I stock up on this while its on sale not because it is expensive but because I use this obsessively. Its the perfect top coat. I hate spending 9 dollars on an OPI or other brand for clear polish. This dries relatively fast and it dries hard. I have zero tolerance for a gummy or sticky finish. In order to avoid dragging you must apply with a heavy hand. I know it will seem like a lot and you'd be scared that it won't properly dry but it does. Its pretty shiny but not the shiniest. It helps prolong my mani/pedis.

I got this from drugstore.com for $1.99 mainly because I needed that much more in my cart to get free shipping on some OPI polishes, and I'm so glad I did. It makes my mani last longer and dries very quickly. You can't beat the price either.

I'm very impressed with this little topcoat! Let me tell you why.

The price is great, of course. It does dry fairly quickly. It's dry to the touch after 5 minutes, and completely dry in just a little over half an hour, I think. Maybe 40 minutes, tops. I usually do my nails before bed, and I was able to sleep and not wake up to any sheet marks. The finish is nice and shiny, could possibly be a *little* shinier, but maybe that's just me. ^_^

It *does* color drag on most polishes, at least, most of the ones I own. I found that the trick to avoiding this, however, is to coat pretty thickly. Don't be afraid of having too much on the brush. Too little and you'll start color dragging. It does self-level quite nicely. I thought I had a huge glob on one nail one time and it flattened out on its own as it dried and was perfect. I also had a small dent in the polish once, then used this tc, and was surprised that I couldn't find the dent the next day. It smoothed the dent out by itself. Nice!

The cons are that it does do the 'tip-pulling' thing that everyone talks about, and it doesn't seem to prolong manis much. I've usually got chipping within 24 hours. The shinyness seems to dull pretty quickly, too.

I honestly think this stuff is just as good as more expensive ds topcoats, like Sally Hansen and such. If you're on a budget, give this little gal a try, you might just like her! And if you don't, it's not that big of a hit in the wallet. ;)

This top coat does "drag" the nail polish. Since it drags the nail polish, I usually use this as a touch up kind of top coat or I put a clear over my nailpolish, then this top coat. It works AMAZING. Dries very quickly, very very nice price and is very shiny! consdier checking it out!

Color me pleasantly surprised! I love that it's quick dry, and it adds an incredible shine to manis/pedis. The first time I used it one of my classmates asked if I had just gotten my toes done! Wear is decent -- you could probably squeeze 5 days out of it without major chipping, though tip wear would definitely be showing by then. I'm definitely going to grab more of this in case WnW discontinues it. :)

LOVE IT! I always do my own mani/pedi's & I haven't used a top coat in awhile (because I use OPI & Essie & they stay on pretty long) but I have been wanting more of a shine to my manicures & this is perfect!! My nailpolish hasn't chipped in over 3 days (that's long for me) & they are still super shiny! Super cheap, go get it!

I bought this after a friend recommended it, and I was very surprised. I am a Seche Vite and expensive polish kind of girl, so sometimes I look down on drugstore polishes. This top coat really exceeded my expectations. It is very shiny, and dries almost as quickly as Seche. I would say that it is more likely to show scratches, but for $1.99 I could buy a new bottle and just use a coat everyday. So far it's been really thin (I'm about halfway through the bottle) and the brush is really long and I feel like I will be able to use more of this than my Seche Vite.

Overall: A cheap alternative to Seche Vite for those who are on a budget.

I bought this thinking it was regular clear polish, because I wanted to Franken, but when I got it home I realized it was a top coat. I tried it and it works just was well as NYC's shiny top coat. It's $1.99 as opposed to NYC's 99 cents, but that's still cheaper than most.

This stuff is great. I stock up when WnW has a sale, think it is normally $1.99. It goes on well, dries quick, has awesome gloss and shine, and is so cheap!

As for how well or long it lasts, I am very rough on my nails and change my polish every three days, so I don't know. Mostly I like top coats for the shine, and this one delivers!!! Also, it doesn't get thick in the bottle....stays thin and usable forever. A great product!

TOOK OFF ALL OF MY NAIL POLISH!!!

I changed my review on this. It DID take off all of my nail polish. But after giving it a second try I realized you just have to make sure you give your polish adequate time to dry before putting on your topcoat and it works great. Dried quickly, no smudging, and nice shine. :)

This is probably an OK quick dry top coat if you are on a budget. I don't over indulge in professional pedis mainly because they are not cheap where I live (usually about $55.00 CDN), and I'm competent at doing it myself including applying polish (thank you Yoga!!). I am not a brand snob at all. Because of the reviews and because I was in a place that had WNW I bought this. Compared to the high end versions, (Seche Vite), it does not level very well at all. It leaves ridges....it's not glass like. It does the job but it's not a glossy, WOW clear coat that I expect after my effort of applying good polish like OPI, China Glaze or Creative Nail. If you're budget conscious this may work well for you. If you cut back somewhere else like I do, you might not want to waste a well done "paint job" with this top coat. It does tend to drag the the color off....something that I don't usually experience. Sadly, in this case, you get what you pay for IMHO.

I consider this to be the secret to a perfect manicure. It makes my nail polish dry right away, and it looks amazing. It is light and dries instantly. I took one lippie off for peeling when worn alone. It only works on top of other colors, not alone.

This is a spectacular alternative to Seche Vite, which is my HG. I never thought that I would stray from SV, but WnW proved me wrong. I used this for the first time two months ago, and I have yet to look back. The consistency of this TC is a lot more fluid than the thick SV, however, WnW has excellent staying power, and it really does not take long to dry. I dare say that it takes less time than SV to dry simply because it is a lighter formula.

WnW provides an excellent "wet shine" that does not fade after one day. In addition, my manicure lasts a record 4-5 days with this TC, and that is only with the initial application. I have yet to have any chips with this TC, so I can't tell you if it chips in sheets or in little bits. The bottle is square and tall, the brush has a long, slim handle. The brush is not too thin, but it is not outrageously wide either. It is pretty much the normal-sized brush you encounter with many polishes.

Two very thumbs up for the inexpensive and effective TC.

for reference: I use CG strengthening BC, and I have tried the TC with essie, OPI, CG, NYC, and WnW. All have been successful manis and pedis.

I love this top coat. It's cheap and works well to keep nail polish from chipping. I usually just use it with an NYC or wet n wild nail polish and those are extremely good at chipping fast so this prevents it at least somewhat. Plus this makes the nail polish look much better and shinier. Would buy again when this runs out.

Overall, I like this product. The only qualm I have is that is tends to get a little "sticky" after a couple of uses, but for the price, heck, it's a good top-coat, I just buy a new one when that happens. It dries nails very quickly

This really does dry SUPER fast, so I gave it one lippie. It has a nice gloss, so a second lippie. However, that's where it stops. I applied this alone, and found that a few hours later it was already peeling off! Took a shower (like a previous post mentioned), and it peeled even worse! I won't repurchase.
