I ♥ LOVED ♥ this soap! I loved the fragrance; I did not find it heavily-scented or too perfumey. I just wish I could still find it on store shelves... becuz it seems that Dove discontinued this particular soap and replaced it with stinky, new, scented, bar soaps called "Go Fresh" that burn my eyes and sting my nostrils when I use them in the shower. Looks like I'm going to have to switch back to Olay bar soap again....

I used the body wash version of this. I loooved it. I made sure to keep the bottle since they came out with a new ugly UGLY hideous looking bottle thats okward to use. I just refill the old one. It gets a 4 cause I hate the bottle. Looks tacky and I would never want it in my shower. Id cry everytime id look at it haha. Lol.

I love Dove soap, and use it to wash my face and remove my make-up every night without fail. Ive tried lots of the different varieties, and in my opinion they are all pretty much identical in use, the only difference is the scent or colour of the bar. The calming night variety works just as well as all the others, leaving my skin feeling soft and clean.

Yuck! I got a sample bodybar. Thank god it was free, I would not purchase. This reeks, what was Dove thinking? I love vanilla and orientals, and whatnot, but this was just nauseating. Don't buy it. At least sniff the box or something if you do. If you are trying to sleep or relax, get a good lavender soap or wash at Whole Foods.

This bar soap and there calm night body wash, They made me itch, there is something in this soap and body wash and the glowing one also, they both made me have allergic reaction, But, I use FAITHFULLY All the original white dove bars, and the pink bar, and the nutrium (new), bar soaps, Never will I ever Use those two bar soaps, (calming night, and glowing shimmer bar).

Very nice... I like this a lot. I initially thought this would smell commonly like lavender (just like so many other nightime bath products do), but was pleasantly surprised with the light honey fragrance. Very soothing and quite surprisingly, this really does calm me for nightime. I hope this does not get discontinued! In any case, I am stockpiling because I love it that much.

I got a free sample, and I was so disappointed -- not because it was a bad product, but because there was nothing that made it soothing or even different from any other moisturizing body wash. I would never buy this because it doesn't do what it claims at all.

This is my favorite Dove body wash. It's creamy and has a nice light scent and left my skin moisturized. I don't know about the "calming" effect, I think it's a marketing gimmick but I will definitely buy this again.

This (and all the other Dove body washes) does moisturize much better than all the other b.w. out there. I find the Cool Moisture to moisturize best, then Deep Moisture, then this. But that does not mean it is bad. St. Ives, etc can't even compare. That being said, this smells like perfume. Not gross perfume, but perfume none the less.There is nothing calming about it. It takes "synthetic smelling" to a whole new level. P.S. Unlike Cool Moisture b.w. I do need to use lotion after this.

Recieved this body wash as a sample with a bottle of deep moisture I ordered and I agree with the reviewer below in saying that it does smell a bit like laundry detergent which is not necessarily a bad thing. I love the smell of clean laundry!! It's ironic but the night I used it I was up till 5am working on an assignment!! The smell was quite soothing though and I loved the lingering fragrance on my skin. It lathered beautifully as well. While it wouldn't be my first choice, I would repurchase simply because it's Dove and I trust their products totally!!

I have oily acne prone skin especially on my upper back area and have never been able to use dove products body washes before this one. I chose this scent over the mornign glow because it has a light sweet honey scent while the morning glow is more floral. This hands down is the most moisturizing body wash I have EVER used. Even over olay and aveeno this one left my body silky soft as if I had just used lotion all over. This rinses completely clean and leaves no residue or film behind. The scent is plesant and nice, I have severe fragrance allergies and this is one of the only scented body washes I can use that has a punch to it. The price is great for the size, I recently bought an aveeno body wash half this size but payed twice as much and despite that having oatmeal and such, this one is 10 x more moisturizing. I cant say enough about the scent and softness my skin has. A great product from dove & a great scent. Would highly recommend. *note* when you use this on a rag and rinse the rag you can tell how moisturizing this is because no matter how much you rinse the rag its silky soft as well.

This is interesting. Smells like laundry detergent. Very synthetic but somewhat pleasant. I am not sure about the calming effect, but it definitely makes you feel very clean. Probably due to the scent.

I got a free sample of the body wash/lotion from the Dove website and I tried it today. I was drawn to the honey it had, but it did not smell like honey, just like the mild Dove scent that all their stuff smells like. The body wash left my skin pretty dry. The body lotion doesn't smell like honey, but has a mild sweet perfume scent. It works okay as a moisturizer, but I will stick to my Burt's Bee HG honey body butter and KMF Honey Pot soap instead. Will not purchase either item.

I'm a huge Dove fan so I decided to give this a whirl. I don't like the scent and it doesn't seem as moisturizing as other Dove soaps for some reason. I gave the rest of the pack away to a friend.

This is a pretty decent body wash. It lathers up nicely, and washes off easily. Your skin feels clean after you rinse it off. My skin feels softer after I get out of the shower. The smell is okay, but I prefer my body washes to smell more tropical/fruity. One lippie off because of the smell.

Very nice moisturizing body wash. I liked that it washes off easy not like other gels. The smell is all right not the best one. It left my skin feeling very soft though.
