Beautiful shimmery metallic looking royal blue polish. It looks fabulous on nails, but takes FOREVER to dry! I ended up getting scratches on the surface of my nails even though I was careful. It has also chipped at the top of my nails after one day, but I change my colour every few days anyway so it's not so much of an issue for me.

I was a little disappointed in this color, it didn't look as interesting on my nails as it did in the bottle. It's probably just me, though, as everyone else seems to love it.

My all time favorite nail polish and the only polish (that's not a top coat) that I have ever repurchased. Love it!

Love this beautiful royal blue. So bright and eye-catching! It's so glow-y it's almost metallic-looking. This color grabbed my attention from the first time I saw it in the store, it really stands out. And now that I'm wearing it I've decided it's one of my favorite polishes, and I own close to 100. One of Essie's best!
If you like blue polishes this one is a must-have!!

This is my first Essie nail polish, I simply adore OPI and Chanel. Forgot to bring nail polish on a sleep over and went to a drug store and Essie was the only quality brand they had. Aruba Blue is a gorgeous blue which really stands out due to the brightness of it. I can see this working on all skin tones. It's a happy, royal and charming colour. Every time I wear it I receive a compliment. The Essie brush is quite wide which makes for an easy application. You could get away with one coat but I love two coats. It has a high sheen so you don't have to use a top coat if you use top coat for sheen. I'm very pleased with the purchase and wear it often.

This nail polish is reminds me of sexy, victoria's secret, royal blue, satin lingerie. That sounds insanely creepy, but that's what my brain came up with. Sorry if that offended you, but don't let me deter you away from this polish. It is GORGEOUS. It is opaque in 1 coat, but I like to add a second because I feel like if I don't, it won't be right. Two coats is generally good for all good quality nail polishes. Essie polishes aren't the best at chip-prevention, but hey, you're not buying this for wear and tear, you're wearing this for a statement. Be warned, people will notice your nails (in a good way of course!). Go check this out if you're a lover of blues and being noticed.

A beautiful navy blue with tiny specs of blue and purple sparkle (on the nails it just looks like a sheeny finish). Nice application and lasting power. I've only worn this color once and I got compliments on it, so it must be good, right? ; )

Such a fab color!! I find Essie nail polishes a hit and miss in terms of formula and how easy application is. This one is a hit.

What a gorgeous colour. It really is something that will give your nails some attention. Very glamorous royal blue with the most beautiful metallic shine! As soon as I saw this alongside the other essie polishes it immediately caught my eye, and I just had to get it. Really nice, very beautiful, quick drying, generally quite a nice product. :-)

gorgeous royal blue with shimmer and a lot of dimension. stands out wonderfully and makes a real statement. such an uplifting colour! reminds me of that really rich blue you see in the sky sometimes at night.
this only needs 2 coats as well and staying power is good.
definitely repurchasing!

Love this classy royal blue color! I will upload a picture (mine is with one nail on each hand being silver/glittery). My boyfriend bought me this today and I fell in love immediately. The pigmentation is great! Such a deep, opaque, rich royal blue that would look great for this upcoming summer season. I would highly recommend grabbing it.

Beautiful. The colour is sensational -bright and shimmery, it applies wonderfully and lasts longer than some of my other essie polishes. My favourite royal blue by far.

Well, I got Aruba Blue by Essie because it was on sale for $7 at the drugstore and this color was the only one standing out from the bunch. I own a few of this brand and really love it. I displayed this shiny mettalic cobalt blue for about a full day's worth, but all in all I do prefer the tamed version in matte finish for sure. The image above is quite true to what I have on my nails.

I also own "Co-Bolt" blue by Sally Hansen which is identical to Aruba Blue, but I like Essie's formula better and it didn't take me too long to get the touch ups done.

It dried quick, the color usually would last about 5 days to a week, with base/top coats. I've seen it in all types of skin tones and it really looks edgy, fresh and fun. I find that this color actually attracts chatty people and thanks goodness banishes those tedious people away from you. *laughs. I love it!!! I even dare to say Aruba Blue is one of the top 10 must haves colors, but I personally I would keep my nails short and use matte top coat.

Trivia: Glee fans know about Tina (played by Jenna Ushkowitz) loving this color.

Great colour... I normally wear Blue Satin from Chanel when I wear blue but this is a nice option too - it's more fresh than the other one, but I'm just very conservative when it comes to nails. I prefer them in balck, navy, red or french manicured which is why I don't rate this higher...

Great color. Very happy with this purchase. Now, I'm in my mid thirties and still wear all the fun and crazy colors on my nails. I think as long as the nails are short, anyone can get away with fun colors! Aruba Blue is a vibrant deep jewel toned blue with a very slight sheen of pearl in it. For some reason, this blue seems to look somewhat sophisticated and the shade is very easy to pull off. I really love the formula of this np. The color went on very even with no streaks. The pigment in the np is outstanding. I got true to the bottle color with 2 coats. The np itself is glossy and you could get away without a topcoat if you are in a rush.

Yowza, this is a beautiful colour. Sapphire blue with a shot of metallic sheen running through it. I used to think blue nails were kind of tacky, but now I love it. I always get compliments when I wear this- looks best on shorter nails, IMO.

I was looking for an electric, shocking blue that I saw in a clothing ad. And though I'm not sure if this was the color, it's still a keeper! It's a gorgeous blue that reflects in the light. It's SO pretty! You can get it at Target, which is very convenient.
Chipping is not an issue for me. I've had it on my toes for a really long time (lazy lol) and it's only starting to chip.
