I received a generous sample of this and used it for a week. I tested it during a time when my skin was very dry and irritated. It really helped to calm my skin down. It took the redness away a bit and stopped it from feeling itchy and irriated. I didn't like the consistency though. It was far too watery. Also, I don't like that they put coloring in it...why do that???? Especially with a line that's supposed to be "natural". But overall, I can see how this would be a nice addition in times when you need that extra calming fluid before your moisturizer. I do think the camomile oil works better for calming and soothing, and reducing redness.

I agree with 'ergi'. This Intral Serum did absolutely nothing for my skin. It was too watery for my liking. I thought it was a toner at first but since it was a serum and as long as I saw results who cares right? Unfortunately, this was a total downer. For $115 Canadian (before taxes) I would have expected it to do something good for my skin. No repurchase. I will say though that it smells great but that's about it.

Improves the appearance of my skin and decreeses the redness, especially good after using some harsher anti-acne products.
I wash my face often during a day. If I put only a cream, my face will need extra mousturizing soon. Situation is much better if I had used the complex as well.

I've been using this as a base for everything and noticed a big difference on my face, texture, quality and the tone, my skin is a lot better now, I've read a review on an old magazine about this and tried it myself. This is for if you have sensitive skin, redness prone and dry almost mild rocesea.

I've only been using this for five days but I've definitely seen a difference. I have hyper-sensitive skin and with my Irish heritage should be pale but it's red due to rosacea and regular breakouts. Am using the serum followed by the moisturiser for sensitive combination skin. I only realised II'd been sold this when I got home as I usually would purchase something for dry skin but bizarrely it seems to be doing the trick. The serum leaves my skin a little too matte and taut but a small blob of the moisturiser sorts that out and then I'm free to apply my Coastal Scents MMU (the only one that's worked for my super-sensitive skin so far). Am tempted to try the Camomile oil which some people have mentioned and the balm but this stuff is EXPENSIVE - I spent £81 in Space NK on these two products alone!

I thought I'd try this serum for when my skin get's irritated which happens from time to time. I find the soothing ability of this serum pales in comparison to the Chamomile Aromatic Care oil. This serum is good, not great. I find the Arovita C Line Response Firming Serum to be more soothing than this serum. There must be something in the Intral serum that does not agree with my skin. I even prefer the Guerlain SOS Serum over this Intral one, but I'll continue to keep their Chamomile oil on hand as that stuff really works well!

My HG treatment when I feel my skin too sensitive. I have a sensitive, combination skin and a tendency to have red and irritated cheeks. I have tried lot of products but none have giving me such a fast and positive response as Intral serie from Darphin. I usually find all creams to heavy for my combination skin but this one smelts perfectly. I don't use it every day only when I feel my skin more irritated and always with the Intral cream, usually at night and just the day after you can see skin much better and in a couple of days wow! such an improvement. I think it works better if you use it with the other Intral products. It is a very soft, non-greasy gelé serum with a fantastic light scent that works inmediately, you don't need to wait several weeks to see the results.

Well! I did not want to like this. I wanted it to be an over-priced do-nothing. But I don't think it is. My prone to red skin feels a lot calmer and smoother. I love the smell. I've only been using it for a few days and I've really started to notice the difference. Feels very gentle and my sensitive skin responds well to this. It's really expensive though :( I'm not sure what it will be like when I use it over a long period of time, but so far I love it.

I bought the hydralight serum and moisturizer and they made my sensitive cheeks redder. Went back to the counter and SA recommended me to use this Intra complex together with Intral soothing gel.
Continued to use for 2 days and to my horror, rashes and more redness developed. Even the sensitive range does not work on me. Sorry to break the trend here.

I have very sensitive, rosacea, oily yet dehydrated, acne prone skin and undergoing IPL treatments with Diane 35 yet skin showed no signs of improvement. In fact after using my dermatologist expensive products, my skin broke out in bad, itchy, red rashes that I couldn't sleep and have to take steriods to calm my skin.
My first application see tiny pus filled pimples forming within hours and skin looks raw. This is how effective this complex is. Persist with this and Camomile Aromatic Care in the evening and within few days, the redness subside and all pimples are healing fast and beautifully. Siginifcant improvment within 2 weeks.
This has reduced my morning routine. Just apply this and sunscreen instead of metro gel (for rosacea), moisturiser, sunscreen. This soothes, moisturises and repair my skin. Face has pinkish blush on cheeks instead of enitre red face.
Selling at S$145 in Singapore but I was lucky to puchase at 30% disc. Will definitely buy again.

My first impression: this has Decleor's mingling of extracts and oils (good) in a propylene glycol + water base (potentially good - would draw the complex deeper into skin, though PG bothers me in mixes with silicone, sunscreen, etc). The scent is pure cotton candy, the consistency watery, and the color pink but if it works, it works. I've tested under various skin conditions - irritated rosacea in August, allergic reaction (to another product) in October, normal dry winter skin in November. in no case did the complex help. I have seen calming results before - Decleor's... sorry to keep comparing.. Rose d'Orient, Orlane's B21 serum but with Darphin, nothing. 'Nothing' at this price = 1.0 rating. update: hee, just wanted to add - Darphin struck me as an Estee Lauder takeover of Decleor (dear god, do not let this happen) what with the glycol base, hydrogenated oils, fragrance, coloring, and heavy use of preservatives in otherwise natural products -- and in fact, EL did buy out Darphin 2 yrs ago. (No idea whether formulas changed though, to be fair.) ingredients: water, propylene glycol, glycerin, alteromona ferment extract, horse chestnut extract, calendula flower extract, crataegus monogina flower extract, chamomile extract, panthenol, tocopherol, retinyl palmitate, inositol, calcium pantothenate, lineolic acid, biotin, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, butylene glycol, polyquaternium-10, PEG-35 castor oil, alcohol denat., polysorbate 20, disodium EDTA, citric acid, sodium citrate, phenoxyethanol, sodium methylparaben, methylparaben, butylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, isobutylparaben, fragrance, Red 4 (CI 14700), Violet 2 (CI 60730), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Red 33 (CI 17200), Blue 1 (CI 42090).

Another good product from Darphin! I already use the Intral Cleansing Milk and Toner regularly...and received the samples of the complex and balm during a recent visit to Neiman's. The sample of the complex was enough for about 3 days use. It goes on after the toner and before moisturizer or foundation or the balm. It's a clear (not colorless) liquid. It has a pink tinge - not sure if the pink is actually something useful or if it's just a dye to match the other Intral products. It has a pleasant smell - a little reminiscent of powder or musk. The fragrance is not floral in nature and not very much like the Intral Cleansing Milk, Toner, or Balm. Most important to note though - is how remarkable this product is...I had some red spots from a reaction with that stupid mineral foundation from another line. I had tried the stupid foundation before, but thought I would give it another go...and my skin reacted to it within one day. Yikes. Anyhow, so I get these red raw bumps. Gross. I used the Intral line (milk/toner/complex/balm) morning and night over a couple of days, and the skin reaction cleared up almost immediately. I also used the complex on its own (under makeup), and my skin continues to looks like it is healing up nicely (and also more quickly than if I left it to heal on its own). I'm hooked on so many Darphin products as it is, but I think I have a new one to add to the "wish list".

i cannot believe this stuff got such high marks!! i hate this complex. this broke out my skin so bad it took me almost a year to recover. i had to use topical steroid at the end, and i hated that. i'm forced to believe that people are being paid by darphin and putting up these fake reviews. i have very sensitive/combo skin that's acne prone during the summer.

I am an avid Darphin fan and have sensitive skin. However, I am a bit surprised to say this complex did very little for me, if anything. You are supposed to wear it underneath your Darphin moisturizer to allow the moisturizer's effectiveness to penetrate your skin more. I hope this is not a gimmick; I couldn't see any difference between using the intral complex and not using it. Will write again if there is an update.

This is a great complex, which I use at night occasionally. It is meant for sensitive skin and eventhough I m on the dry side, it still is suitable for me. It helps to calm the skin a little.
EDIT: No longer use, switched to natural/organic skincare.

This product makes my ultra dry and sensitive skin feel great. It smells amazing and it really is a pleasure to put on. It is expensive, however the salesperson at Neiman's will give generous amounts of samples before you take the plunge. This is so worth a try!
