I'm so sad that this isn't available on the Chantecaille website (or on the Neiman Marcus site either). It's my HG lipstick - just enough color but not too densely pigmented. I don't do glosses because they wear off too fast, and this formulation seems to be matte enough to stay on, but is not drying. Subtle but perfect. You can layer it for more effect. I have to go to the brick-n-mortar NM store for this, and I hope they don't stop making it!

ahhh... chantecaille has come out with new products and raised their prices yet again. unfortunately both have caused me to end our love affair after much soul searching and tears;p
pomegranat is supposed to be a red soft sheer satin lipstick. if this were true i would have decided on a renewal of vows ceremony instead of handing chanetcaille walking papers. on me it was dry, more than my nars lippies and mattish without the pigment. it was orangy and unflattering though i look good in orange. it was like a tomato crossed withan orange. it didn't have the texture of their regular lipsticks (or the sheers for that matter) or the depth of the sheers. it fell far short of the soft pigment texture. i found it sheerish and dry and no better than a drugstore product.
In short chantecaille has let herself go and demands more of my money and time. i believe in comittment, but she is too high maintenance for my sanity;p
