Bought this from Haute Look, so price was great. The eyeshadows are the same great quality that Lorac's individual eyeshadows have. The lip/cheek tint in red brown is not very pigmented and looks great on my lips, but it is way too dark to use on my cheeks. The lipgloss looks mauve-ish on my lips, so it is very wearable. The only eyeshadow I doubt I will be able to use is the black one. The packaging is nice and functional, and it looks sturdy enough for me to take it on the road. Overall, this is a great palette.

Love this palette! All eyeshadows are amazing. Smooth and pigmented, they stay on for hours. The lip/cheek tint in red brown is perfect tapped on to lips. Tried looking for this color in a lipstick and still haven't found one as great as this. The only product that didn't work for me was the lipgloss, it's a little to brown for me.

Purchased at sephora, had always wanted to try this palette.
It was all very nice but a tad too dark for my fair skin, even with a very light hand.
I suggest it for someone with a medium to dark complexion. I actually have it up for swap right now.
The colors are all pretty neutral and there is even a black that can be used for eyeliner.
I had purchased it for travel, It would have been very convenient with a nice selection of neutrals, the blush in particular was just a bit dark for me.

This palette is phenomenal! The shadows are so smooth and silky and beautifully pigmented. The blush is gorgeous and the lipgloss is fantastic and very flattering on a varitey of skin tones. This only thing I wasn't that crazy about was the lip/cheek stain, its waay too red for cheeks, but does look nice on my lips. I got this pretty cheap on ebay, but I would pay full price for such excellent quality.

excellent palette for the money! you get a ton of stuff. I love the shadows and the lip stain especially. the e/s can lean to the warm side, but generally the palette is pretty universal.

This palette is such a great deal! You get so much for you money. I also like that the shades are not limited becasue I have gotten attached to the shadows and can wait to go back and buy the singles. There is a shadow for every occasion and its portable and compact...perfect for travel. Plus you have you whole look (eyes, lips, and cheeks) in one palette.

Could be packaged a bit sturdier for traveling purposes. This is a warm palette with gorgeous, dramatic colors. The quality of the shadows and blush and lipgloss are all outstanding. Good use of space. This CD is right under the Lorac Snake Charmer in my top rotation! Looks best on warm skin, dark eyes. I saw the palette CD2,all blues and lavenders-good for those cool skins with light eyes.

Ok - the quality here is good. I am only giving 4 lippies though because I don't really use all the colors in the eyeshadow spectrum. Is that LORAC'S fault though? Nah, I just didn't make the best color choice IMO for my skintone. I think this palette would suit someone with an olive skintone, or with a perhaps a yellow undertone; however it's not the best for a very pale-skined, somewhat neutral person like myself. The gold eyeshadow is a bit too well, gold to work with my skin, and the black eyeliner/shadow is too harsh for me 'cause I'm corpse-like.
The other 3 shadows I can and do wear, however they have a lot of shimmer so be prepared if you don't like shimmer.
The blush is great - a mauvey/apricot that gives a healthy glow. Gloss is a very sheer, cool-toned pink - which doesn't look too great on me worn alone but over a warmer lip is fine.
The Lip/Cheeck stain is a red-brown brick color, which actually does look very nice on my skin when applied rather sheer.
Overall it has good pigmentation, the products are a good quality etc...so I give 4 lippies.

PROS: I absolutely LOVE the products in this palette. All the eyeshadows are very flattering on my asian NC40 skin, and they are super soft and have great shimmer. The black shadow works well as an eyeliner w/ a flat liner brush.
CONS: It's bad for constant traveling (don't tote it around all day). I had a very negative experience with the packaging. The hinges on the lid snapped off a few weeks after I bought it, and the lip gloss completely melted (and ran into my Persuasion shadow). I was carrying it around in my makeup bag that I take to work, and left it in my car (although it wasn't THAT hot outside...about 70 F). If you buy this, be careful not to leave it anywhere warm, because the gloss has a very low melting point, and be gentle with the case. Other than those two gripes, I totally loved the products and combination of colors.

I love the colors in this palette. Very warm and natural. The blush is so natural it does not look like you are wearing makeup exactly, same with the lighter (light taupe) eyeshadows.
My only complaint is that after about 8 months, the "CD lid" snapped off (gimmicky packaging), so now it's kind of a mess to deal with. No biggie.

This is my first LORAC purchase and I'm not disappointed! Actually, going into Sephora, I had no intent of looking at the Greatest Hits CD (I went in to look at the Stila Fierce Palettes), but I have to say, I'm glad the rep showed me this one. I was kinda eh on the Stila (too shimmery, and since this was my first time really experimenting with shimmer, I didn't want to go overboard), I really liked how the the LORAC looked. Admittedly, I wasn't a 100% sure when I left the store, but I've been playing around with all the colors on the palette and they're all so pretty together! I'm a NC40, olive skinned Asian chick, and the whole palette works for me. A little pricey, but worth it!

W/brown eyes and olive skin, i couldnt decide between this CD and the other, so i bought both on separate occassions. This one has a great warm tone to it. I can wear all the shadows, (cool coppers, golds and beige). The only color i havent tried yet is the brick colored lip gloss/cheek. Very useable and great for travel.

I've been on a HG palette hunt for awhile now-this one did not make it in the top 5. It's the same problem I have with alot of Palette-love some items, but others don't work. In this one, the eyeshadows were disappointing because I only liked two out of the five-which is not good after spending $50. The base color and black are great but I don't know how on earth anyone could look good in the super shimmery pink, gold, and rust colors-made me sooo washed out. If I could pop these suckers out-then the rest of the collection is great. On that note-I always prefer interchangable palettes. Trish McEvoy has the smartest packaging ever. Anyways, the search contiues................

A LORAC make-up artist actually did this palette on me AND he did such an excellent job I purchased it! The colors are great on me(NC42). They're very blendable, don't crease and lasts for a long time. It's also very convenient for travel...I definitely recommend this palette! :o)

This palette consists of five eyeshadows, a blush, a lip/cheek stain and a lipgloss. The quality of the items are very good especially the eyeshadows which are so pigmented and silky. A very versatile palette for a variety of looks. A highly recommended product.

I adore this, it's convenient (lip gloss/eyeshadows/blush/lip/cheek tint all in one place), the quality is wonderful, and the colors together really work for an easy, naturally pretty look. I have a lot of makeup and I seem to always resort to this one stop makeup CD. I love that you can use the dark shadow (Forgot the name) as an eyeliner, the eyeshadows are silky smooth w/ great staying power and a little goes a long way. The lip/cheek tint in red is my absolute fave - so pretty on, makes me look flushed all day long, even in the hot Fla weather. On lips, it makes your lips stained w/ clear gloss on top - so easy to be pretty!

I love this. All the colors are highly wearable, and it's so convenient to toss this, some foundation, a mascara, and a concealer, into the bag for a wekend. I was skeptical that I could wear the red/brown cheek/lip color, but I can, and I *never* wear red. The only thing I cannot use is the black eyeshadow, not even when applied as a liner with a tiny angled brush. Black doesn't work on me at all. I don't even wear black mascara. But if you do, this would be perfect.
LORAC is a line I think I'm going to explore a bit more.

Pretty eyeshadows, very wearable colors. Even the lipstain which looks way too "brick" for me, worked well. This is a great palette to take with you on vacation because all you need is mascara and maybe lipliner and you're good to go.

I have to agree with the other reviewer on this! This is truly one of the best purchases I made in 2001! I got both CD and love them equally. This warm set is gorgeous! Shadows last forever, colors go perfectly together for a perfect face. You cant ask for more with the stunning palette that is top notch quality! I recommend this product!
