I love this color! Maybe it's because it works w/ my super pale skin? I got this in a swap and just loved the name because I loved the show. (Sweet Valley High) I use it as a highlight and I love it. Super cute packaging and I just love the way it looks. Definitely like.

Tarte shadows are REALLY nice!!! They are nicely pigmented, so no complaints here. That is the most important feature of an eyeshadow, at least IMO. Sweet Valley High is a pastel, shimmery, pink. I like to wear this on the lids with Raspberry Beret on the outer 3rd of the lids, and a neutral color in my crease. What I love most about this pink shadow is the fact that it is shimmery without being overly frosty, sheer, and glittery. I pat this on with my MAC 252 and the color payoff is instant. I do get some fallout if I pack too much on the brush, but it is easily cleaned up afterwards. This is one of my favorite pastel pink eyeshadows. :o)

Overall rating: I gave this 4 lippies only because it's just a nice brow bone highlight shade but nothing to wet your pants over :-) I need one in my makeup case, and this fits the bill. The texture is very smooth and silky, and coverage is adequate and not spotty or patchy.
Price: I think these retail for around $17, which is a little high IMO, but you get a pretty large pan.
Packaging: I can't comment on the packaging because I depotted it from the A-List palette, but I hear that Tarte's individually packaged eyeshadows are pretty darn cute.
Would I buy again: Probably not because it's just not that special.

I love this shadow. This is my first Tarte Shadow. It is a pale shimmery pink. I use this to highlight my eyes. I am a NC25-30/LSF 5 and this color looks great on me. It stays pretty well too. I do have to take a point off for the packaging. It looks cheap to me for $17. I think Tarte can do better. However I would buy this shade again and I want try others too.

I'm not really sure if I'm totally happy with this color. I bought it mostly because I used to read Sweet Valley High books, and I love pink eyeshadow (even if it doesn't usually look good on me). This eyeshadow is a very light, shimmery cool pink. It's super soft and pigmented, but on my lids it almost looks white (NW20, blue-green eyes). I bet this would be a great highlighter, but I already have an HG browbone highlighter. They are expensive at $17, but I do think the quality of Tarte shimmer eyeshadows is excellent. However, I'm on the fence about this color and I probably wouldn't buy it again.
