This mascara worked well for me, I purchased black mascara. It looks very natural, and did not flake all over my face. It gave a small bit of curl. You can apply many layers with no clumps or problems. I would purchase this product again, but the price is a little expensive. I am now going to try Revlon 3D mascara, we will see how that goes.

This product was not worth the price to me. It wasn't as waterproof as the drugstore waterproof mascaras I use. Also, I got the black color, but on my lashes, it looked dry and ashen. Besides one other Revlon mascara, this is the worst mascara I've ever used :/

I got "espresso" and it looks very nice on my long lashes. I have fair skin, so the black would be a little harsh, but this color is perfect. It's pretty basic but does add some length and doesn't clump my lashes together. A little pricey for the lack of "features" but I would buy it again.

Very basic, doesn't do much, maybe gives a little definition. Doesn't do anything awful either but it's not exactly waterproof. Not worth the price.

I got the "Ruby" kit from sephora. the classic mascara is a nice daily use macara that adds color and a little length and not much else. a bit too watery.

i reallllllllly loved the glittery one on the otherside! so much fun. i would buy if they sold the glitter alone.

This is a very natural looking mascara, just a little color, just a little length. I prefer something a little more dramatic. For the price, I think this is not very good. I think that this is very similar to great lash.

Having never used mascara before but a very dedicated BE product line user I stopped into my local BE boutique to give some mascara a try! The Classic Mascara was recommended to me as a new user. My color is black. I love it and as the beauty expert said "I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT"! Just gives my eyes a more defined yet nature look! Very easy to apply, last all day and worth the price!

Much to my surprise, I like this mascara. One coat is enough to give me a defined, natural look, and I like the way the brush is curved. It makes applying the product to my lower lashes very easy. You can't apply more than two coats without getting massive clumps, but I'm still impressed with this product because of how easy it is to apply. I would buy again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

The keyword on this is NATURAL. I suspect that if you try to put on a lot and try to make it look dramatic, it will look clumpy. Please do not get this if you want big huge lashes. The ingredients that make lashes look thicker and longer make my eyes itch like crazy. This does not have those ingredients, and it makes my lashes a natural looking brown color. Since my lashes are already long and thick, but blonde, I am very happy to use this. I do wish it came in more colors though.

A very average mascara. It's fine for everyday use, but for that price (AUS$40) I expected something much better. If I wanted an everyday, hardly-noticeable mascara, I would've gotten an Almay one-much cheaper. Next time I'm spending this much money on a mascara, I'm getting a Lancome one.

I'm reviewing the "classic mascara" that came with the diamonds kit from Sephora. It was so watery. In order to get any length, I had to put so much on and even then, there was hardly a difference. Also, if I used a lot, it was much more likely to smudge. It doesn't clump, but it runs and makes points of my lashes when I try to build coverage.
I've tried many mascaras in my lifetime, from cheap to expensive. This is the worst one I've ever used. I usually keep my mascaras two months. I dumped this one after a month and that was 29 days too long.
If they're trying to do a more natural ingredient type of mascara, it's not working.

This is terrible for me, because I have thin lashes, and this mascara doesn't thicken at all because the formula is so thin and watery, all it does is add color. I need a mascara that thickens, like Maybelline Greatlash. I got this in Auburn; I'd probably like black more, but still wouldn't buy again. It actually irritated my eyes a little too.

This is a nice,light mascara for easy going days. Def, not for going out on the town. The colors are great though, most companies just offer your basic colors and BE offers more. This is a good mascara for days when I wear very little MU. I don't think I would repurchase, and if I did it would be for the colors.

it's a plain mascara. it doesn't really volumize or lengthen in my opinion. i gave it a shot, bc i'm a huge fan of BE. i was okay with it. i didn't like or hate it. i just used it. if you have long curly lashes and just want some definition than i would recommend this. but if you have straight lashes are are a little sparse or want dramatic lashes, you won't find it with this mascara.


the one thing i like about this mascara is that there is an assortment of colors. i'd probably used them on top of my mascara (which is not from the BE line) for an added splash of subtle color, but haven't experimented with that yet.

I have this product in a few colours - Plum, Black & Espresso. This is one of my favourite mascaras gives a really natural look, I love the Espresso as I have blonde lashes and this gives perfect coverage without looking too made-up.

I actually like this mascara, it holds the curl and adds just enough length. This one is way better than the big tease mascara which i don't like at all.

Doesn't do much... and I didn't like the shade of brown. I like dark brown that looks almost black (brown makes blue eyes look more blue). Anyway, this stuff is like milk chocolate brown. I might have as well not worn anything. I think I'll stick to my L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara... its like half the price anyway.

Purchased this mascara as part of a makeup kit from QVC and this was the only product in the kit that I hated. The mascara is a joke. It doesn't volumize, lengthen or make your eyelashes look like you have anything on. Also made major racoon eyes within 1 hour. Very disappointed in Bare Escentuals mascara since I love all their other products.
