Oh so gorgeous. A pale rose with silver shimmer - really makes my lips gleam and glow. Wish I would have stocked up on this as it was a LE.

DDD NW45 or HIP#818.....Received this in a swap. On me, it's pale rose frost with lots of pink & silver sparkles. Which works for me. I love sparkles. Very pretty over a dark brown liner or over l/s. Thick, creamy texture. Nice shine too. My 1st MAC l/g.

This is one of my very most favorite lipglasses. I wear it and Pink Clash like... twenty times as often as all the (many) others I own. The extra dose of shimmer that this color has is gorgeous (and Pink Clash has it too, come to think of it). The soft neutral pink is lovely. I like that the shimmer is silver, too. It goes with everything really. It's a total no-brainer gloss, a staple if ever there was one. I've always enjoyed the lipglass formula- sticky, long lasting, well pigmented. It just is hard to find shades I like. This one I've stocked up on.

Netural pink with shimmer, a very pretty MLBB shade on me. Not frosty at all. The gold cap is a nice touch, it sets it apart from the regular black caps.

I love love LOVE this and I'm so sad that it's LE. Beautiful neutral-pink with gold shimmer. Great vanilla taste and smell. Also love the gold cap instead of the regular black.

Great color, sort of shimmery pale rose with tiny glitters, makes my lips pouty, long wear (for a gloss) but thick. I love it but wont repurchase, since I have already many gloss waiting for me...

Dusk was so disapointing on me. I am LLL/blue eyes/light brown hair. In the tube it is a gorgeous mauvey medium pink shade with tons of shimmer. But on my pigmented lips, this barely showed up. It looked like I had clear gloss on with tons of shimmer. For some reason, this sponge applicator didn't pick up as much gloss on it as other MAC glosses do. I think this would look great on girls that do not have super pigmented lips like me :(

Super-pretty pink. It's a somewhat toned down, silvery/pearl mauve-pink with a touch of gold. It reminds me a bit of Rayothon from last year's Belle Azure collection, which isn't a bad thing at all. It looks quite different in the tube, though both are frosty, iridiscent sparkly pinks - Rayothon being a bit milkier, bright Barbie pink, while this is slightly more sheer, MLBB-shimmery-pink. Although it is LE, it doesn't bother me - it's not a terribly unique color and MAC puts out a similar one every year or so anyway. As a related tangent, I'm really loving the Catherine Deneuve collection.

This is such a gorgeous shimmery and glowy lip gloss. I would describe it as a light but not pale mauvey/plummy pink with tonnes of shimmer. It makes lips look sensational - shiny as with all Lip Glasses but with extra radiance from the micro-glitter and shimmer (and the micro-glitter is very minimal - it's not loaded with it - it just lends the shimmer some extra sparkle). I would definitely buy it again if I could (as it's LE) and I ran out.

This is my favorit Lipglass! This is a light (but not too pale) shade of sheer, shimmery dusty pink with a touch of metallic in it. And I do mean *just* a touch. This gives my not-that-pigmented lips a sheer, shimmery wash of pink that is MLBB. This makes me want to try Catherine Deneuve's other colors in this collection as well! A definite repurchase for me.

Oh how beautiful! Dusk lipglass is a color that I use most often, since it compliments my skintone and liptone. In the tube, Dusk is a pearly cool pinky-mauve. On my medium pink lips, Dusk is a nice pink/mauve that has some shimmer. I think Dusk is very similar to MAC's other LE color, Damzel. However, Damzel is a medium pink/mauve without pearl. Like all make lipglasses, the consistancy is thick, but not overly sticky and has a pleasant vanilla scent. Dusk is great for a simple lip look! This is my favorite out of the Catherine Deneuve Icon Collection of lipglasses. It is a frosty, shimmery mauve-pink color infused with gold.
For reference, I'm a NC20/C2 with fairly pigmented lips. This gives me MLBB color on bare lips with a slight sheen of color and shimmer. It goes well with the Sharp Beige lipstick from the same collection. I have a pic in my pictures, for reference purposes (the camera was accurate with color for once).

This lipglass is my fave out of the Catherine Deneuve collection. I wore it today, and my husband complimented my "sexy lips" look. :o)Always a plus... anyway, Dusk is a pretty, light pink with silver sparkle. I hate glitter in lipglosses, but this one does NOT have glitter chunks- just a micro-glitter of some sort. It did not leave those little, silver, glitter pieces all over my lips after it wore off like some other lipglosses I have do. I thought it had good staying power, too. A little bit sticky (tacky?) on the lips like other MAC Lipglasses, but that is not a problem for me. Just thought I'd mention it for the ladies out there who do not like that quality in a lipgloss.

Normally, I don't like lip glosses. The whole wet lips thing doesn't do it for me. That said, I don't understand why I couldn't leave the store without this color. I tried it on the back of my hand and thought it was such a pretty color. When I got it home and put it on I was a little scared about how frosty a color pink, with TONS of shimmer, it was. I think it is a very pretty pink that's not to light or too berry. I won't wear it too often, but for people that can't live with out lip glasses this is a definite hit.

dusk is a pretty pale pink with a ton of silver sparkles -- that is why it can tend to be frosty. when applied with a light hand, this is absolutely gorgeous on the lips. i can imagine this working with any complexion. when i put it on, this instantly brightened up my complexion. however, this gloss is not original as far as the color goes. any cosmetic line has this color. i am sure you can find a cheaper alternative. however, if i ran out i would still repurchase this (if it wasn't LE) because MAC glosses are the best. Way to frosty and sparkly for me. Don't get me wrong, I like some shimmer and sparkle in my lip products, but this was too over-the-top. The pink color itself was nice, just not the glitter and frost texture. I ended up returning it.

I went back for this after trying NOT to buy it... it's a pretty, sparkly pink lipgloss - Looks good on its own or over any pencil or l/s

We of course all differ in our opinions of MAC collections. I know some people think this one is a little boring. Not me! This is my favorite collection in a while. The lipglasses, especially, are amazing. I bought 3 out of the 4 and will probably go back for last one (Elegant Peach--peaches tend to not look so great on me).
For those of us that liked Luxuriate but found that it was a little too light, this is the answer! Dusk looks just like Luxuriate IMO but pinker and darker. It differs from MAC's usual pinks in that it has iridesence instead of shimmer and it looks very pretty on. I wish I could give this a 4.5 instead of a 5, only because it's a Frost and does tend to look a tiny bit frosty on my pigmented lips. For reference, i'm NC25.
