I LOVE this Body wash not to mention Olay products period. I have been buying this for 6 months now and it makes me skin feel so good and smell wonderful. I see alot of bad reviews saying you didn't feel clean and it left a film on their skin. Ladies that is the feeling of the lotion seeping into your skin and you do have clean skin after using a louffa it just doesn't feel like it because the lotion is that thick and good. I will continue to buy this product. <3

This smelled musty and I didn't feel any cleaner after using it. Leaves a residue in your shower/bath. The only good use I could find for it was to use while shaving my legs... but then I just couldn't get over the smell so I threw it out half-full. I've never done that with a body wash before and I felt wasteful doing it but it was just *that* bad.

Smells good, moisturises well, and foams well, can't really complain. I said I would buy again but not sure just because I like to try different body washes :)
EDIT - I think this is giving me a rash - It's also probably way to highly fragranced for me. I wouldn't buy this again.

I absolutely love this stuff for winter. It is hands down the most moisturising body wash I've ever tried.
Because it is cream based it doesn't foam as much as other body washes and it won't give you that squeaky clean finish like a gel body wash does, so I don't use this in summer or after a trip to the gym. The scent is very sweet, it smells good in the bottle but can be a bit strong in a steamy shower. I like that the bottom side cap helps you get every bit of product from the bottle but it doesn't have a 'lip' so I don't have to ruin my nails to get it open.
I almost took off one lippy for the strong scent and lack of suds but since this stuff is more moisturising as a shower wash than half the body lotions I've tried that seemed a bit too picky. All in all - I keep coming back to this as a winter wash because it actually adds moisture to my skin and leaves it super soft afterwards and nothing else I've tried has done that.

i really love this. i have used almost every drugstore body wash out there. some r ok some r super drying. this for me leaves me the softest. i have the body butter one and it smells great! not to strong and when i use it with my scrubby shower gloves i feel so soft. and winter in san diego is very very dry so ive been going thu tons of body cream and this makes it so i almost dont need any. its kinda expensive for not gettting a ton of it but its really nice for winter.

Leaves my skin very soft, so I appreciate its performance. However, it didn't get a 5 because, although I don't actually dislike the scent, it's a little strong (and long-lasting) for a fragrance I only feel "meh" about. Also, the packaging is inconvenient. Like all "upside-down" style bottles, you have to close and re-open the cap in-between squirts because it won't stand upright otherwise. I'd rather just have a normal bottle and turn it upside-down and shake it when I get near the end. EDIT: Had to come back and take this down a notch. It doesn't remove antiperspirant effectively. So I won't buy again.

I really love the smell of this product & the packaging of the pretty ribbon effect it has in the bottle. Since I'm pregnant & trying to avoid stretch marks at any cost I thought I would try this out since it says it's really moisturizing & I have really dry skin. It left me just feeling dirty after my shower. Like I had a film of soap still on me & I felt sticky. I made sure to rinse the product off throughly but no matter what it still felt like there was stuff on my skin. I want to feel CLEAN after a shower not dirty. Kinda disappointed because I really liked the smell of this product. I mean, it's ok, Its just really wasn't what I was expecting.

I really love this product it is amazing. It makes ur skin smell so good and moisturizes ur skin just like a lotion. After I used it my skin was so velvety soft and supple. I use it as a shaving gel as well as a body wash and it works great. I have nothing bad to say about this product what so ever. I will definitely be repurchasing this again(:

These ribbons body washes looked very promising. And then I tried them. This is just bad. The scents are nice and I do like how in the beginning this feels creamy. But then after use I tend to feel greasy and my shower is a mess. This seems to leave a film that is not just left on my shower, but my skin. Packaging is horrible as well. All of the flip caps on these are hard to use when my hands are wet.

Left my bath tub a mess!! yuk! imagine whats left on my skin ? I felt soft after using it but not clean like theres a film left on my skin, just like my bathtub. the smell was great but a bodywash should make me feel clean not like I was dipd in oil. I will stick to my Dove bar and use a body lotion after.

All you ever see is all body wash commercials saying the same thing! They make your body softer and wash away dead skin or whatever they are saying. This I loved it made my skin soft. I have dry skin as it is sometimes but I also have hard water where I live so a product like this really helps.
I have tried all of the different varieties and it just depends what you like. They are make your skin super soft and silky even!

My skin is very dry especially in the winter. I always have to cover myself with Body Shop Body Butter after a shower; but with this body wash my skin felt less dry, and very smooth after my shower. I do not feel as though I need to use as much body lotion thanks to this body wash. The only thing that I do not love is the smell. Too old/floral smelling.

I really like the color swirl of this body wash in the bottle. It does a good job moisturizing my skin like a typical moisturizing body wash would do. I have rather oily skin so I don't really notice any special moisturizing effects on my skin and I use it during the winter season.

Olay Ribbons – almond oil
I have been loyal to Dove body washes for years, and as the years go by, Dove keeps getting better and better. I recently have been using the Cream Oil body wash love it very much. However, like many here, I am always wanting to try something new, I am a sucker for a good deal, and I am willing to try something new if it’s free. Well, Walgreens ran a promo where I could try this free after their ‘extra care bucks’ (like a store credit voucher) and so I thought I would give it a go.
I have dry skin, especially in winter, so I NEVER use bar soaps and I am very picky about the body wash I use. It needs to be moisturizing, smell pretty and make me feel clean.
The consistency of this is weird. It comes out kinda chunky – like cottage cheese. At O first I thought maybe it went bad, but it still smelled good, so I went ahead.
Packaging – I like that it is designed to be stored with the ‘cap’ on the bottom so it is always easy to dispense. I also like that water doesn’t fill up in the cap. More body washes should think of these things.
Performance – great! I wasn’t expecting much, but I love it. It gets me clean, it smells fresh, but not overly strong and perfume-y and it leaves my skin hydrated. It does sort of leave a film like others said, but that doesn’t bother me. To me it’s the same as putting on lotion on as soon as you get out of the shower. It eventually absorbs into the skin and is fine. It doesn’t ‘cling’ to my clothes or anything –which I have also experienced. I can actually get away without putting on lotion right after showering which is nice for a change. Usually if I do that I am scaly by the end of the day. So, the film isn’t ideal, but it doesn’t keep me from liking it.
It seems kind of expensive for such a small bottle, but a little really goes a long way. It lasted me about 2 months. I did purchase a second one in a different scent, and I am looking forward to using it.
Compared to the Dove Cream Oil? Well, they both are very hydrating. I don’t think I can get away without lotion with Dove, like I can with the Olay, but it is sans the film. Olay has better packaging. Will this replace my beloved Dove? I really like them both, so I guess I will by which ever one is on sale at the time – they both work great.

I was actually SHOCKED as to how well this worked as a moisturizing body wash. Usually I end up feeling really dried out but the almond oil in this really absorbs into my skin and because my skin is so dry I don't feel any film left over.

The packaging is annoying, but the product is wonderful. I use it for shaving and it makes my skin really soft. The "film" everyone else complained about is really just a nice feeling of moisture because of the almond oil. It is not filmy. I've never had any problems with it staining my shower either. EVER.

Great product, though not quite as moisturizing as advertised. I've used this body wash almost exclusively since it came out a few years ago and can't get enough of it. Not because I find it to be that effective of a moisturizer, as I don't, but because it has the best lather of any body wash I've ever tried and I've tried many. Every now and then another body wash will tempt me into switching (usually because it has a smell I fancy), but I always come back to the Olay Ribbons because I miss the thick, creamy lather. The stuff is lather is thicker and dreamier than what you'd get from good bubble bath and it's the only body wash I truly feel comfortable shaving with. The creamy foam just feels decadent. It doesn't however, feel all that moisturizing. It does just enough so that you don't jump out of the shower feeling drier than when you go in, and can maybe hold you over a few hours if you're in too big of a hurry to apply lotion right after your shower but that's about it. I don't consider that a drawback though as I have yet to find a moisturizing body wash that is anything as good as advertised. This one, while lackluster at best in that department, is at least as good as anything else I've tried if not fractionally better. My only real complaint is that the scent is subtle (I can only smell it if I make a point to) and boring. Good I guess for people who aren't into scented bath items, but the lack of fun fragrance has allowed me to be tempted away from using this every so often. Fortunately Olay recently released a version of this body wash scented with Mandarin Oil which smells divine (like a Dreamsicle!) and works just as well as the original. Now I'm really a happy customer!
