I was a little apprehensive at the sparkle size in this product but this is actually a cute pencil on me and not too out there. I have cool undertones to my skin so wearing gold sparkles looks way too disco. Brown and silver is hard combination to find outside of frost colors, and I am quite happy with this. I can wear this alone or with eyeshadow, i usually pair this liner with a neutral shadow with some sparkle (or some chanel blush in satellite on my eyes). I think the previous reviewer must have gotten a bad batch because I wear contacts as well and have even fallen asleep in this liner with no problems.

I agree with everything the previous reviewer said. But I want to add this: The sparkles fell straight into my eyes and damaged the cornea - in an instant. This is a dangerous product. My eyes were red and painful for DAYS. No amount of washing, eye drops, whatever, did the trick. It's like having glass shards splash into the eye, dig in, and stay there. It's pretty for 1 minute and then the pain closes your eyes and you can't see for the rest of the day no matter how much you wash. Forget it. I felt like suing this company for this pencil. I threw it away, didn't swap or anything. I was happy to throw it away after just 1 (painful) use.

Saw this in a Sephora catalog and was immediately smitten--sparkly brown eyeliner? Yes, please! Managed to swap for it soon after and am a little disappointed. It is a chubby pencil and the color is a medium, neutral cocoa brown with silver sparkles--a pretty and slightly unexpected combination. The brown is so basic but the glitter is quite flashy and really adds some pizzazz. The formula is creamier and smoother than I'd initially thought it'd be and the glitter surprisingly doesn't make the pencil feel scratchy whilst applying. The sparkles look really adorable as an accent around my dark eyes, particularly glinting away in the corners (they're really bright and eye-catching). However, the sparkles are a bit too big for my taste and have a tendency to fall onto my cheeks after application and sometimes (eep!) into my eyes. I wear contact lenses so that's a big no-no. Plus, I was hoping for smaller glitter so I could wear this during the day, but as it stands, I'd reserve this for evenings out dancing or bar-hopping. Suggestion: How about a brown pencil with smaller gold shimmers? Please?
