I got this as a present, and actually really like it. On my very pale skin this is a nudey-pink, one of the few nudes to actually look good on me. Haven't had any problems with the formula, I apply 2 coats and the 2nd is even and non-streaky.
Edit: Guess I reviewed this too soon. Had to take this down from 4 lippies. Lasting power is horrible! I used this on my toenails, where nail polish usually survives at least a couple of weeks for me, and this chipped on both big toes by the 3rd day. This has NEVER happened to me, shame on you,China Glaze!

I've been desperately searching for this colour, I choose this colour at my nail salon every single time. The women ask me to choose a different shade but I refuse unless it's a special event I'm sticking with Great Barrier Beige. I can't say anything about application since someone else does it for me and it always looks great.
I adore this colour, beautiful, chic and understated. Some people hate these types of shades but I prefer neutral shades for work or during the week.
Otherwise, I found the polish is great with 2 applications. Then top coat. I don't know if its the china glaze formula but i found it never chipped. Instead it would somewhat crack after 4 or 5 days, depending on how much cooking/cleaning I do. But I need to find a bottle of this, I know it was a limited edition so I might be out of luck.

I love this color on my skintone (my face is MAC NC30/C3). The only problem that I have with this polish is that it goes on a little streaky. I wouldn't repurchase this one, but I would like to find a similar color form a different brand.

ITA with the previous reviewer, the quality of this nailpolish is very disappointing. In the bottle, Great Barrier Beige looks like a pinkish stone putty creme. Looks like it would be great color for short squared toes/tips, especially with a tan. However, the application is streaky, uneven, and goopy, and this is still apparent after 3-4 layers. Frankly I don't have the time nor the patience to work with Great Barrier Beige. I'll keep this color because of sentimentality reasons (I lived and worked in Australia for a year) but I would not repurchase. Too bad, if not for the application issues I can see a lot of use for this nailpolish. I'll keep looking for a better twin.

Part of the Down Under collection, this is very much like OPIís Miso Happy with This Color but more putty-beige. Disappointingly difficult to work with Ė streaky and goopy, even if the end result was a pretty, neutral manicure.
