Pros: I have this in the strawberry scent. I remember my sister using this on her kids when they were younger and it made their hair smell so tasty. It makes my fine hair feel so soft and smooth. Even though it's a 2 in 1, I still use whatever conditioner I have on hand to help detangle my ends. I also find that when I use this, my hair isn't as dirty the next day unlike with other shampoos.
Cons: I have a suspicion that Suave shampoos make me breakout near the hairline. Their products tend to be strongly scented, so maybe it has something to do with the fragrance. This product also makes my hair SO SOFT that I could see some hairstyles not working out because of how silky and fine the hair becomes after this.

This stuff makes my hair smell amazing! Not to mention soft, however, it doesn't make it as soft as other brands. I am not one to use Suave because of some of the bad ingredients it has in it, but when I need cheap shampoo I like getting this. I mean, it's not like I'm going to get brain cancer from using it after I go through a couple bottles of other shampoos. I love how it doesn't burn my eyes either! I have used the Strawberry and Coconut kind.

This stuff is awful. I use it on my child's hair and questioned why her hair was so static-y. Then I ran out of my shampoo and used hers, and my hair was disgusting after it dried. Static-y, dry, and like straw.
Spend a few dollars more and get L'oreal!

Used this for YEARS, my hair was so soft. Until one year I decided to finally get a haircut and all this icky residue was coming off, and yes, I did use a clarifying shampoo often. I was so disgusted. I also noticed that after I stopped using it, my hair didn't fall out like it was doing, and in decent chunks, like 10 strands of hair each brush stroke. I was so shocked because I was like, Oh yeah! and whatnot, and I'm a believer that you don't have to buy salon shampoo, but oh my geez, never again.

I picked the Swim & Sport version of this up on a whim over the summer. I was going on vacation & would be swimming a lot, so I wanted a cheap swimmers shampoo. My hair was dry, damaged & color treated at the time. 4 months & two bottles later, and it's my HG. I've used tons of high end shampoos and conditioners (redkin all soft, macadamia oil) & none have made my hair as soft, shiny & manageable as kids shampoo has. I def recommend it!

Cheap and inexpensive, my daughter loves the smell, her hair is super fine, so I can't use any conditioners in it, or else it weighs it down, and makes her hair look dirty. I haven't had that problem when I use this shampoo on her, the packaging does suck however, drop it once, and you can expect the top to be broken, but hey for the price it doesn't really matter.

I'm a 17 year old girl and i actually use Suave Kids 2 in 1 shampoo. I curl my hair EVERYDAY without using any type of heat protectant and my hair is in good shape and healthy condition. The only thing i use in my hair is the Suave Kids shampoo, so i know it works! I also loveeeee all the different fruity smells and how it's tear free:D

My mom used to buy this for my little brother when he was younger in the blueberry scent. I loved it. I used to use it. It smells delicious and works very well. It smells like those blue candy canes taste.

ALL PROS: Work great. Smell great (they have three or four yummy scents and one for more sensitive types with almost no fragrance and no dyes.) Quite inexpensive.

I really love this(the orange-mango Smoothers version) for my daughter who is 4. She has superfine hair that gets really staticky and this really makes her hair silky and shiny and it smells so sweet long after her hair dries. It is under $2 at most places which is so cool. I loved it so much for my daughter that I tried it on myself and it's not bad. I could see how it would get a little heavy after awhile, but in a pinch it's good. I think it's a great value for the money.

My 3 year old has long, fine (but thick) super light blonde hair that is slightly wavy. I buy these all the time for her, especially since they are UBER-cheap (around $2), and they are almost always on sale at the grocery store at 3 for $5. I like to rotate the scents just so I don't get bored with them. The do a fine job of cleaning and detangling her hair, and her hair is always super soft and has a ton of shine in it after using this. I even use this to wash her face with, as it is tear-free and a lot of kids' soaps and washes give her tiny little red bumps on her cheeks...but not this one! I especially like the coconut scent. Yum.
My only complaint (if this really is one), is that it doesn't condition her hair enough to keep it from getting super static-y in the winter time. I find that putting a small dollop of my hair conditioner onto her hair after washing with the Suave 2-in-1 keeps the static pretty much at bay (since my conditioner is thicker and heavier than the one in this shampoo), and what residual static she does have, is easily controlled with a spray of Static Guard on her hairbrush.
Will continue to buy these for her!

i bought 4 of the huge bottles of this stuff with the pump dispensers to give my kids a bit more fun and variety in the shower, but have ended up using these on myself every once in a while. i must say... these are very good if my hair isn't that dirty and i'm in a rush. i don't even have to use conditioner with them... and i've got wiry coarse asian hair that normally needs conditioners and smoothing products.
i don't understand why ADULTS would give this such a bad review... when it's made for KIDS' hair. kids don't have scalps that get greasy every day, or dry/brittle ends--their hair pretty much just gets sweaty, smelly (from the sweat), and collects dust. their hair repels product build up (those spray on detanglers are loaded with silicones, yet kids can use them daily, whether they wash their hair or not).
these shampoos have detergents that are MUCH milder than what adults are used to... so we can't expect them to get our hair clean right away. not to mention, they're loaded with cationic surfactants (conditioners) and silicones... so unless you use a clarifying shampoo regularly, these will eventually stop working for your hair and will start clinging to your natural oils and naturally rough adult hair cuticles, causing build up.
these clean and condition well enough for kid's hair... and i guess the only complaint i have is that if my kids go to bed dirty, their hair smells like plastic (this doesn't happen with regular baby shampoo). i mean plastic... like... sniff a plastic bag plastic.
i'd totally buy this again... and i'd say my favorite scent is a toss up between the one in the orange bottle and the berry scented one in the light bluish purple bottle.

I have purchased this in almost all of the scents for my daughter. The 2 in 1 formula works well and detangles. All the scents are child appropriate and the tear free formula is just like the more expensive brands. Also the Wild Watermelon, smells like a Jolly Rancher. Wins points in my book.

I have purchased a couple of these in different scents and I love them. My daughters have curly hair that is just beginning to be long enough to tangle. These helps keeps the tangles away and softens their curls. I like the Dragonfruit - kind of reminds me of bubble gum. The coconut really smells good too. The scents stays for quite a while in their hair too. I don't plan on purchasing any other brand.

This is specifically for the Suave Kids "Dragonfruit" scent. I don't know what dragonfruit smells like, but if it is a cross between throw-up and rotten fruit juice, or a bathroom after too many puking sorority girls, then this shampoo smells just like it. My son told me "that smells horrible" after using it the first time and refusing to use it again, but I didn't realize how horrible he really meant until I went to "recycle" it into the handsoap dispenser-SO DISGUSTING!

I also have this in Wild Watermelon and I like it. It lathers well and rinses clean. But I do have to follow up with a conditioner on the ends or it can be drying. I can get a comb through it just fine without using conditioner, but I need the extra moisturing. Would repurchase, maybe to try out other scents. My husband likes it on his short buzzed hair as well.

I bought the Cherry Blast shampoo after being unable to find the L'Oreal Kids Cherry Almond shampoo anywhere. I was hoping they would be similar but they are not. The Suave kids shampoos are not nearly as moisturizing as L'Oreal's, and Suave's has a watery consistency that doesn't lather as well as I'd like. Worst of all, Cherry Blast has a fragrance that smells exactly like cherry kool-aid, which might be attractive to a child I suppose, but not to me. I was hoping for the more subtle, Jergens-like fragrance of L'Oreal's. Would not repurchase.

I have this in Melon, the kind for curly hair. I love the way it smells. Because my hair is curly, it's really dry. Most shampoos leave my hair frizzy even when I use them lightly. This doesn't. I still use a seperate conditioner, though. I would definitely buy it again.
