Leaves my skin so soft, smooth, and fresh looking! It really covers my redness and can be a great stand alone powder foundation. I have also used this as a finishing powder on top of my liquid foundation. The compact is super cute in the classic Clinique marble green with a separate compartment for the sponge applicator. One of the best powder foundations I have ever used!

I like this compact for the following reasons:
- very cute packaging- vintagy green stone looking, and comes with a good sponge to apply
- looks very natural on- medium light converage
- easy to blend

I don't like this compact because:
- shade 108 that I bought is a bit yellow, but the lighter shade is too light
- looks kind of oily after a few hours
- doesn't hide redness on the cheeks very well
- staying power could be better, but it is not too bad.

overall, this is a pretty good compact for sensitive skin, and is definately worth buying this over a drugstore powder foundation, imo.

I LOVE this product. I've never been one for the cakey look and feel of foundation and this powder gives me just the right amount of cover without looking like I have anything on. I use this with a kabuki brush making it quick to apply and gives it an even more natural look and feel.

I still get oily in the tzone after, irregardless of what I use but that's where blotting and blot powder comes in.

This has been my go to finishing powder for years now in shade 02. It always looks completely natural, even over my nose which is prone to blackheads. Looks great and works in both summer and winter. I use it alone just for trips to the store, or bank and goes on so nicely without a base. I have very very serious issues with dark circles under my eyes and it covers them when used alone, which is a BIG plus to me. Never drying and I tend to have dry skin. Plus I love the classic Clinique green compact in my makeup bag.

This is a very smooth, non-cakey, natural looking powder. The reason I love this powder so much is because it can be layered without looking cakey in the slightest. I would much rather have too little foundation/powder on than too much, and this product never looks like you have too much on. It sets makeup wonderfully, leaves a natural-matte finish, is great for sensitive skin, and has light coverage. I couldn't imagine using this alone for coverage as it has very little, but over any foundation, i think it would look great. I use this with the new clinique stay-matte liquid foundation, and it's a pretty great combination !

I come back to this foundation when I'm feeling a bit oily or want a long wearing medium coverage foundation. Because it is a med-full coverage I don't use a TM or anything underneath because I get that heavy, pore crater looking effect. By itself its perfect! Top it with a spot concealer here and there, and the clinique translucent finishing powder and its set for the whole day! Initally it starts out looking a little dry but within a few minutes my face oils blend with it to look more like my skin. I love the seperate compartment for the sponge for touch ups. Since is has oil soaking properties it may develop small bumps on the compact. Its happened to the few i've owned. It doesnt change the wear, if it bothers you lightly scrape it off with a Qtip. Just proves to me its working :) The Shade range is amazing for clinique, I feel like nearly everyone can find a close match. For me 102N is nearly perfect! (i wear neutral fair in almost powder) Ive had it for 6 months and hardly a dent in it. Thankfully I dont have to reapply during the day so that may make a difference in longevity for me. I feel like this powder is very underrated being around for so long. I have normal/combo skin. For the more oily gals it would be worth a look at. If this doesnt work for you try the superbalanced powder in the grinder. It is similar but with spf.

I like this product but think they should make a shade a little darker than shade 148, which is the darkest shade it comes in. It doesn't look bad but I have to make sure I blend it well so I don't look like a ghost which can be a pain when you're on the run and just want a quick touch-up. For reference, i consider myself to have mocha/ebony skin.

I'm very happy with this product - is it a full coverage foundation? No. I wear this on my "no makeup" makeup days ;D I also used it several times to set my liquid foundation for the "very made up look" :) For reference, I'm 30yrs old, have fair, warm/neutral, oily skin. The shade 102(n) is nearly a perfect match for me. I also like that this product doesn't break me out (which is a major plus for any foundation/powder in my opinion) It's not a gem at controlling oil, but I use MUFE HD powder overtop of practically everything that goes on my face to get that "poreless/matte look", so that's not a huge deal :) I also LOVE that the puff/sponge can be stored underneath the product itself - Being clog/acne prone, I HATE when I have to keep sitting my sponge back on top of my powders, I feel like it's "tainting" the product or something Lol! &I go through sponges 10x faster when products are made like that, as opposed to when they're made like this :) I do plan to repurchase Clinique Perfectly Real Powder foundation and highly recommend.

This product leaves a really nice, smooth finish when you first put it on and seems to do a good job at controlling shine. However, within a couple of hours, the oil breaks through and I have to keep reapplying. I have been looking for a powder that I can use as a setting powder to help control my oiliness for the majority of the day. Although this looks nice initially, the staying power doesn't last. Returning it.

The case is so pretty! its like a jade color compact, and the box has the clinique flowers all over its really pretty. The product i think is amazing, what i really like about this stuff is how it comes out in pictures, perfectly natural! All my other foundations look white on pictures, or dont cover well but this stuff does the trick. Feels silky and smooth almost feels like nothing. It controls oil very well, just in all good product.

I will say I rarely buy foundations twice, this one I have bought three times. It lasts me about 6 months. Yes, it is a little pricey, but for how long it lasts it's not at all. I use it on top of a liquid if I need more coverage. Or I just use alone. Very light and non-cakey. And for me, found a perfect match! Didn't break me out at all and can touch up all day with.

I have very oily skin. This product does not cover well at all. The only good thing that can be said is the packaging is great -the sponge is kept away from the product, which is nice for oily skin as it will not contaminate the product itself. It does nothing for shine for my oily skin.

Clinique Perfectly Real was my first high end foundation. This foundation claims to make your skin look perfect but natural looking at the same time. I completely agree with that claim. While I do not agree its a full coverage foundation, it can be built from medium coverage to a fuller one. It does not cover acne marks and blemishes completely, so make sure to use a concealer underneath. I love this foundation because you can really build it up and it gives you this beautiful airbrush effect like your skin belongs to a supermodel without look cakey or made up looking. It really looks like you were born with perfect skin:). Clinique has a wide of shades that goes from light to dark, so I'm sure anyone can find a close match. My main and only problem with this foundation is that not only does it not last a great deal of time, but that it does not keep me matte for long. It gives a nice matte effect at the beginning but 2.5 hours in, my skin will start to get a serious build up of oil, which I cannot stand. I have to blot throughout the day or my forehead will look like a grease pit. I'm using MUFE Duo Mat now, and while I do love how it keeps me matte for hours, I still love my Perfectly Real because it gives me the skin of model without it looking like I'm wearing pounds of makeup to achieve the effect.

This has been my go-to pressed powder compact for almost 5 years now. It used to come in a cute light seafoam green packaging, but the one I have recently is more of a marble light-dark green, which I must say looks lovely as well!
I apply it normally with my E.L.F foundation brush for a lighter coverage build and it gives my foundation a nice, satin finish. If I choose to build my foundation to cover up some minor imperfections, I use E.L.F's kabuki brush to buff it in a bit more.
The only con is it doesn't stay on quite as long as I'd like and does not really aid in reducing shine. All in all, it works pretty well and I have recommended it to friends who love it as well!

This would be a fine foundation on it's own if you have pretty good skin, and don't need much additional coverage. However I don't find it covers well enough for me to use it on it's own, BUT, using this on top of a tinted moisturizer is AWESOME. I use Aveeno Tinted Moisturizer, FYI. Because my skin can get oily around my nose, it's tricky to use regular foundation and powder. I need powder because the foundation tends to disappear around my nose, but the additional product tends to make the oiliness worse. I find the TM plus this product is the ideal combination for me and because the Aveeno provides some coverage, and this provides some coverage, together they give me enough coverage and concealer takes care of the rest. I don't know if just works well because the Aveeno happens to be a TM that has more coverage than most, but they do work brilliantly together. I do not need any touch ups when I set my TM with this in the morning. I will also use this to set my regular foundation during winter, and again I never need any touch ups. I find that works better in winter when my skin is less oily.

I really love this powder! It gives me medium coverage, but it can be built to full coverage. I use to use many drugstore foundations when I first started using makeup and they were not good for my skin. That is until I recently went to my local Belk's store and purchased a higher end powder. And this is the best powder for me, you can wear it alone with just concealer or set it with your favorite foundation. This is super blendable, evens your skin tone, and lasts a long time! I recommend!xoxo

This is my favorite powder foundation. It gives a lot of coverage with looking cakey. I previously used Mac Studio Fix powder and my skins always breaks out on it. Clinique is perfect if you are prone to getting clogged pores.

it also matches my olive skin perfectly. packaging is typical, green and plastic. would definitely repurchase.

Let me start off with my skin type. Dry/Combo, acne prone, sensitive. I am also allergic to Chemical SS. It has been so humis and hot this month that my skin would burn and itch everytime I would prespire with my usual HG Clinique Almost Powder Make Up. I went to the Clinique counter and the SA recommended the Perfectly real Foundation, but I asked her to please color match me to the Compact version. I hate liquid foundations. I got the perfect color match and I am so happy because when I prespire I don't get that burning sensation or the itchiness. The SA also mentioned that some Mineral Make up do have irritating ingredients and although in general they are pretty great,,some people can have adverse reactions to it, especially during persperation. I am sold. Clinique make up has always made my skin look natural and flawless. I always get stopped and asked what I do to get flawless skin. I know Clinique is not the price of drugstore products, but this stuff lasts me 6 months. $24.00 every 6 months really isn't that bad.
