This is the second PF bronzer that failed on me. It does not have any pigmentation whatsoever. This is going back to the store! Don't buy it!

Although I love the product, I probably won't buy it again until it is on sale. Aside from the price, the product is wonderful. There is a handy mirror under the powder, complete with a brush that barely anyone would use, and the packaging is wonderful. The plastic hinge used to lift the powder up did break, however. The powder itself gives a wonderful, natural glow to my pale skin. You can use your brush to decide how dark or light you want the color to be, which is handy in the summer when I get a slight tan. The powder isn't too shimmery and never clumps.

This is my everyday bronzer/blush. I like it because the color is very natural, a brown instead of orange! It does have a little shimmer to it but in my opinion its a perfect amount, however, I usually only use this as a blush. This is what I require from my bronzer: Natural color, only a slight amount of shimmer (just enough for a natural glow), stays on all day. This bronzer does all that! It can be difficult to get a lot of product on your brush which can result in the color to look very light. A trick I do is to use my nail to make scratches on the surface of the powder then dip my brush in and i am able to get a good amount of product on my brush. I have had good experiences with PF bronzers in general, although they do have a few that have WAY too much shimmer in them.

This has been my go-to daily face powder all sumer!! I guess I got lucky, based on the bad reviews, lol, but I love it. I'll start with what I don't like, and why i can't give it 5-stars:

(1) As mentioned by other ladies, it can be challenging to actually pick up the color. I only noticed this lately, after it's about 40% gone. And the different circles of color disappear at different rates! The light shades are practically gone, while some other sections are barely touched, and I swirl the brush all around usually.
(2) The packaging is crap. The plasic clear shield/cover is about to crack off any minute now. I appreciate the mirror and the brush, but its bulky - they could have designed it sleaker, I'm sure.
(3) It's more of a sheer pressed powder than a bronzer, if you want richer color, and more coverage, this is not for you, or you'll need to add a 'real" pressed powder over it lol.

But, I still don't know what I would do without it because:

(1) It matches my skin perfectly. I use the "Light Bronzer/Bronzer." My skin can get oily in this Houston humidty and ths powder sucks up oil on contact. For reference, I use Bobbi Brown Almond, and MAC NC45, NC43 in winter. I am dark but have yellow undertones so most makeup is just too red/orange for me and I look a hot mess. This one looks so natural on me.
(2) A little goes a long way, and the compact lasts a long time.
(3) It doesn't break me out. I am acne prone in my t-zone.
(4) It doesn't have a lot of sparkle. I don't want to twinkle, I just want a subtle glow - this has that.
(5) It does exactly what I want it to do. I don't wear much makeup daily. I usually save my HG liquid (Make Up Forever) for nights out. Daily I wear usually wear eyeliner, mascara, and maybe some Bobbi Brown concealer. This powder doesn't really cover spots or imperfections, but as a daily powder and oil absorber I love it!

:-)

I was wanting a really light bronzer for my exremly light sensitve skin. I also wanted no shimmer. I pretty much inspected every single inch of this bronzer in the store thinking it had no shimmer, but later to find out one of those circle things had glitter in it. WHY WOULD YOU RECK SUCH A GREAT BRONZER PF?!?! My hunt for a great light matte bronzer continues...

I purchased this with the intention of using it as a setting powder and contour, after seeing a positive review on Makeupgeek. Paid 11.49 at target (plus NYC 9% sales tax!) and it came with a free mosaic blusher. This product is terrible. As other reviewers have said, there is absolutely no color payoff. Even with the coarsest brush, I can barely pick up any product. The packaging is also quite bulky with excess space and a compartment underneath for the useless brush it came with. I totally regret buying it, might crush the product into loose powder so I won't have completely wasted my money.

I have very sensitive, break-out prone skin and I absolutely love this powder! I have been using it for about 2 years, and it is the only stuff I can use without beaking out. I personally like light-weight powders, I'm not into caking on makeup, and this stuff gives just enough matte to get rid of shine and even out the face without making you look cakey and unnatural. I also love how there are multiple colours, you can stick to the lighter side in the winter and move to the darker side in the summer! If you think about it, most girls' skin is not a constant colour all year round, so this product is great for those who live in extreme seasonal climates. The only thing I'm not sure about is how long it takes to spoil. It doesn't have as many preservatives as other powders so I always make sure I replace it with a new one if I feel I've had it for too long. The price is kind of painful if you are looking for something really cheap, but when it comes to your face and chemicals, it's definitely worth it (about $20 cdn). The brush that comes with it is complete crap, so invest in a brush you really love and use that instead. Also, the mirror is underneath the compact so that may seem strange if you're not used to it. All in all I highly recommend this powder for girls with sensitive skin and those who prefer a natural look.

Okay, so this is my first review on this site and all I have to say is that this product was a waste of my money. I purchased this a month ago, and I gave up on it. It comes with a brush that can't even pick up it's own product. I tried using my Essence of Beauty kabuki, but at least the bronzer's brush picked up a tiny bit... the kabuki couldn't pick up anything! I tried to scrape some powders off, so that it could be picked up by the kabuki, but only the lighter shades dusted off. The darker shades were hard and a bit creamy feeling, almost like old cheese. I'm very disappointed.

When I first used this powder I really liked it. The color was nice and it was light weight. I liked the fact that the color is adjustible (winter to summer). Also, it is NOT ORANGE, which I loved. The main reason I used it was to even out my skin tone, so I couldn't review on the coverage of blemishes, freckles, etc.. It didn't break me out or cause an allergic reaction (i have sensitive skin). It looked natural on skin; no one ever knew I wore makeup. It comes with a mirror and a little brush. The brush is pretty pathetic, but I'll have to give them credit for atleast trying.. The main and only reason I wouldn't recommend this to anyone is becasue for some reason, the product seems to dry out after just a few months. It's the strangest thing, it just dries out like I've had it for 10 years, but it's only been a couple months... So if you don't use up powder within a few months, I wouldnt reccommend it. I thought there might be something wrong with just that one, so I bought another one in a different shade, but the same thing happened, so I never went back to it. I have never experienced this problem with any other powder I have used. I have also purchased Powder Palette Multi-Colored Face Powder in a few different shades, and it did the same thing- they all dried out...

I'm too lazy to go out and try other brands, so I've stuck with this for quite a while now. Other brands I've tried either stink, sparkle or feel too thick. As the last poster said, the brush it comes with is a joke and I hate the flappy mirror that opens without me telling it to, when all I want is the makeup. Otherwise, it's lightweight, gives my makeup the finish it needs and the colour is natural looking.

Really? I'm suprised so many people dislike this stuff... I bought it as a bronzer, and I love that it has a mix of matte and irridescent "scales", since I find it hard to get a bronzer that is neither too matte (makes me look dead) or too sparkly (makes me look plastic and shiny as all get out! see: Covergirl). I like that it is buildable and sheer, since I can wear it in the dead of winter when I'm ghostly pale, and use it in the summer to amp up my tan. It is pretty expensive for a drug store brand, so it loses points for me there, and the brush they supply you with is absolute crap. But as for the makeup itself, I really like it and would def. buy this again.
p.s.to the people who were getting a weird 'film' on the surface of the powder...you need to clean your brushes, the film is oil from your face. It transers during makeup application to the bristles, then onto your powders. Gross, but easily remedied!

This is not a good bronzer but it is a good face powder and eyeshadow.
I use it as a finishing powder to tone down the shininess of my foundation. Also it's a great eyeshadow for all you neutral gals. You could mix the shades together to make the perfect tan or brown. The finish is velvety and with a little base the colors become darker and last longer. This bronzer could also be used on top of your regular eyeshadow. It softens up harsh lines and lightens the color of the eyeshadow. It's also a great highlighter for your brow bone. With all the natural shades, it works as a concealer. Make sure to use a good mosturizer underneath.

Overall, I would purchase this bronzer again but I won't use it as a bronzer. It has so many other purposes for me. It matches my skin perfectly. The packaging is a bit bulky by there's enough product to last several months. And there's a nice mirror in the bottom for touch-ups. Don't use the brush it comes with. It's not soft or practical.

The idea of this product is nice cuz you get to choose your color. It just that this bronzer is hard to get color. I probably won't buy it again. This product alone is not cheap at all as a drugstore brand, for a 16 dollar price tag I think I can get something better than this.

I agree, this product is weird.
Here's why:

First, although the idea of shade selection on one pallette is nice - for some reason the colour doesn't go on the brush. I use the POSH foundation brush. I've beeen using this for a while and I notice that the more you use it, it starts to have a film that keeps the powder coming on the brush. Weird but I scratch a layer of this off and its back to normal again.

The colour is the only thing thats decent, nice golden brown and not too orange or red. This is its only redeeming factor in my opinion or else it would be in the trash by now.

Also not a fan of the packaging because its rather bulky and the clear plastic cover dulls up after a while. The brush it comes with is no good. Bristles are made out of Plastic! and its too scratchy so I threw it out... For all this, $20 bucks is over-priced! I have an bulky compact with an ugly dulled up case cover that I have to scratch out in order to use the powder properly.

Time to get a new one? I think so!

I thought this would be some really great blush, because I've heard good things about Physicians Formula. It was not too brown, not too pink. My dream. Too bad it has no color distribution AT. ALL. I even tried putting some on a blank sheet of paper and i could see hardly nothing. (I bought "Nude/Warm Nude" and i could not see it on my very pale skin)

DONT BUY

This is overpriced crap. Like the others said below, it's really hard. Using a blush brush of my own I cannot get any of this onto the brush. It's almost like the powder has a ceramic glaze on it. Needless to say the color pay off is very low. I can't believe how expensive this is for a drugstore powder too. You'd think it would be great at this price.
