My favorite for applying bronzer, it gets just the right amount of product and applies it flawlessly. I'm so upset that Prescriptives went under, they had some really nice products.

I really can't think of anything that is wrong with this brush.
Originally I was going to buy a MAC brush, but didn't have enough money, so decided to try out Prescriptives. And I'm very glad that I did.
The only thing that I can think of that could be a con of this brush is that it doesn't work for pressed powders, which the SA said it would. But I don't mind. (I use it for blush anyways, cauase all bronzers look like dirt on my super pale face >.<)
It's just sooo soft! I look forward to using it every morning, because of how super soft it is! lol. And I've washed it soooo many times now, and it always goes back to its' original shape and never sheds.
So buy this brush. You won't regret it!

After having this brush for only about 6 months, the head fell out of the handle and all of the hairs are falling out. I am so mad because this isn't a cheap brush. I definitely won't be buying any other brushes from Prescriptives.

I bought this brush and immediately fell in love with it. The bristles are very soft and I use it to apply bronzer, blush and mineral powder. It's great because whenever I use it, my makeup never looks over done or hideous. With the way the brush is designed, you don't ever have to worry about applying too much product on your face which has happened very easily before with other non "skunk" brushes I've used. It definitely takes that stress out of my makeup routine leaving my face looking very natural.
The only downside is that I've only had this brush for about a year and already the head has gotten wobbly. I do clean it very carefully and lay it over the sink to dry, but I just think the overall quality is somewhat lacking. I've had my BB and TM brushes for a longer period of time and they're still in great shape.

This brush was listed in Allure Best of Beauty issue as the best Powder/Bronzer brush for 2008. As I was looking for a good powder brush I decided to give this a try. As stated in the magazine review, the brush is excellent at picking up powder and spreading it evenly. My old brush is from Laura Mercier and I always had the problem that it did not pick up enough product and it did cause caking due to me having to do multiple applications.

This is also an excellent brush for blending as it is designed as a skunk. I also use it for bronzer and highlighters. The bristles are very soft and it does not irritate my skin the way MAC brushes have done in the past.

All in all this one deserves the 5 lippies and more.

I use this brush everyday to apply my bronzer and to blend my blush. It picks up the perfect amount of color. I never have to worry about overdoing it with my bronzer when I use this brush.

I love this brush.

It's not as dense as 187, and it has a bigger head, but I consider those to be positives. I can do everything: liquid foundation, powder, bronzer, blush, and highlight.

It's only a little too big for the mouth area, and it needed some regluing.

This is I guess my very first high-end bronzer/buffer brush purchase and I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and splurge on this. I wasn't planning on buying a brush or even a new bronzer/blush from them (see my review for the Pressed Powder Leaves), just some new foundation but the amazing SA did my whole face using the aforementioned products and my face never looked better!! I have oily/blemished skin (with some dry areas as well) so I always have to use products that are oil-free, which unfortunately can give you a dull and flaky look due to the high mattifying ingredients. It also doesn't help matters that I have to use medium to full coverage foundations to cover all the problems on my skin. But, that all changes with the help of this amazing brush! After you apply your foundation and powder, you just buff your face with this brush using circulation motions and it really makes a world of a difference. It doesn't absorb the foundation like most brushes do so your face won't look sheer, just perfect. Your face just looks better because everything is buffed out and looks settled in a way that can never be achieved just by putting foundation on with your fingers or a foundation brush. I also use this to apply bronzer/blush and it works really well for this task as well. Plus, it's super soft and feels dream-like on your face. The price tag of $32 is a little steep to say the least but I'm glad I bought it because it's such a good investment. I definitely recommend this for girls whose face looks dull and somewhat caked on with foundation. Awesome brush!!

This must be the softest brush I've ever used. I look forward to putting this against my face every morning I apply make up, its just so soft against my cheeks. I used this to apply my blusher and it does the job well. The only complain is that its a tad too big for my cheeks but I still love it all the same. Unlike previous reviews, my brush doesn't shed. Definitely will repurchase!!

Great brush for applying a sheer dusting of setting powder, bronzer or powdered foundation. The bristles are not quite as densely-packed as the infamous MAC #187 brush, but are just as soft and feathery. In this case, the slightly "floppier" quality is a good thing, since I was looking for sheer coverage (if I want dense, I use my kabuki brush). Has not really shed much at all and seems to hold up well to washing. Aesthetically, the brush is pleasing. Kind of expensive, but a quality brush overall.

I bought this brush in a set with the Pressed Powder Leaves. It was really great for lightly applying the product and not disturbing the foundation underneath, if that makes sense. Sometimes brushes "pull off" foundation from my nose when I apply powder or bronzer. Anyway, I was very pleased with the brush overall UNTIL I washed it. I was very careful and used a gentle shampoo (that's what I use to clean my BE brushes) and rinsed carefully, shook it out and laid it on a clean white towel. Well, the darn thing shed it's bristles and left an ugly black spot where the dye bled. Ugh! Now it isn't even close to the same! I agree with a previous poster, this brush is junk! I won't purchase a brush from Px again.

This brush is very dense - I have the Flirt & EOB versions of thise and it's at least 3x as dense.

That said it picks up alot more product than I'm used to and over did it on the blush - I think this is be better for foundation or bronzer as it's designed.

Would I buy again NO it's an expensive brush when there are adequate alteratives in my opinion.

I know I'm in the minority here, but this brush sucks. I've used it about four times & washed it twice. The bristles fell out of the damn handle!!!! I wouldn't be angry if I hadn't spent like $40 on this thing. I know I washed it well, because I used a gentle cleanser, then placed it on it's side, so the water wouldn't break up the glue. I bought a Sephora stippling brush in place of this. I just can't rec it for that fact alone :(

I ADORE this brush. It's much better than MAC's 187. I used to have I really hard time applying bronzer before this brush, it goes so soft and evenly, even bad bronzer looks better with this brush.
I found mine at my CCO (Seattle) so it was quite cheap . I plan on buying another one in the future.

Awesome bronzer brush. Applies evenly and lightly, never streaky. Love the look of it on my vanity too! I also use Prescripives blush brush, concealer brush and foundation brush. All excellent quality . . . no shedding and last forever.

Ok. So I've only used this once so far, but I found it to be amazing! I have been spending waaaay too much money on brushes, trying to find out something that I like, and I bought this sight-unseen on Nordstrom.com for $32. I have been searching for a soft, full-but flexible, high quality brush for light application of bronzer, highlighter, and face powder. So far I have been disappointed by Trish McEvoy #5 (thought it would be the best, but not flexible enough and sheds terribly), Bare Escentuals face brush (Yuck! coarse, wirey, scratchy & sheds), Stila (too course and scratchy), and Nars Bronzer brush (too hard and dense, picks up too much product and does not apply evenly) to name a few. This "skunk" brush picks up a fine amount of product, easily visible on the white bristle ends. The bristles are luxuriously soft and flexible and feel silky on my sensitive skin. Today it applied my bronzer evenly and flawlessly. Now if it only washes up well and doesn't shed, I'll be in business!! So far Prescriptives brushes are living up to their reputation IMHO
EDIT: okay I had two of these and they both fell apart in the exact same fashion. The whole head of the brush came out of the handle in one massive plug! I know they weren't from the same "bad" batch, and I know I'm very careful about how I clean my brushes. I was able to return one, and I fixed the other with gorilla glue. The one I fixed is working well, but come on. This should not have happened with an HE brush. I now prefer my MAC skunk.

I love this brush. This is one brush I reach for almost daily.

I use it to apply blushes and bronzers or even highlighters, its great. Decently priced as well, soft, easy to take of and it works!

This is the most dense "skunk" brush I have used, from low end to high end, I had been using the lancome brush and this does not compare, the Lancome seems like a Wal-Mart brand compared to it.

Mine has barely shed and applies all my products beautifully, I cant live without it. It's a HG for me. I will replace it if it meets a tragic end.

What I like about this brush is it doesn't apply my bronzer too dark. It picks up a good amount of pigment but for some reason, it comes on your face really sheer. I don't think it's the bronzer because I've used it with my Prescriptives Bronzing Trio in medium and my Sugar Tropic Tan Blush/Bronzer Duo, and you know that stuff ain't sheer. It's not my skin either because I'm not that dark. When I use it with my Prescriptives bronzer, I have to layer it a lot, but I guess that's better than getting it on too dark and then having to wipe it down or something. I see that people also use this brush for blush. I've tried that, but it's just too big to be used for blush IMO. Overall, it's a very good bronzer brush. It gives you a very even application, and the brush is soft and fluffy. I would buy this again if I happen to lose mine or something. (I got it off of Ebay for $22 including shipping. I don't think I would buy this at regular price, but that's because I can find a lot of the brushes I want on Ebay.)
