Nice luxury exfoliator to have. Smells great, extremely gentle exfoliation of the skin and leaves the face moisturized. I like the smell and ingredients. The gel to oil transformation on the face is a pretty nifty process.
As for continually repurchasing this, it won't happen. It's a nice luxury to have, but definitely for people with extremely sensitive skin or who just need the absolute minimum in exfoliation.

This is one of my favourite skin products. I think it may be discontinued though - does anyone know? Luckily I bought two last time so I think that will last me for years.
Leaves my skin soft, moisturised and glowing, removes loose flaky skin but doesn't deeply exfoliate.

This is a great little product but I have to agree with previous reviews.While it feels luxurious and will leave your skin soft as silk, the exfoliating power is close to zero.
I am lucky, I have pretty good skin , I don't need much exfoliation- and when I do I use my dermalogica or clarins anyway- so this is just for when I feel lazy and don't want my face covered in white.
I just use 2 sized peas and hop in the shower with it. I like that I have it in small tube, so it help getting the right amount out, which incidently is very small for the whole face and neck.
In terms of texture, this remind me strongly of another product I use- the Annayake creme de massage, but this one has its own league entirely for its benefits.
I hear the price is quite expensive, but can't comment since I got my supply ( 20 tubes of 15 ml) for a mere $10.
And since one of these 15 ml tube last quite a while ( still using tube #1, and it's been 5 months@once a week) I suspect I will never have to buy it ever again.
It is nice, and won't irritate your skin, will leave it soft and glowing, but I'll only recommend it to people who don't need deep exfoliation, becaue then you'd be wasting your money.

Great exfoliator which left my face so smooth and glowing after using. However, took away a lippie cuz I do not like the strong fragrant, felt that I could taste it on my lips after washing it off.

I got this as a GWP, but id been uoset if i spent any money on this item. It feels good, I love using it, but not for what it does, just how it feels. Its a very gentle exfo, but really there is no exfo going on! lol
Its not worth the money, cheaper drug store is way better and effective.
If you have the money to spare then its a treat, don't expect it to work wonders

Let me tell you the truth. This product definitely isn't scrub of any kind, just thick oil cleanser. We all know how oil cleansers are effective at removing makeup, debris and stuff, but they certainly can't exfoliate.
So if you think you need to spend so much for beautiful packed oil cleanser that is rather thick than runny, then go for it. But still you won't convince this is a scrub, because it is not. :-)
Hope I have helped someone to spare some valuable earned money:-)

it is more of a treatment for people who have barely any need for exfoliation. Will not work on dry patches, and on dry areas around the nose. If you have very dry and fine skin though, you might give it a try.

This is the only exfoliator that doesn't irritate my super dry, eczema-prone skin. Leaves my skin smooth but not stripped, and does the same for my friend whose complection is quite oily.

I use a stronger scrub once a week, especially when my skin is dry, and I use this once a week. It is really gentle and does not irritate my skin at all. It's great for the summer or when on vacation and I don't feel like I need a heavy duty scrubbing. When I first purchased this I thought it was kind of expensive for the size tube but mine has lasted me for what feel like forever so it was worth the price. I will buy it again when I'm out.

This is not so much a scrub as it is an emollient cleanser meant to be used dry. There are no physical abrasives (as indicated on the product) nor are there chemical exfoliants present (and even if they are, they would just be rinsed off). It leaves skin feeling smooth because of the moisturising agents it contains, and is therefore an option for normal to dry skin.

Got this in a GWP set. I can't use abrasive exfoliants because they irritate my skin and give me bumps. Besides, they are too abrasive and not a very graceful thing to do to one's self- even La Mer Refining Facial, that people claim luxurious and gentle, is (although EL laced it with heavy base and tons of shimmery particles to fool you into thinking that it isn't!) . My hands should never touch my face except in a loving way only, any other way then it should be left to professionals.
This is a thick grease that is worked into a delightful butter by the warmth of your skin. I have never enjoyed massaging my face like this before- I tap and massage with my fingers for 5 minutes. Very luxurious texture. I follow up with my usual skincare routine. My face feels and looks smooth and bright afterwards with oilies at bay. No any visible 'heads' on my skin with this stuff. Beautiful. Need I say I am buying full size?

Great sales technique for this - i was suffering from some dry skin around my nose and its oily consistency made me think it would be great. It had moisturising qualities, but I also needed something which removed dead dry skin - it didn't do it's job!

This is a really amazing, expensive stuff. I am so NOT regretful that I bought it. After I used it a couple of times, my skin became so smooth and clean. It's really wonderful, that scrub can be so gentle!
Ofcourse I'll buy it again.

I have used this for years. Have gone through 3-4 tubes. And still comes back to it.
It's a very gentle scrub, helps removed those tiny bumps, gives radiance to the skin, non-abrasive, non-drying, and leaves skin feeling smooth and soft. The only thing is like all YSL products, it is highly fragranced. Else, I highly recommend this.

OMG!!!! I am usually a fan of VERY abrasive exfoliators because I feel like I can "feel" them working...however, I received a sample of this and literally went out the very next day to buy the full size product. It truly left my face feeling so smooth, soft and glowing! If you try this product make sure you follow the instructions. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

If you, like me, have dry, sensitive skin and problems with flakies when you use foundation - powder or otherwise, I highly recommend this exfoliator. There are no grains so your skin doesn't become irritated or torn up in any way. You apply to a dry face and massage until the texture liquefies. Rinse and pat dry and you're that much closer to a smooth application of foundation. I have used this before applying foundations that tend to create flakies and when I do I have a change of heart about the foundation. I don't like to overmoisturize to get a foundation to feel right. Feels like this is just masking the problem. Once I use this exfoliator I don't have this problem. I use it 3 -4 x/week. It comes in a tube 2.5 fluid ounces. An excellent product for those with sensitive skin that don't tolerate scrubs with grains.

Without a doubt one of my all time favorite beauty items, When I use this Gommage, it is amazing how great my face feels and looks. I also love the scent of the gommage. It rinses so well and leaves no nasty residue of any kind. And my skin.....after using this, I can't stop touching my face to feel how soft it is. I will definitely keep using this time and time again.

WOw after massaging it into my skin it becomes more liquidy and warm and rinses away clean. Leaves my skin GLOWING but not dry at all, makes my skin feel smoother and softer to the touch and the effects last about a day . Hasn't made me break out, it's a really nice product. A little goes a long way, just be patient till it starts to "melt" into the face.
