Super shiny without being overly sticky, this is a nice gloss. For me in no way $14 nice, moreover whatever indifference I may have felt about the company before has now morphed into complete disrespect. I had no idea they were trying to market this as a lip plumper. That's.. pretty pathetic.

HG....................The absolute very best in every way. Plumps, evens out lip lines, moistens....i've tried them all including oils and Aquaphor. I will never be without and will go online to find it less expensive than Whole Foods. My lips look and feel great. Lipsticks with alcohol can be drying and this fixes them on contact. Great gloss substitute!
Edit 4/27/10..be careful to not overdue, as it can be irritating. I guess it's the orange juice ingredient. May be best to use overnight.

I have friends who said this doesn't moisturize as much as Burt's Bees does, but it works better on me than BB. I think you just have to squeeze enough amount and slather on your lips, and let it get warmed up a bit to get the moisturizing and plumping effect. It gets harder and a bit difficult to squeeze out in the winter, so it takes longer to get warmed up on your lips, but in the summer, it works in seconds. For people like me who needs moisture for their lips throughout the year, this is a v good product as it's quite balm-y (though a bit oily sometimes), but doesn't leave a waxy layer (like BB) or add petrolatum to make your lip oily yet flaky after a while when you can literally peel some skin off (like Kiehl's~hate that!).
The tube is supposed to do a clean job until it cracks on the sides and leaks a bit (maybe after frequent pressing and kneading), now I am just 1/3 done and have to transfer it to a small sample jar. Shouldn't happen~
Price is on the expensive side, but this small tube last a long time with quality ingredients.
1 lippie off for the broken tube and a bit oily in some warmer days.

I love that this is an organic lip plumper as it's hard to find a product that fits that criteria. Overall, I didn't really notice any major plumping effects, although it is smoothing and works quite well as a lip balm. It applies on clear, no colour and very minimal shine, almost none. The scent isn't my favourite but it is not offensive- kind of smells like oranges. It is a pretty large tube (15 mL or 5 fl. oz) and lasts fairly long but does have an expiry date: I bought mine sometime last June and the expiry date was 07/10.
I would recommend trying this out, only reason why I wouldn't repurchase is that it made my lips feel itchy sometimes so I must not agree with one of the ingredients.
Ingredients: Organic juices of citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) juice & aloe barbadensis leaf juice, organic simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, glycerin, organic honey, organic essential fatty acids of oenothera biennis (evening primrose), linum usitatissimum (linseed) seed & borago officinali (borage) seed, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol (vitamin E), retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), ascorbly palmitate (vitamin C), caprylic/capric triglyceride, ethylhexyl (octyl palmitate, tribehenin, sorbitan isosteareate, palmitoyl oligopeptide, glyceryl stearate, sorbitan stearate, phospholipids, glycolic acid, palmitic acid, steareac acid, cetearyl glucoside, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, limonene, linalool, citrus tangerina & cinnamomum cassia leaf (cinnamon) pure essential oils.

I agree - if you're looking for serious plumping action, look elsewhere. But seriously, folks, if you really want a giant pout, you're going to have to resort to some pretty nasty ingredients or injectables. In addition to making my actual, non-scarily-enhanced lips feel lovely, it has a delicious feeling, yummy taste, and is highly moisturizing. Put on just a tad for hot & humid, or lather it on in the cold winter months. Plus it lasts a pretty long while. Overall, a great purchase, if you're not trying to look botox laden.

Absolute HQ. I am so hooked. The plumping effect is not major but it's there and it's achieved by all natural ingredients - a huge plus for me. Excellent moisturizer as well, with a nice, subtle scent and taste; sort of a mixture of vanilla and lime. This is my secret weapon for sexy, plump, beautiful kissable lips :)

Tried a sample at Vitamin Shoppe (of all places). Medium thickness cream-like balm with no color and minimal shine. No plumping qualities noticed. In fact my bottom lip got a pinkish "stain" after application, which makes sense after I realized that I'm allergic to oranges (the first ingredient).

love this!!!! will buy more and more. i hope they never ever discontinue this. it is very moisturizing, and not sticky at all. it plumps to give a natural amount of volume, but not a lot. if you are looking for a plumper you might want to look else where, i would suggest lip venom.
ps. i love the texture of this, makes the product stick very well to the lips and easy to spread.

Like other reviewers, I bought this because I was looking for a little plumping action. I'm never sure I actually see any greater lip fullness from using lip plumpers, but I love the sensation and the tint all of those little irritants create. Unfortunately, this balm does nothing to make me feel like it's even trying to plump my lips, and I really coated it on. It's quite moisturizing and is a really good lip balm (made my lips feel healthier after a couple of applications), but that's not what I wanted. I'll avoid repeating the other reviews any further and say that I think Juice Beauty should consider merely renaming this. Lip balm junkies would probably enjoy it, and who knows how many people who want to avoid a plumper bypass this product accidentally.

Just to clarify the last review "Juice Organics" is a low cost copy of "Juice Beauty." Juice Beauty is not sold at CVS; J. Organics is. Although this isnt a typical or high cost lip plumper like lip fusion or two-faced lip injection, I truly believe it adds healthy moisture volume unlike the dramatic lip plumpers. At $14 compared to $23-36, I think this product is good price at comprable market value. It also immediately exfoliates any chappedness. Feels extremely soft and silky instantly on the lips. Probably OK to wear with gloss not lipstick I will buy it again, Great product, overall best lip balm treatment I've ever used! Way better than Kiels.

I suspect this is being discontinued, as it has been half price at CVS for quite a while. There is nothing in here that 'plumps', I think they are referring to the fact that anything that hydrates and shines your lips is going to make them look fuller. As others have said, it is an excellent balm, but unless you plan to wear it alone, it is better saved for bedtime. It is so slippery that it will melt any lipstick or liner right off your lips. Beware that when the product is new, you will squeeze the tube and get mostly oil, very little balm. I found this to be the case with both tubes I bought--I liked it much better once that excess oil was off the top. It is extremely hydrating--in fact, I did not realize how ineffective many other balms really are until I used this--put it on heavily at night, you will see a difference in the morning!

Sadly, for me, this is another dud from Juice. While I agree with the reviewer who said it has no plumping action but is a good balm, I won't give it five lippies for being a BALM when I invested in a lip PLUMPER. (Grr!) I was able to return it. On the plus side, it smells pleasantly citrusy on application.

Agree with the reviewers who say it's not good for lip plumping, but it is a great balm. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but have found it for less than half, and am happy with the purchase.

Before I bought this I read the reviews on here and took note that it doesn't do much in the way of plumping. I bought it anyway though, because I wanted a really comforting lip balm. I like it. I use it mostly before bed and wake up with really soft lips. I like the packaging too-it's a convenient tube.

I read the reviews before I purchased this product online, I found it on a website for $6 so I figured I'd give it a try.
Normally I have a bad habit of picking the dry skin off my lips - I'm not even aware I'm doing it usually, but even though I use lipstick and lip balms, I always seem to have dry skin on my lips.
Just a few minutes ago I absent-mindedly started to pick at my lips again and realized that there was no dry skin - they are smooth even though my morning lipstick is gone. They feel soft and exfoliated - so I'm loving this product!
UPDATE - I LOVE this product, I cannot go one night without putting it on before I go to sleep, I wake up and it's still there but my lips are WAY soft and I never have dry skin on them anymore. I bought a second tube to keep in my purse to use during the day, but honestly I don't really have to because my lips never feel dry anymore. SUPER

After reading the reviews here, I bought this knowing that it wasn't really a lip plumper. All that aside, it tastes great, it feels great and I love that for once a great lip balm comes in a convenient tube instead of a pot! I sleep in this almost every night. Will definitely repurchase!

This lip product has a great texture and consistency and nice fresh taste. It's very moisturizing but doesn't feel heavy, waxy or medicinal like some other lip balms. The only reason I don't give it the full 5 rating is that it doesn't do much in the way of plumping. If you're looking for a moisturizing balm, this is highly recommended!

Juice Beauty;s Lip Plumper is like a balm that comes out of a tube. It has the same texture but it is not the same consistency, as it is not solid. It smells and tastes great, and makes your lips look naturally juicy. It doesn't have a significant plumping effect, but it does make a slight differenece, especially with repeated and consistent use. I give this 4 out of 5 stars, it is a good product but it is marketed as a lip plumper when in my book, it doesn't qualify as one. It is, however, a lovely, tasty, juicy lip balm. Would repurchase if I wasn't looking for more of a plumping effect.

Juice Beauty should rename this product. It is not a temporary lip plumper like Lip Venom. Instead it contains a peptide and phospholipids, that when used 2-3X day over a period of time, can rebuild collagen and smooth lips. Also contains essential fatty acids, jojoba oil, and a pinch of glycolic acid to exfoliate lips. This is more similar to Cellular skin rx's lip plumper than DuWop's Lip Venom. As you only need a tiny bit, this tube will last quite a while. Paraben free. This does work for me. My lips look slightly fuller like and plump like when I was in my twenties. But you have to give it a couple of months of 2X daily use to see results. Update: I have gone back to Cellularskin-rx Fresh Pout Lip balm because I get better results.
