This was just okay for me. I've never used a cuticle remover before, but since I grew my nails out after chewing them all my life I've actually liked painting them and taking care of them. I applied this to my cuticles then pushed them back with an orange stick. I do like how gentle this was on my nails and how soft they felt after, but I feel like that's the opposite of what this is supposed to do. It didn't really last long at all, I found that after a few days my cuticles would move up and I'd end up with polish underneath them somehow. I'm going to use what I have but won't be repurchasing.

I think this is a great product. It softened my cuticles so that they weren't so hard throughout the week. I actually do have "problem cuticles." I see in the reviews, some people say it is comparable to soaking nails in warm water. This may be true, but water doesn't moisturize. Water will just make your cuticles easy to cut. I can tell the difference between this and the instant cuticle remover by Sally Hansen.

I actually like this. I used this on my toes and fingernails today, rubbed it on, where there was still a little residue left over and then waited about 5 mins. Using the orange sticks i rubbed the cream in a little more which helped the dead skin come off and the rest I pushed back. They looked very neat, I did make sure to use a cuticle oil after washing the remaining cream off. I would recommend it for a quick at home pedi-mani, gives you a nice base to do your thing. Definitely use a moisturising cuticle oil after though.

This product was such a waste of money, like the other reviews say, it's just as good as soaking your nails in warm water. I was very disappointed as Sally Hansen's products are usually very good.

damn
why didn't I check the reviews before I went out and bought this?

This didn't work for me. Softened the cuticles slightly, but warm water could have done this, and could of done it better. It softened the cuticles for the first 1 minute and then the cream dried up, by then I had only pushed/scraped the dead skin off 3 nails- and I was rushing it

If this product worked for me it I wouldn't have said it was expensive, but because it didnt't it was EXPENSIVE.

The packaging wasn't that great ither.

won't buy this again thats for sure

This didn't do much for me. It softened my cuticles, but it did not dissolve or remove any like I hoped. The only positive is that it smells pleasant and it's compact. Like another poster mentioned, I think I will use this to exfoliate my cuticles but once I use it up, I will not be repurchasing.

I don't know...I don't feel this does anything for me that just soaking my fingers in warm water couldn't do. Leaving it on for the maximum 8 minutes doesn't work any miracles, either. I am going to try using it as a cuticle cream; maybe as a consistent, long-term exfoliant it will be more effective.

I wouldn't count on this to remove cuticles, but it does a good job of exfoliating them. I use this every day or so and leave it on for about 10 minutes. I then use a nail brush and a little palmolive to scrub my nails and cuticles. I think it does a pretty good job of exfoliating the dry skin aroun my nails and cuticles so it does not become a "problem". This is good, especially for the price, but not exactly what it clims to be. I'll repurchase because I like the effect that it has on my nails.

Well, this made my nails and fingers soft--but it didn't do a darn thing for my cuticles, and I even left it on longer then recommended.

If I just wanted soft nails, I'd use olive oil.

This really didn't seem to do a great job on my cuticles. I can get similar results with just soaking in warm soapy water. I do like the packaging and the smell, but I doubt I would repurchase.

Didn't seem to do much for me but the area around my nails were left soft so I guess this is an okay product.

i had a terrible problem with this product. it ate through my nails. its been over a year and they are just beginning to return to almost normal. several trips to the doctor and medications, both oral and topical. i applied it for only 6 minutes, washed it off with soap and water. it ate through my nails and skin infecting it so badly i was in constant pain. thankfully i only used it on two cuticles. i would never suggest anyone to use this product.

This stuff doesn't magically remove cuticles, it just gets rid of dead skin cells before you cut your cuticles. If I wanted to make them 'soft' enough to cut, I would just do so after a long, warm shower. It gets the job done equally. After I tested this out and cut my cuticles, I was so sad. Because after weeks of caring for my cuticles and making them grow by religiously putting on cuticle creams day and night, I just ended up trimming them the old fashioned way and ruining the skin around the cuticles. Never will I cut my own cuticles. I will dish out the money and get them removed by a professional.

This stuff is fantastic for obtaining professional looking home manicures. I don't know how well it would work if I didn't give my nails a good long soak in warm soapy water and a good going over w/ a nail brush prior to use but I do - Then I leave this on for 5 minutes and push my cuticles back with an orange stick. Another good going over w/ a nail brush & soapy warm water and my cuticles need little or no trimmimg (which is a good thing as I am a klutz at that). I took a point off because the packaging sucks - the opening is way too large to apply the "thin
line" that is recommended - I end up with it smeared all over the entire nail bed. But the price is reasonable enough to waste some product in over-applying. It's really gentle and non-drying too.

There is no way I could do pedicures at home without this stuff. It's great. It totally softens up my cuticles so that I can push them back or trim them without difficulty. After soaking your toes, rub this on your cuticles and leave it on five minutes. Rinse and then push back cuticles or trim with a nail clipper. Be careful though! I'm taking points off because the tube is messy, but otherwise this stuff is great!

This product works much better than more expensive brands I've tried, such as Barielle (which did nothing!). I leave it on for about 10 minutes, then use a cuticle pusher to push cuticles back. I still usually need to trim them up, but this product helps tremendously. Afterwards, I apply a cuticle cream.
