Saw this in Space NK the other day and wanted a new color for summer. This fits the bill. My eyes are blue/grey/green - depending on what I wear.
SA put this on with another color - forget which but it worked really well. Very pretty for summer and the consistency is great.
Buy this cutie if you can and if you like green.

This is indeed a beautiful eyeshadow. I layered it with browns, golds, and black, and they make my eyes really pop. I love the packaging too. The compact looks so sleek in my collection.

Shu Uemura ME Green 550 is a lovely green eye shadow. It's a beautiful emerald green color, it's quite dark and shimmery. The color can be described as sort of mermaid green. I like to combine it with a lighter green e/s or with a gold e/s. I can see it looking beautiful as an e/l shade as well.
As always with Shu Uemura eye shadows the texture is amazing, so is the lasting power. They are very pigmented. It's so soft and smooth, very easy to apply. I would definitely repurchase this "gem".

It's the new version of the old ME 555, from the new formula. It's a bright green shade, very pigmented with silver shimmers. The new formula it's not as metallic as the old ME and that's good because they're more wearable. It's a great as a liner and perfect with brown eyes. But I have a problem with Shu e/s, I can't blend them easily so I won't buy it again.

i wont comment too much since most people have already said what i wanted to say, suffice that i prefer the texture of the old ME shadows. i'm posting this comparison pictures etc up between the ME 555 and its replacement shade in the new formula, ME 550, for easy reference for those who want to know what the difference is and whether its worth getting the old version or not.
my take on it is, i like the 555 better, its more metallic and vibrant at the end of the day. but the difference (except texture) is more or less negligible unless you're really looking for something different. if ME 555 didnt exist, i would be in love with ME 550.

SHU ME GREEN 550 -> The gorgeous green eyeshadow that made my bf notice my makeup! This shade is a beautiful shimmery emerald green that is 'oh so gorgeous' as a lid shade paired with a moss green(UD Mildew) or dark glittery blue(UD GODDESS / ENVY) on crease and white gold on browbone. It makes my brown eyes pop and made many people talking about my makeup especially my mother and boyfriend. It reminded us of peacock feathers which is awesome. However for those who do not want a BRIGHT green, this is not the green for u as this is really very obvious and bright and can be seen from a distance hehe. I would repurchase but have managed to get hold of 555 which i heard is much better than this one. Can't wait to get it :)

This was my first Shu Uemura......I have loads now but this is still my day to day favourite. It is so soft and so highly pigmented - what you see is what you get! It's one of those colours that are hard to replicate.....I definately recommend Shu eyeshadows in Metallics - Matte shades are much of a muchness but their metallics are superior to everyone elses!

This is definitely one of my favorite green eyeshadows. It's a medium neutral/slightly cool green with shimmer. The texture is fabulous, very silky and highly pigmented. I love to pair it with golds or a darker green, but it would also work with a dark blue or teal. Applied dry it provides a nice wash of color but it can also be used wet to make a really bright shade.

Shu Uemura has newly reformulated its pressed eye shadows, and ME 550 is the metallic emerald green that we all once knew and loved as the infamous ME 555. It's still the same great colour, which can go on intensely or as a sheer wash of colour depending on application. Of course, I'd buy this again. I love the new packaging!
