This foundation is a little less than ok. It lives up to what it says it does, sheer coverage. I thought it would at least even out my tone, slight acne marks, or little bit of redness on my chin; nothing. All it does is provide a slightly dewy finish, so your skin is reflective in light and that's all. even from a far, the imperfections show on my face. Its way too expensive to be this bad. Some drug store foundations work better. The only thing positive to say about this is the ingredients, and it is long lasting. It does not cause breakouts, at least not from three times of wear. Will be taking it back, and never purchase it again!

In my 20's I was a big fan of MAC foundation. It seems as if over the years MAC's foundation seems more suitable for people that are going under (6 feet under that is). I was really desperate to try something new so when I saw this being advised on QVC I took a chance. It's my new fav! Laura Geller has some really awesome products. I am no longer MAC obsessed ! I love the way that this product glides on and seems to stay on all day!

I apply this with a dampened fdtn brush and like the way it spreads. It doesn't dry too fast, so you have time to work with it. It doesn't disappear during the day either. Not cakey, if you don't try to load it on, which I think too many women do.
LOVE the dispenser. Good for travel. No cap to remove.
Con: too few shades. Laura, we need something between the light and the medium.

My sister gave me a bottle of this and I've been hooked ever since. I like this foundation.... a lot. It has a silicone base, so it makes my skin look amazing. If you like tinted moisturizers, but need a little more coverage, try this. It has never given me a blemish, either.
The pump applicator is another bonus, The product stays fresh right up until the end, which I am at and am definitely going to buy more. You can sometimes find this a bit cheaper on Ebay, but even if I can't...gonna buy from QVC.
The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because it wears off around my mouth area by mid-day. Also, no SPF. It's a bit large to carry in a makeup bag, so I don't carry a spare around with me. I might just start chucking an extra bottle in my bag if I can find a spot.

I have yet to find anything wrong with this product! OK, maybe the price...and it is hard to find now that LG is no longer sold in Sephora. I was lucky to get this in a swap, and at first was hesitant at first look. In the bottle, the color looks way darker and way more pink than it really is. I got this in Light, and as an NC20, when I first saw this I was thinking NO WAY would this work. But I tried it, and it matches perfect. This has an interesting texture - almost mousse-y. It applies nicely and is smooth, and I have yet to feel like it gets greasy. This has kind of a satin finish, and I have an oily t-zone. Also, I have some dry spots and this is not caking on those spots. I use MUFE HD primer, and ELF HD powder to set this, however, I'm finding that I don't really even need my MUFE HD primer.

I really like the consistency and finish to this foundation, but it has its problems. I had to return my first one because the pump wouldn't work. Reviews elsewhere note that this is too common. My replacement has worked well so far, though.
But my major concern is that although I tend to like more yellow-based foundations and concealers, the medium here is way too yellow even for my taste. I have found that if I put a dab on my wrist and add a couple drops of water and then apply it thinly, it is less dramatically yellow, but then it is also less coverage.
My search for the perfect foundation continues.

I am 47 years old and have very oily, acne-prone skin that is also very sensitive; for many years I did not wear any makeup; I recently tried this because it is also oil free. I like it because it has buildable coverage, stays true to color, stays on well with Spacke primer and my skin is tolerating it. Packaging prevents contamination too.

I am almost finished with my bottle of this product (it's almost been a year btw) I have the light one and generally it's a good foundation. It covers my redness well and still manages to be somewhat sheer. My only qualm with this product is that it is somewhat drying and my skin is already freakishly dry to begin with. All in all a pretty good foundation.

Can't say enough good about this foundation. The coverage for me is wonderful.Lasts all day, does not rub off.It does not break me out. I really like it.
The air less pump bottle is very hard to prime to use.It took me 3 hours, finally I figured out how to get the pump to prime and use the bottle.
I use the foundation as my base, and set the foundation with my baked LG balance n brighten.

This truly is PHENOMENAL. I am crazy about this foundation, though the bottle/dispenser is a bit funky until you "get it." This goes on great with a brush or with fingers.
PROS:
- amazing, buildable coverage
- silicone-based for those with fine lines
- beautiful, natural color (I ordered Light)
- wears ALL day long (applied at 7:30 am, taken off at 11pm and it was perfect the whole time
CONS:
bottle/dispenser is awkward
Like the old commercial said, "Try it. You'll like it!"

I was pleasently surprised with this foundation. I am usually into heavy foundations but I wanted something lightweight and with good coverage and this achieved that look! The coverage is more like light to medium rather than sheer...you don't need a lot of product and it dispenses nicely. The trick is to apply this with a sponge or your fingers- not a brush because it is silicone based. I dusted Lancome powder over top and it stayed fresh all day! Didn't bother my oily skin either...would recommened.

I was really surprised to see the negative reviews. I have dry skin and use this over moisturizer, but I do need to reapply a little moisture under the eyes after application. What I like about this foundation is that it's light and gives you a lot of coverage for the little amount that you apply. I leaves your face even, without feeling like you're wearing a lot of foundation.

I personally think all Laura Geller makeup is pretty much total crap. I got a ton of it as a gift and really dislike all of it. Bad colors, bad quality, bad packaging. I ran out of foundation so tried this. The color is too light for my skin, which isn't the makeup's fault, but it's totally chalky/powdery and dry. It highlighted dry spots and made my complexion look ten times worse than it did before any makeup at all. Definitely not a fan.

Goes on very easily, great coverage. I love the ease of use and it's great on days when you want it to be done quick. People even say my skin looks fresh with it on. No real problems except that it can get a little oily as the day wears on. Just make sure to either use a oil-contolling primer, or a good setting powder! Anyway, I have problems finding f/ds that won't break me out...so far so good! I think it's cause it won't get in your pores, but lays ON your skin. I enjoy that technology! :)

I wanted to like this product, I really did. Based on the reviews I thought I had found my HG. I went into Sephora yesterday and there was a LG rep there, which I thought was great (however, I bought waay too much stuff). It goes on great, lasted OK. . a little oily by the end of the day but no biggie. Today was the first full day and my god, I am ORANGE! I have extremely oily skin and have a really hard time getting any foundation to stay on (was using BM but that stopped working too). I used Light in both foundation and powder, both seem too dark.
So. . back to my search.

Really like this foundation and I have many. I like the package with the twist up pump. Goes on smoothly and don't have to apply too much. I use Bronze and Brighten over the foundation.

I have dry skin and this foundation became chalky and settled into facial lines very quickly. I hated the way it looked so much that I went to Sephora during lunch and redid my foundation. LOVE the container it comes in.

Pro: Medium coverage, matte finish, no breakouts. Color match to
my skin okay if a bit light. I am an NC20 to NC25 and Stila
20 to 30 Watts, Becca 'tahini. And I bought the Phenomenal
in'Light'
Cons: I think this is really only good for Oily Skin women. On my
combination skin, it dries to a powdery almost masklike
finish. I find it drying and shows my few cheek wrinkles and
some below the eyey that I never even saw these wrinkles
before.
I am going to stick with my usual foundations more appropo to combination skin.

I bought this within a kit from QVC in Medium-deep which is the second darkest colour they do. I got the bottle out the prackaging, and the colour deep so to be quite a bit darker than i oringanlly thought in the bottle. I came to apply it, its very thick and dense very much like a liquid concealer. It took the tiniest amount to do my entire face. I did have to blend a little bit as the colour isnt really an exact match but thats the way i like it really. Ive just appiled this so i have no idea about staying power, it deffinatly gives coverage though but which quite a sheer dewy finish. I have matted it down with BE mineral foundation as it looks really good so far. will edit after second use x

I had been using MAC Studio Fix and Clinique Perfectly Real Foundation. They don't have the same dewy finish that this one has. The coverage is medium and it doesn't seem to accentuate fine lines. It's buildable so I've been able to put more in the areas that need it. I have a few dark spots on my chin from some old blemishes. This stuff covers them quite well. My skin is oily and so far it seems to control the oil pretty well. I'm also using the Laura Geller Matte Maker oil control powder. As long as this doesn't end up breaking me out, it will remain my HG.
UPDATE: Started using the Cover FX line and love it. Laura Geller is no longer my HG but is a very good back up foundation. I still recommend it but think that Cover FX is superior.
UPDATE: Since my skin has become more balanced and less oily, this looks chalky and ashy on me. I'm taking off one lippie.
UPDATE: Just moved from LA to Dallas and my skin seems to have changed a bit. This looks very nice, provides excellent coverage, controls the oil on my sometimes disastrous-looking chin, and doesn't irritate at all. I'm adding another lippie. I think my skin is fickle and likes a change every now and then.
