I agree with previous rewever; for us warm neutrals thos color is terrific. A youthful honey bronzey brownish warm red. With his one on my lips, I look playful and natural. A red lipstick for for the shy one really. My only tiny complaint it the formula. I think it is a bit too buttery. A dream if you have dry lips and still want to war lipstick. But otherwhise it is almoust greasy. I think the stayingpower would have been better if it just had been a bit dryer.

I guess it's a color type issue on this lipstick because I love the Butter Shine lipsticks in general, but this one is I think my favorite shade. I am fair with reddish hair, and can never decide if I am cool or warm. Although I have a lot of pink in my face, realy cool colors don't look good on me, and neither do SUPER warm tones. This cinnamony color is neither too brown, too orange, or too red. It's just a perfect sort of warm reddish neutral color that I could wear every day. Just my two cents.....

I'm giving this colour 3*. It came with some others in a travel palette I mistakenly bought at the airport. Overall I'm not impressed but this shade is probably the best contained in that palette. It looks like a soft brick red (I can't see any orange) but goes on very sheer with lots of shimmer. The shimmer is actually what I don't like about this - it looks gorgeous (gold and pink) micro-shimmer in the packaging but looks just like frost/pearl on my lips. Otherwise the shade does suit my yellow-toned skin and green eyes nicely. I would recommend to test first: some with similar colouring may like this but I personally prefer creamier, deeper shades.

Although I love Butter Shines, this color didn't do much for me. It wasn't horrible, but it had a coppery/orange tint to it on my lips that I didn't care for. Will not repurchase.

Very nice colour. Defines my lips.
I have super dry lips and irriated easily. My lips were still moist and in perfect condition without applying lip balm beforehand for a day.
Definitely will repurchase.

My fave Buttershine. A warm-sheer brick red- MLBB colour on my lips. My colouring : warm - NC 30-ish.

This was my first Butter Shine and I love the formula. It glides on beautifully, is not at all drying and has nice pigment. Unfortunately, this color didn't work for me (it looks brick red in the tube but goes on rather orange), so I swapped it. I do love the Perfect Plum Butter Shine I got afterwards, though. I'm a warm-neutral PPP with dark brown hair.
