. Try beforehand as it is likely to smell different on you.
Update: I had to downgrade to three lips sadly. I think i was over excited and now this scent makes me feel sick it is that sweet sickly type. I wanted there to be a sweet coconut oil scent but instead i get a mango/tropical type scent with hint of coconut which i've tried to love and it is not happening :o(
Update (2): Having tried other coconut smelling shortlived perfumes i came back to this and after the initial odd fruity notes the scent settles and smells sweet candy coconut. For now this suffices and i'v.e upgraded to 4

While this fragrance is nice, it is not nearly as coconutty as I had wanted. There seems to be another scent mingling along with the coconut, something somewhat spicy. The dry down is decent, the scent lasts quite a while and I like the oil formulation. I find it leaves a nice soft scent on your skin, rather than surrounding you in a haze of scent which typical perfumes seem to. I think this fragrance is perfect for summer. I will continue to use this perfume as it is very nice, I may even purchase it again for the scent, but my quest for the perfect coconut continues.
I do wish the Body Shop would revive their old collection of fragrance oils, I miss the selection and the old coconut.

It is not easy to find a coconut fragrance that doesn't smell overwhelmingly artificial and cloying. This perfume oil, however, is lovely. The description on TBS webpage states that this contains coriander in the top notes and sandalwood in the base notes, and I think it is the inlcusion of these that prevents the coconut smell from being too dominant and simple. The overall effect is warm, pleasant, tropical, and upbeat--perfect for summer, perfect for travel, perfect as a pick-me-up type of fragrance. The scent lasts all day on me, which is impressive for a fragrance in this price category. I imagine it would go well in combination with the vanilla oil too. Thumbs up for this one!

I agree with what everyone else says, a lovely summery scent (nice for hot holidays), good small bottle so you can carry it around with you, and also a little tip - it smells greatttttttttt with the vanilla perfume oil!!

I adore this perfume oil. It smells absolutely gorgeous, very summery like sun protection lotions but a bit nicer. It lasts for ages. I put it on my neck and wrists in the morning and it stays on until I go to bed. The little bottle is very cute, great for traveling, and the little wand helps you put on just the right amount , it's also a nice change to spray perfumes. The price is fantastic, generally you would pay around £30-£40 for a fragrance, but this I feel lasts longer, smells better (nothing chemical or synthetic) and obviously is a tiny fraction of the price. Nothing but positive words for this perfume oil, I recommend it to anyone who likes like fragrances that smell a bit tropical and summery.

I have gone kind of crazy for coconut scents recently and I have no idea why. They smell so creamy and delicious and summery so I guess with it being summer my other vanilla spicy scents seemed too heavy. This is oil is like most body shop oils-same bottle and consistency. It has decent staying power, just a light bit seems to linger on for hours, but I swear their oils do not last as long as they used to. This one goes on smelling slightly sweet(not sickeningly) like fresh coconuts, and dries down to a vanilla type scent with just a hint of coconut and maybe a bit of chocolate-some describe powdery, but to me it is not quite that. I really like this, so I bought the body butter and shower cream today. The butter is such a true coconut it is delicious! I will defintiely repurchase as a summer fragrance!

These little bottles are so cute! Coconut is quite a foody coconut fragrance - like coconut shreds rather than coconut cream. The silky liquid/oil feels great on skin, and whilst I'm actually not too keen on this fragrance alone, I love mixing it with other TBS fragrance oils. This is best mixed with Vanilla and Pink Fruit Punch - this combination smells like summer on the beach and is very addictive! Coconut doesn't have that many layers, but mixed with Vanilla (which has hints of fruits and florals) and Pink Fruit Punch (which is softly fruity-floral rather than punchy-sharp), this makes the whole experience more complex! So yes, I will continue to repurchase this in order to mix with some of my other fragrances to keep the summer spirits up.

I used to wear this oil back in the 80's and I remember it as a gorgeous rich coconut scent...I have even written to TBS before to ask them to bring back this scent....so much to my delight they did...well kind of...upon first sniff I could smell some coconut...but not rich coconut, more of a $1 air freshener coconut....I figured once it had time to settle into my skin it might get better....however for me it didn't and I am so disappointed...I'm not sure if the original smelled like this or my memory is just severely distorted...either way my coconut search continues...

Mmmm! I am crazy about coconuts. I mean, CRAZY. I had bought the TBS coconut body butter, and I needed something as a fragrance to layer my scent. I hadn't been aware that TBS did coconut oil, so as soon as I heard, I went straight out and snapped it up! At £6.50 the price couldn't be more reasonable. The scent is coconut- no dispute about that, but there are a lot of ohter notes. A prominent one is vanilla, and I think a bit of Sandalwood? I actually looked on the website and it says those notes are in it, along with corriander! Anyway, whatever they are, they smell fabulous. Also, seeing as it is an oil, the scent lasts SO much longer than a spray. I layer it with the butter, and 'I should Coco' LUSH soap. However I think I might buy TBS coconut shower creme instead of the LUSH soap. If you like coconut, you should give this a shot. I have come to terms with that fact I probably never will get a 100% true coconut fragrance- but this comes darn close and smells yummy. I am definatley repurchasing!

YUM! very coconutty. i can't really detect the floral note that the others do, though. i dab a teeny bit of this on my wrists along with some bobbi brown beach and i am immediately transported into island heaven! one drawback to this scent is the sweet note - it could really do without the over-cloying candy smell. apart from that, loves it!

I received a rather large gift certificate as a wedding shower present and had some great retail therapy after work today. I bought a lot of stuff, with this oil being one of them.
I don't remember TBS oils being so faint, but this definately is. I can hardly smell it. However, it does smell very nice - almost a powdery coconut/vanilla. Not exactly what I had in mind, but still nice to add to lotions etc, especially in summer.
I will not repurchase, but will use it up.

I like this alot. I used to buy an oil blend called coco-mango from an old rasta peddler in the city and if you mix this with the mango it smells exactly like that. It smells like the beach. It's yummy and it really sinks into your skin in about an hour and lasts forever. Really good for summer!
