This gel-cream texture absorbs very quickly and delivers nice clarifying results within 6 weeks. Sensitive skin might want to use it 3 times a week. The SA recommended me not to use this everyday but as an exfoliating treatment. That'll depend on your skin type.
As far as packaging, it comes with a little spatula to dip the product. A little goes a long way (use the small hand of spatula for the entire face and neck)
As far of results, I see a difference of brightness on my skin. Nothing spectacular but it is a product that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and feels good on application. Will definitely repurchase. I also bought their "brightening serum supreme" which I ended up returning. The bright serum did not do much for me after 6 weeks using it. The clarifying emulsion is not intended for brown spots but I felt the results for clarifying my complexion and making it more even was far better than the brightening serum.
As far of smell...it's a little bit granny for my taste. But again, it doesn't irritate my skin and is not unpleasant either...rrr...I guess I even like it at this point!

I use this in combination with the Cle de Peau Gentle Cleansing Foam and my skin feels and looks amazing. After using all over my face a few times, I learned that I need to use a little less on my t-zone and more on my cheeks. Although very expensive, this has replaced my Shiseido sirum so it ended up costing about $55 more than I would normally spend. I will continue to use it as long as I can afford it.

After checking the reviews here, I decided to get one for myself. I should say it worth the money I spent, it can be daily cream and the massage cream as well. and the concept, it can remove the dead cells of the skin daily, I like this. and, it works ! after about 2 weeks, my skin looks more clear.
in the first 2 days, the skin has experience some tiny ichy feelings, guess the skin needs to get used to it, the feeling stop after 5 applications.
my skin is conbine and I live in norther China, which is quite dry. I assume that if I use this at winters, I need to apply addtional cream.
1 reminder: Do wear sun lotion after you apply this Emulsion Eclat in daytime.
would highly recommend. you will find it very convinent especially when you need to travel a lot. 1 bottle, daily cream and massage cream.

I can't believe there are so little reviews on such a fantastic product! This product works!! I had really dry complexion with red patches on my skin and after using this for several days, my skin improved drastically.
I tried Revive's famous Moisturizing Renewal Cream which has Glycolic Acid in it, but the ingredients are way too active on my sensitive skin and also makes my face sting each time I put it on. Once I switched to another line, boy did I realize how good CDP products are. With that said, I love the light scent & the packaging & the moisture it provides. On top of it, I love waking up to my glowing skin every morning!

i didnt exactly buy this product, my mom goes to a cosmetics store in englewood, nj all the time and they give her samples all the time, and they gave her a bunch of these along with the energizing essence? so i started using this in conjunction with the energizing essence, not sure if youre allowed to do that, but let me tell you, my skin is like, glowing. my skin has been irritable lately, but the combination of these two lotions makes my skin soft, smooth, non-irritated. not sure how expensive this is, but id buy it again if i cant get more samples :P also, the packaging for this is prob better than what it comes in normally. i think it looks like a jar but the samples come in a squeeze tube, very convenient, and you dont need much at all!

I've been using this moisturizer for a few weeks now and I'm impressed with the results. Though I'm a PPP, I have an oily thick skin and my pores clog easily - especially around my nose. I'm having peels done on a monthly basis and using retin-a every other night. I use the CDp eclat in the mornings under my make up and it does seem to do what it says. My skin is clear and my pores are less clogged. Plus, my makeup goes on smoother. It is expensive, but I can see that it will last me a long time as only a little is needed. I haven't been overly impressed with most dept. store skincare, but this stuff seems to work. I guess for the price tag, it should!! LOL.

I can't believe there is only one more person that reviewed this product. This is hands down my favourite skincare product of all time. I have combo skin that is just so difficult to keep happy. My t-zone tends to get oily and break out a lot while my cheeks will dehydrate and flake. Everything I've ever tried either was too oily for my t-zone and broke me out or not hydrating enough for my cheeks. My nose accumulates black and white heads no matter how often i use the exfoliant and what type of moisturizer i was using. Until I met emulsion eclat. It somehow hydrates my cheeks yet keep my t-zone from breaking out. And it also keeps the white and black heads away. My skin tone looks even, my skin looks radiant and clear. My mom took it with her when she went traveling and I thought I could live without it while she was away (which was for like 2 months) and my skin quickly disintegrated into its former state. I didn't realize how much emulsion eclat was helping me until i stopped using it. When my mom came back and forgot to bring back my emulsion eclat, I quickly decided it was time for me to get a new jar. It is pricey but really worth it and it lasts a long time. I don't think I'll ever part with it again.

This is a great hydrating product as well as a gentle exfoliant. I use this once in a while when I feel my skin needs it. It's got a great texture and it doesn't lay on the surface like La Creme. It's great as a mask and on airplanes. I happen to use Re Vive Serum Protectif and Moisturizing Renewal Cream, both of which have generous amounts of Glycolic Acid in them, so when I feel like giving my skin a break, I use this under my moisturizers, sometimes alone. The L-Serine in this product is what does BOTH the hydrating AND exfoliating. If you want more exfoliation, use Serum Eclat - Clarifying Serum instead. Remember to use the Serum BEFORE your Balancing Lotion step. The Emulsion is used AFTER Balancing Lotion.
