I got this product for 50% off. At first, I was really excited and happy to have got it (especially for the price I paid). This stuff smells amazing....in the bottle. I noticed when I put it on my dry hair, it took a bit to soak in, and once dry smelled like old milk. Also, wasn't a fan of all the sparkles it left behind on my skin. Because I'm always on the go and use products in my car, I can't always wash my hands immediately. However, once the product soaked in my hair, I did notice it was sooooo soft. My hair stayed nice and straight as well. It's a great product. I really want to hate it, but I can't. The smell still bothers me, and so does all the sparkles... But who can't look past that for a product that does what it says!?

Bought this yesterday after reading so many good reviews. My hair is naturally very shiny and voluminous. The only product I use in it is after straightening to tame fly away hairs on top of my head due to extreme heat of the straightener, as well as to add texture and to reduce staticy hair. So far I haven't noticed a difference. I still have hope in this product so I will keep using it and update. I have used it twice so far both on dry hair. As for the packaging it's not practical. I will probably have to saw open the bottle in order to get the product out of the narrow end. Dont like the smell, it's very childish but can learn to live with it if this product ends up working on my hair in the future.

This is such a great hair product, smells delicious and gives hair a gorgeous shine, I also find for me it adds texture through the length of my fine hair. I find I can never use too much of this product unlike serums, and use it on wet or dry hair for different effects.

i would repurchase this product. i have actually bought 2 from ebay for the price of one, and i am glad i did because it is a great product.
it does smell like strawberries, and when put into my dry hair, does make it alot softer with the right amount of shimmer. It really does smooth (better than other smoothing products like redken smooth down treatment and matric biolage smoothing cream)
my hair and tames frizzyness. i have wavy brown hair that is very long. i find this also seals my cuticles and when i curl my hair, adds a nice shine!
the packaging tends to annoy me, the bottle is hard to squeeze and i can tell if i drop it, the lid may crack or even break off.
i reccommend this product to anyone who wants to tame frizz and have softer more manageble hair

Love, Love! This product is my hair crutch. I've already repurchased. The smell is so lovely, a sweet Strawberry. The glitter just adds to the amazingness, I love that it is noticable in the sunlight. I have very dry course hair that I am constantly coloring and pulling straight. I use this in my hair wet and dry. It's a noticable difference if I don't use it. Makes my hair managable, soft, frizz free and never weighed down. Because of how awful my hair is I have to use quite a bit, but bottle still lasts me months. Don't care for the bottle, I feel it robs you of more product.

I love this - it's the only shine product that actually seems to make my hair truly shinier. The mica in it shows up subtly but noticeably in my straight, dark brown hair.
It has a lovely strawberry scent, I certainly don't agree with one of the other reviewers that it has an ammonia smell...
My last bottle, however, cracked when I was halfway through it, and I had to throw it away because the product was drying up and spoiling. Don't know if that was my fault, or if the bottle is just bad...
It seems to last forever, but I don't use it every day. All I know is that I love it, it has a great smell and a great effect, it doesn't make my hair greasy, and the shine is noticeable.

I loooove this cream! It has shimmer particles in it, which kept me from buying it for too long time! But they aren't visible at all, perhaps only on your hands. It smoothens ans softens and adds shine to my hair. I've got thick, frizzy hair. I've tried the moisturizing serum of S-Factor, which I think is lighter than the Smoothing lusterizer, by the way. I hope this review helped you!

This product is absolutely AMAZING! I use it as a blowdry lotion and the results are great, silky soft and shiny hair, just what i was looking for. It's even better because it smells like strawberries and cream too. I know it costs quite a lot of money in the US but in the uk its not that pricey, i'm definitely going to be repurchasing this product :)

Who can say no to beautiful shiny, smooth hair?!
This S Factor line is purely AMAZING.
It's worth the price, take a splurge on it because you only use a little at a time.

So gooood! It has little shine crystals that make hair shimmer! They don't show UNLESS you pile on the product in one spot like some dumb people do. A little is enough. Like a dime to quarter size. It's meant for " Medium to thick" hair according to there website. So for thin hair use Silky Smooth! Just as good! This product is like 30 dollars but so worth the end result!

I am in love with this!(and the whole s factor line in general)
Really softens my thick hair and the glitter in it doesnt even show up afterwards, but it does make my hair nice and shiney, not oily looking. Good at controlling my frizzies too
Expensive, but a definite repurchase

I love bounce, body and shine to my normally fine and limp hair. A friend gave me this and I thought I would hate it as anything like this I have tried before made my hair look greasy or weighed it down....me and hair serums dont go,...but this doesnt have that effect at all. It leaves my hair with a beautiful shimmer and soft and bouncy..it doesnt give body or volume (I use another product for that) but it tames fly away ends and gives dull hair the look of healthy lusture. I used mine every 2 days (10p size squirt) and it lasted about 6 months.

This product has good frizz control, and leaves my hair soft. But, it spoils faster than other products, and has a very strong lingering amonia smell on hair, shortly after the bottle has been open. It doesn't last nearly as long as the little expiration icon suggests before the odor gets weird.

First of all, I have to say that the bottle looks completely ridiculous. It's quite sturdy, though, the flip top hasn't broken and I've been using it for quite a while now. The product itself really works for me. I have thick, wavy, dyed hair that's sometimes tough to manage.
I use it on damp hair before blow drying it. I can't say that it does amazing things to my hair, but it does make it better to handle. Doesn't make it limp or dirty, so the formula is perfect for me. I can imagine that people with thinner hair may find it slightly flattening or too thick for them. It has glitter, which may look like a lot when you squirt it in your hand, but honestly, it's so fine and unnoticeable unless you take a really close look that it doesn't look cheap or tacky. However, every time after using it in the morning I still find some glittery particles on my hands in the evening.
It smells very sweet, and not bad at all, but it is very strong so some people might find it a bit overpowering. Even I do, at times, and I'm used to strong smells in hair products, believe me.
Will buy again.

Love it. Absolutely love it. First off I have fine (but lots of it) dry, dyed hair that reaches the middle of my back. I blow dry and flat iron 3-4 times a week. This is normally expensive, but I get my S-Factor products for a GREAT price online, and with all S-Factor products, a little goes a long long way so its works out cheaper in the long run.
Ive been using this in conjunction with the Tigi S Factor Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner and this is my finishing touch. I apply a small amount (like 3 pea sizes) before I blowdry and then I flat iron and apply a pea size amount afterwards. I liken it to make up, except for hair, because the result I get is shiny, tamed, luscious looking hair thats bouncy and beautiful....and that is sooo not what my hair is like without it lol
The glitterry particles in it doesnt really show up in my dark brown hair too obviously, but makes my hair shine like never before. And like with most others....I LOVE THE SMELL!!! Makes my hair smell like Strawberries and Cream.
Love it love it love it.

This smoothing "lusterizer" smells absolutely heavenly, exactly like Yoplait's strawberry yogurt as some other reviewers have pointed out. To be honest, the smell is my favorite thing about this product.
It works just fine--makes my hair smoother and softer than normal, but not exceptionally so, which is why I gave it four lippies instead of five. It does have sparkles in the product itself but on my hair it definitely doesn't show up, which is a relief. It's good as a hair softener and it makes my hair smell really pretty and yummy, but it's not absolutely amazing, and for $30 I don't think I'll repurchase.

I got this in hopes that it would tame my curly hair when it was frizzy.
I wish it could have done something for me but i disliked everything about it.
This formula smells like candy over powering the sent of my favorite shampoo/conditioner. It has hints of glitter in it that just doesnt go well. & last but not least it is sooo difficult to even get any out in the first place with out pressing the bottle really hard.
Now, other than the sent, looks and bottle design..the formula itself didnt work on my hair it just made it sad and limp and dirty. Not to mention the price tag on this 6.76 oz...$28 stinky bucks!
It's a no no for me.

yuck! What is this? finishing cream? blow dry lotion? leave in conditioner or what?
I use it as a finishing creme after styling to flatten fly aways. I don't know if this is what its supposed to be used for because Ive tried every other way to use this and the results were disappointing.
It makes my hair feel and look dirty. Some people say the sparkles dont show but yes they do. I work in a boutique with strong, bright lights and it makes my hair look like ive been fixing cars and cleaning my hands on my hair.. OILY and DUSTY! those sparkly things look like dust or dandruff. Even without the strong light shining onto it, my hair just looks like it needs a wash.
Will not spend my money on this again.

My hairdresser used this on my hair and I had to purchase it! It smells like strawberry heaven. It also has a sparkling quality to it when you squeeze some onto your hand. The luster makes your hair shine and it is the first step to a perfect blow out. I love this. It has replaced my CHI defrizzer.
