My go-to fragrance. I use it nearly everyday and it is perfect for all occasions - work, university or even going out at night. The lemon base is complex as it lingers throughout the day but doesn't overpower, and the woody notes are complimented by its freshness. Even though it is a sport fragrance, i wear this often when i am out as it freshens me up, especially during summer. An absolute star of a fragrance and highly recommended

This is my DH daily staple. Even I myself uses this on a hot day when i wanted something more refreshing.


This has uplifting citrusy notes as opening to energizes the spirit and a slighty woody base to make it a hint more manly and long lasting. This has a sensual factor to it and developes very differently on individuals. Best to go to the stores to spritz it on and wait for it to develop and see if you like the scent.

I am actually writing this review for myself although I am a female. The lady at the Chanel counter at Neiman's gave me some to try after overhearing me say I like fresh fragrances for summer but can't stand soapy notes. I liked it on the blotter and kept looking. I smelled it in my purse last night and decided that since my husband said I could get a bottle of perfume today I would get one we could share. After wearing it all day today at work I was convinced that this one was working for me. I got a 1.7 oz bottle at our local military base for 43.00 and feel it was money well spent. I brought it home and my husband liked it as well. The citrus does not seem overwhelming to me, it just seems very clean to me, sans the soap, which is great. I do get citrus but not like opening a can of Lemon pledge like some citrus scents do. It's the perfect balance of citrus, pepper and muskiness. Has good lasting power also which is also a winner!

I like this, not love it. It's 2nd place to my fave on him, which is Dune for men. This is light and has a lemony scent, which is beautiful on him. I suck at detecting notes so there be nothing lemon in it but it comes through to me. He likes it, too, but since he literally has Dune for men since 2000, I'm not rushing out to buy him anything like this :)

One word: alluring! It really lives up to its name. Everytime my BF uses it, I can't help but lean on his shoulder to smell him. A very sensual scent, clean and fresh with just the right blend of citrusy, grassy and musky scent. Love it!

This is the only scent my fiance will wear.

My other favourite for men is Hugo Boss's Boss. Mmmmmm.

I am allergic to certain fragrances but these two have never bothered me.

This is my new favorite Edt! I just love it... It's sporty and fresch, has a warm citrus and white must smell, with a woody, blackpepper tone. The smell is intensive but not that strong that you get a headache. Buy it!

I want my boyfriend to wear this forever because I wanna smell this on him forever! I'll always love him and be with him forever...
My boyfriend and I also love eternity for men and davidoff goodlife for men on him. Not all at the same time, he wears them each on different days, I guess whatever mood he is in? but I always choose the chanel for him on most days.

I was so surprised. my man sprayed this while bypassing a dept store. this smells as good as men's toilet after a generous wash with cheap lemon detergent. really. where are the allure references? (altho 15mins later, some allure top notes became detectable..) but what the hell? lemon spray?
EDIT: i grew to love this perfume so much. i ended up buying for my man, and using it a lot on myself instead! Really, paper samples can be deceiving. Bought, and tried. This is the only man scent i'll ever wear. Loves. Upgraded frm 1 lippy to 4 LIPPIES.

I absolutely love this cologne on my husband. I get tired of the majority of men's colognes out there because they don't have the variety of scents like women's perfumes. Men's colognes are one of two families - citrusy, crisp and clean or rich and heavy like Old Spice/Brut. Because of that, a lot of people smell the same to me. This one stands out. It does start out crisp, but it is softened with a warm and spicy tinge - not enough to tickle my nose, making it absolutely irresistible and unique. Love it!

This smells so sexy on my man. We just bought this at Macys and I cant stop smelling him. I do believe that this will smell good on a man of olive or darker copmplexion. My boyfriend is Persian, therefore this suits him rather well. Will buy again

UGH! My MIL bought this for my husband for Christmas, and it smells simply awful and it is way too strong. It literally makes me sick and want to die. He has worn Chanel Egoiste for as long as I've known him, and that smell is totally "him" and I love it. This smells like some sort of generic Axe body spray for men. I asked him this morning to promise me to never spray this horrible stuff again.

This is one of my HG perfumes. I have always been more attracted to "masculine" scents, but this one could really be a great unisex perfume- it is one for me and my lad, anyway! Great on hot summer days. I also like the stylish packaging.Will buy that till I'm old and rusty!

This is a really great scent for my husband. It's warm and spicy that makes it really sexy, but at the same time it's clean and fresh and that makes it really sexy too. LOL! Overall this is a winner.

This fragrance is not too bad. It's a clean, masculine and modern scent, and it doesn't give me a headache. My husband uses it when he is on the go - I constantly gets samples of it from my Chanel SA so he carries them with him. Haven't needed to actually buy any yet (yes, she gives me that many samples!), but I think that he probably would. Much better than the original Allure for men.
