This stain gives a nice flush of color that lasts may be 6 hours or so for me. I like the red, because it complements my NC25 skin. I know this product is very expensive, but I have not met any more affordable products as good as the Benetint. Benetint lasts on your lips longer than any other, the color is absolutely flattering, and it goes on your lips very naturally and evenly. Tints are awesome, but you have to find a right product and this is it!

I love using this on my cheeks! I apply three dots along each cheekbone and use a stippling brush to blend/pat it in. It leaves a very natural flush, and does not look like blush at all when I use this method. I could see how using just a little too much could make it look clown-ish though, so be sure to use a light hand. It also lasts ALL day. This one bottle has easily lasted me easily a year (though I don't use it every single day), and I've had no problems with it leaking out.

I love this. It seriously lasts forever, so I don't think it's expensive at all. I have fair skin and I look DEAD without any blush on, so on days when I'm too lazy to put on a full face, or when it's really hot and humid and powder makeup will get oily anyways, I just use tinted moisturizer, brown liner, curl my lashes, and then put benetint on the apples of my cheeks and on my lips and I look natural and healthy! It's pretty foolproof and buildable. I usually do 3 tiny dots, blend, and then add 3 more dots and then blend to build up the color. you need to blend immediately because it won't budge once it's settled on your skin. I may not use this everyday, but this is something I will always have in my makeup stash!

I'd heard so much about this "cult' product. Luckily I only bought a half used bottle off eBay. This colour barely shows on my heavily pigmented lips and it tickles so bad when I run the brush on my lips! Weird problem but well...
As far as using it on my cheeks is concerned, a little bit of lipstick works best I think.

There is no question that this is a pricey product, but have used it periodically if not every single day for several *years* and still have almost half a bottle left with no sign of spoilage; in my book that qualifies as good value for money. The color looks like a note-perfect natural blush on my fair skin and lasts well... application by finger isn't complicated and a little goes a long way. I love the color on my lips and it builds intensity nicely with layering, but is a little drying -- lip balm on top is a must.
Wouldn't be without it.

I have avoided purchasing this even though I gravitate towards liquid tints more than any type of blush product because it is hella expensive. First things first, I prefer liquid tints because it is longer lasting than cream and powder blushes. Since I'm the type who doesn't like re-applying makeup, plus the conditions I'm exposed to (very hot and very humid Manila), liquid tints are the obvious choice.
On with the review:
Packaging: Given that it's in a bottle with a nail polish applicator, I don't think this is something you put in your travel case. Since liquid tints last throughout the day, you wouldn't need to bring this with you, if primarily used as a blush. As a lip color, then that would pose a problem.
Consistency is good. This product didn't dry to quickly with me unlike what happened to the previous reviewer. As a lip stain, it isn't really that remarkable. Sometimes it's too red, other times it won't appear on my lip even after several applications.
A word of advice, all liquid tints will stain fingertips, and that is why one generally uses a sponge when applying liquid blush. Compared to the other liquid tints out there, this is actually the least noticeable since the consistency of the blush is watery and buildable.
I would admit that the product is indeed expensive. I have been using similar blushes over the years (nail polish applicator/bottle packaging) that is one-tenth of the price of a Benetint. I purchased a full bottle after getting to try a small sample. I would actually choose urban decay's lip envy stain as a blush over this, but since that is unavailable here, then I'd stick with this one.
Bottom line. Liquid blushes aren't for everyone. It requires practice and patience. If you're used to liquid blushes, then Benetint is a good option. I wanted to try this just to see what the fuss is all about. There isn't really much other than it's just a good blush. If you haven't tried this yet and is in love with liquid blushes, try this, at least once anyway.

I just cannot get on with this product.
Revolting, impossible to use packaging - unhygienic, drippy, too easy to spill and a nail polish brush, eh?
Dries too quickly - can't blend for even colour.
Too red on me, even if I go lightly (goes from invisible to 'smack in the chops' in one application on me).
Stains fingers when blending.
So expensive for a what seems to be, basically, a pot of red food colouring.
Never buying again!

What can I say? Not only is this my HG(Holy Grail) product, but it’s the most necessary love of my life! I am in love with this rose-tinted lip and cheek stain! It’s a product that gives your lips and cheeks the most natural flush, and you can’t even feel it’s on! It’s in a nailpolish-like container, which I think is super fun! The consistency is water-like, which makes it very easy to blend – but blend fast! It is a stain, don’t forget that! The smell is like roses, I love it – but the smell is really a love/hate factor for most people!
You don’t have to buy the fullsize for 32 dollars, if it’s too expensive for you, there are sets with smaller sizes or you might try the one with benetint on one side and a gloss on the other(pocketpal)! There are also a lot of great dupes!
Pros:
- Long Lasting
- Natural, buildable colour
- A lot of product, never runs empty!
Cons:
- A little expensive!
Dupes:
- The Balm Stainiac
- The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain(I use this on a daily basis, it’s more of a gel consitensy and easier to bring on the go!)
- Mememe Pussycat Lip and Cheek Stain
- 2True Cheek and Lip Tint
- Soap and Glory Cheekmate
- ModelCo Cheek + Lips
- Models Own Lip and Cheek tint
- Collection 2000 The Cheek of it
Application:
- For cheeks: You can simply dot some products on you cheeks and blend fast with fingers or a stippled brush!
- For lips: Use the applicator or a q-tip(if your doing someone else’s makeup) and drag it on your lips, rub your lips together and blend a little with your fingertip to set it for a natural look!
Some cool facts:
- They used the Benefit Benetint on most of the actors on set at the screening of Snowwhite And The Huntsman! Benefit was the sponsor of the movie’s makeup, and had over 50 makeupartists doing the 300 actors makeup on the set! With only Benefit makeup!
- You find this product in the “Snowwhite and the huntsman rare beauty kit” that Benefit released in April!
- They use Benefit Benetint on Kristen Bell in Veronica Mars!
- The Benetint is a product used a lot by Leighton Meester!
- They use the Benetint Lip Balm on the set of Pretty Little Liars!
- You want Kristen Stewarts liplook in Snowwhite and The Huntsman? Benefit Benetint is the product that was used!

All i can say is i hate this product. And here are a 10 simple reasons:
1. It bleeds- because the consistency is so liquid, you can't get a tidy clean line and shape.
2. There are only a limited number of colours.
3. The red is too dark (for me)
4. You have to put a lot on in order to see some good colour (i realise its a tint, but it was sold to me as a lip stain and the associate said it has buildable colour. It only does if you put a lot on)
5. It is very expensive - in Australia, a bottle is $52 (or $55). And for what it is, that is way overpriced.
6. It dries your lips.
7. It looks very messy and cheap.
8. The brush is too large, as stated earlier, its very hard to work with.
9. Horrible taste.
10. Can sting at time.
I realise it got an overall rating of 3.6/5 and most of you girls love it, but i just can't get over my hate for it. Sorry ...hope i wasn't too judgemental :(

Dont get the hype, I really dont. The few times I used this i found it stained my skin too quickly to blend nicely. Again, overpriced garb. If you want a stain of colour for a b lush try Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blushes. More choice of colours and blendable!

I bought this at Sephora because I was looking for a new blush and wanted to try a liquid one. I have very pale combination skin. I use this mainly as a lip stain but have also used it as a blush.
PROS:
- Nice as a blush and a lip stain
- Nice natural color
CONS:
- Spilled all over my makeup bag when I first got it
- Hard to apply to cheeks
- Drying on lips
Bottom line: Good product, probably would not repurchase. I prefer powder blushes.

I did what I could with this product, but this was a NO-GO for me in the long run. Luckily it broke and it put itself out of its misery. This product was difficult to work with in terms of a cheek stain. No matter how quickly I tried to work with the product, it left dots on my skin. It didn't help in terms of making my pores less noticeable either. Humph! Good luck to those gals who shell out $$$ for this. I'd stick with a good cream blush/stick.

If you are looking for an everyday blush that looks natural, then this is the product for you. It lasts a long time and has got to be one of the best products out ther. Although the packaging isn't great for travelling, I can live with that

I love BeneTint; lousy packaging and somewhat high price notwithstanding for a cute bottle of what is basically rose-scented food coloring. I've owned the Pocket Pal Duo as well, which I actually used up (!) but can't find that as easily anymore- pity because it was the best for travel or makeup bag.
Anyway, despite my dislike for the overall packaging of this in full size, it does what it promises and does it well and I've not found a better replacement yet. I love how easy it is to use; swipe, blend and go. I adore how buildable it is for lips and cheeks; how it lasts a long time and flatters just about everyone because it is sheer enough to look natural and doesn't scream "blush!". I use it by itself more often but sometimes I wear it under a powder or cream blush if I really need those to last longer or show up more. I also like that it's one of the only lip stains that doesn't totally dry out my lips nor turn that dreaded bright fuschia color a lot of pink and red stains do on me. This always stays a lovely soft pink flush.
The downside is that yes, the nail polish-style cap on this can crack and it can leak. (One of my purses learned the hard way). And yes, it's PITA to travel with for this reason with so you basically can't, but otherwise it has a safe spot on my vanity and probably always will. I didn't care for the pink Posietint or the Cha Cha versions spawned after this (the former didn't show up and the latter is too orange for my liking) which might prove that maybe you shouldn't mess with a good thing. I still think it's a bit pricey for what it is, but a little goes a long way and I get so much mileage out of this that it's worth it. Unless something else comes along that performs just as well but which I haven't seen yet, I'll continute to be a fan.

This product is really good formost skin colours, I think. It gives a very natural blush on your cheeks. On my skin, it takes about a couple of hours to show up which is irritating! I put it on in the morning around 9 it only shows up around 12-1 pm and when I first put it on the morning I would put a lot I would just dab it and blend it until it actually shows. I went out. After a couple hours I looked in the mirror my cheeks was super red. Like I just went for a jog but it looks very natural which I love. It is pricey though.

It was difficult for me to use this as a blush because it seems to dry so quickly on me. However, this is awesome as a lip stain. I apply this is several layers to my lips and it gives them a nice, sheer red stain. I then apply gloss or balm and when those wear off later, I still have a nice stain to my lips.
So if this doesn't work for other people as a blush, try it on your lips. I gave it a high rating based on that.

This gives you a really nice buildable flush. To me it looks exactly the way Bite of an Apple from MAC looks on me. The liquid is like a red with a coral undertone and it looks really natural. I'm medium fair with yellow skin and it looks great on me. I don't think this would show up on ladies of color because it shows up on me but after like 3 layers. Also I'm not a huge fan of the packaging! It's so easy to spill this! Ugh!

I actually have the smaller version of the benetint it came free with a magazine but I absolutely love it. I think it's just a very nice natural flush of colour on my cheeks. However, for £24.50 I think that it is way over priced and Lioele does the same kind of product but it is only about £8!
