I actually got a whole bunch of samples of this product from Sephora. I had told the consultant my wedding day was coming up and she swore by these, so I tried them out.
A friend of mine had suffered some a miscarriage a few days prior and I spent a good 2 days bawling = red, itchy, dry, flaky skin.
Using this product along with an intensive moisturizer seriously saved my skin :) Is it worth the cost to always have it around? Not for me really, but I am super glad I had it the past week!

Smells and looks disgusting, the results weren't noteworthy.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Sensitive, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
Yuck! This smells and looks like rotton roses...Hardly did anything for my skin, Not worth the price!

This is a nice luxury but to be honest I don't feel like it really does much for my skin. I am very results oriented, and once I rinse this off I don't really feel any lasting effects. Meh.

I bought this mask on the recommendation of a friend who swears that this is super-hydratng for her in winter. Her skin is normal. My skin is combination-dry. I think the reason for the varied reviews here could be that this mask is not suitable for all skin types. It smells heavenly, has a thin gel consistency and you can see many rose petals in it. It comes in a heavy ceramic jar. I pour out about a quater-sized dollop and appy it with a foundation brush (so it doesn't drip down my fingers).
On application, it feels cool. Then there is a slight stinging senstion for me. I know my friend does not experience this. After the prescribed time, I rinse it off. The whole experience feels very spa-like and it is a treat for the senses. However, it did not hydrate my skin any more than if I had not used it. I'm down to half a jar and will continue using it till it's all gone because it is really pricey for what it does/doesnt do for my skin. If you have to choose, get Rose hydrating gel cream instead. That one really does what it says!

The packaging and the light rose scent make the experience of putting on this mask very luxurious. The mask itself is okay ... you'll get similar results from an aloe vera and honey mask. I won't purchase a second one, but I will keep the ceramic jar and fill it with my homemade mask.

There are things I liked about this mask but it in no way is worth the price. It's a very emollient gel with rose bits. When applied, there is a nice cooling effect and the gel calms the skin. After removal, your skin is left feeling comfortable and moist.
Cons - It is not worth the price tag. There are no long lasting benefits. It's more of a sensation mask. It gives a nice sensation upon application.

I really like this mask. It not make me feel oliy and I only remove it with wet pad. It make me sky feel fresh and I highly recommend it!!

I have dry cheeks, oily t-zone, and am prone to general redness. This mask calms everything down and leaves my skin fresh and glowy. Usually I use it before bed but it is also great before applying makeup. The rose scent and gel like consistency are just wonderful. A word about the price- it is about 10.00 an ounce but a little of this goes a very long way....I can't see having to repurchase for a very long time, but when the times come, I definitely will!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Not surprised by this rose mask at all. The only good takes of this are smells great, used real rose, and moisturizing.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Smells good but not effective...doesn't work for my skin.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
Smells good and looks good, but it did nothing for my dry skin...expensive...won't buy again......didn't see any difference in skin

I am surprised this mask is only ranked below 4. It is one of the best masks I bought. I have used it for 5 jars! it is very moisturizing, nutritious, and calming. Most important, it is not creamy at all. I hate those creamy moisturizing masks. It smells good too

This mask is the most expensive mask that I've ever tried. It looks great, and I like the bottle. When I apply the mask, I feel like in the heaven. I like rose very much. After using the first time, my skin was really hydrated. But the biggest problem is....it's too pricy. For the same effect, I don't think I'll buy this hydrating mask again.

I bought the full size product after loving a sample from Sephora that I received. I loved the sample like crazy but I'm just about finished with my full size jar and I'm not so much in love with it anymore. I said that I would buy the product again....I might but I'm going to start looking around for a mask that works better for me.
Pros: The scent it really nice and not overwhelming, the mask itself feels nice and the small pieces of rose petals seem to melt into the skin. The mask does hydrate but (see cons).
Cons: The effect doesn't seem to last very long or as long as I felt it should. The price is a little steep but I loved the sample so much I coughed up the bucks for the full size. I have sensitive skin and for some reason the product slightly burned my cheeks some times. The sample never did so I'm not quite sure why I felt that hot sensation, it could be that I had exfoliated to roughly before putting on the mask but I'm not positive. I really feel that there are better hydrating masks out there for the price. It's an okay product I just feel that I have more searching to do in finding the best one for my skin.

I love this mask, it's thin gel like quality. When you rinse it off your hydrated. You look so beautiful. The price is a little high but it's worth it for the results I get. I get free samples at sephora's. I am losing hydration and this mask is my friend. I would always keep this product around.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Black
The smell is heavenly and the rose petals in the mask are a nice touch. Skin is left velvety and pores are smaller after application. This is one of the few products that I know I can always rely on. It is not ALWAYS on my beauty shelf, but I definitely fall back to it once in a while.

Great product for all gel texture lovers! It smells divine, once you put it on it feels like a heavenly spa treatment on your face. However the hydration is not that superb, I still have to put on moisturizer after, since my skin is so dry. It is just a nice product to refresh your face, or just do something nice for yourself after a hard day of work.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Oily, Fair Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue
This mask is super hydrating! Sometimes I use it in conjunction with the Sugar Face Polish mask (put the polish on first then this rose mask). This mask reduces redness and makes the surface of my skin smooth.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Normal, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Blue
The Rose facial mask leaves my skin so smooth, supple, hydrated, and baby soft. Such a gentle on the skin mask with no worries of skin irratation occuring.
