Soft and smudges nicely. In my opinion almost all eyeliners are the same so I like the price for this product. Has a large range of colors but I stick with black or gray.

A bit smudgy but good for a dark, smoky eye. I love kohl liners and this one is inexpensive and works as well as more expensive brands.

This is great for lining your upper eye, but NOT for lining under your eyes like I do or your waterline.
I got this pencil in black and brown. I use the black one for above my eyes and the brown one for under my eyes, but I'm thinking about giving the brown one to my younger sister and buy a more expensive long lasting pencil for under my eyes.

The colors are great though and it goes on very easily.

So i'm very in the middle with this. for your upper eye lashes it's a YES YES YES
for under your eyes it's a NO NO NO

I really like these eyeliners! For the price I think they work pretty well and stay on the waterline way longer than I would have expected! They also are very soft and don't irritate my eyes. Only problem is the tips ten to break off easily, especially when sharpening.

I stole this from my mom. ^-^ I loved it, so I picked it up on drugstore.com for really cheap. I got the black and white. They both last all day for me, although I just use the white one for an eyeshadow base and an inner corner highlight. I put it on my waterline and it doesn't last for very long. I use the black on my lower lashline, and waterline if I'm going for a raccoon-eyes look. Very creamy, although they do break so you have to dull them out. For the price, amazing product!

As soon as I tried to apply it (it comes sharpened) the tip completely broke off. So I tried to sharpen it, and it's really hard to sharpen to a point without it breaking.

The colors available for this kohl pencil are a good range.
I am hesitant to apply the pencil at the waterline again, as it made my eyes slightly itchy. Also, it does not brighten the eyes like natural kohl does. Overall, it causes a rather dull effect.
The kohl tip can not be sharpened easily. It breaks.

Yes, overall it does serve the basic purpose of creating some color around the eyes. I'd rather prefer the natural kohl product and wish it were available in other shades.

This is a makeup bag essential for me. It's the best basic eyeliner, and I love smudging it on my top lash line for a natural smoky finish. I add it on the bottom of my eyes and in my water lines for a more dramatic look. Also a perfect beginners eyeliner!

Was looking for an easy to use water liner. So easy to use, good for a beginner like me. Shows up well. Doesn't irritate my eyes noticeably.

I now use this for my eyebrow pencil, alongside the brown one, to give depth and shading. i love this, its soft, doesnt smudge AND lasts for ages, unlike the benefit brow pencil which is SO soft that the pencil lasts about 2-3 weeks if that!!!
Love this, one of about two products of theirs that i do like!!!!

It's a nice pigmented color, but it smudges like crazy after two hours or so. Will not buy again.

Great for waterline and tightline. I have it in brown and it barely smudges at all even in hot weather. I have always been a fan of Rimmel's eyeliners and I would definitely buy it again.

I have this in jet black. I bought it for $3.12at Walmart. It stays on throughout the day. However there has been fading and minimal smudging under the eyes. I think the finish is creamy going on an it does set. This is a mediocre pencil for me and I think there are far better quality eyeliners in the drugstore. The search continues.

I wanted a kohl pencil to use on my waterliner and tried this randomly
Price: ~$5 CAD
Pkg: traditional pencil
Colour: (061 Jet Black) soft black
Pigmentation: full
Texture: super soft and smooth
Stays on my waterline for the entire day. It's really soft so that u can smoke it out along the upper lash line for a quick smokey eye. Also ok to use as a brow pencil.

I always have this product in my make up bag!
Even though my eyes are small and they become very watery, this eye liner is the only one I have tried that doesnt irritate them in the slightest.
Its only around £3 from Boots -- AMAZING !!

Advantages: I get the Jet Black colour, it actually is this colour - as normally eye liner tends to look grey or browner when applied to the eyes. It just goes on very easily and doesnt take a long time to line the waterline at all!

Disadvantages: I know I have very watery eyes, it DOES NOT stay on for very long at all ! It rubs off and sets just under my bottom eye lashes which can look like I still have last nights make up on :-/

Recommendations:
If you have quite small eyes like me then bottom eye liner just makes them look even smaller as your bringing your eyes closer. At night, I tend to put this eye liner in the very corners of my eyes quite harshly and then fade out until the middle, this makes the eyes appear wider.
I wouldnt use this product as a top eye liner as it can look faded and doesnt always stay on.
Can be used for sensitive eyes as its not harsh at all!!

Hope I helped. x

I have sensitive eyes and have had a really hard time finding a pencil for the waterline that doesn't disappear in an hour, or make my eyes hate me. All the "liquid" or waterproof pencils I have tried either burn, or feel like I have vaseline in my eyes. This one does neither. It is comfortable to wear, easy to apply, comes in several colors, and stays for a long time. I only wish it came in more neutrals, a taupe, dark brown, or cream would be wonderful.

For a $4 drugstore pencil liner, I have to give Rimmel its due--this is pretty good. It glides on easily, is a pretty color (I have the purple one), and seems rather foolproof! And the price point allows you to buy about four pencils in different colors for the price of one MAC or UD. Not bad at all.

That is the only eyeliner that is good for my Asian eyes, this does not smudge, but needs reapplying every 6 hours or so!!

I have this in two colors, purple and black. At first, I liked my black eyeliner, so I bought the purple one... but I was so disappointed. In the few times ive used it, the purple pencil's lead broke twice while I was applying eyeline, making me jab the sharp wooden edge into my eye. This was my first pencil eyeliner when I first started out with make up, so I liked it at first but for m this is hard to applicate and it irritates my eyes and the color doesjt even stay on.

I used this eyeliner back in the day. I had it in jet black. This is cheap & you can get it at walmart. I used this when I was younger (before really knowing about make up). For as cheap as this is, I still keep one of these in my makeup bag for back up, just in case. I don't use this as my usual eyeliner, because the staying power isn't that good. But, for the price it's not as bad as I would expect. This is a great eyeliner for younger girls that don't need to be wearing a lot of makeup. The color of this isn't as intense as higher end eyeliners, which would be another reason it would be good for the younger girls. For me, I'm at the point where I can afford to spend $18 on an eyeliner from Urban Decay, but for people on a budget this is a great alternative. I occasionally still use this eyeliner, but this isn't my go to. & I will admit, I still do use makeup from Walmart:)
