Im a product junkie and Im always, always switching products. Im on my third bottle of this which is quite the accomplishment for me - I love this stuff!
I was using the Clear Complexion makeup before this one, and although I was really impressed with it, it was too drying for my already dry/sensitive skin. So I decided to try this one out.
This has the perfect amount of moisturizer in it (I dont even need a regular moisturizer underneath it) and the Ivory shade matches my skin perfectly. It lasts pretty much all day and looks great on top of my Smashbox photo finish primer.
I give it a 4 because its kind of expensive for the amount that you get, and the packaging is pretty crappy too. Its hard to get all the product out.

This foundation covers fairly well, better than my new favorite by Maybelline, and the color I've got (Sand/Sable) is quite natural. What I can't get over is the scent of this stuff...I've never had a foundation that reeks to high heaven like this does. And I don't mean a perfumey smell...this is more chemical or something. Not pleasant at all, enough to make me never want to buy this one again!

I like this foundation quite a bit. It is a heavier feeling foundation which I find provides good coverage since I have rosacea and always am on the lookout for something to cover my cheek redness. My skin feels smooth after applying. It doesn't settle into my fine lines and wrinkles. It is probably too heavy for summertime when my skin tends to be more oily so I will need to evaluate it then to see if I still like it.

This foundation clogged my pores and I felt that its coverage is no better than the cheaper foundations that are found at the drugstore. Once again this foundation proved to be another Almay disaster for my skin!

I use this product as undereye conceallor and I love it. It matches perfectly with my skin and it firms the puffiness under my eyes when I haven't had a lot of sleep.

I did like this product although there were a few things I'd like to have changed. First of all it was easy to apply and blended in better than any foundations like this i've ever used but having said this the stick that you use to apply it could be better designed. it's like a weird ball on the end of a stick and i'm really not sure why they decided to do this but I think it's better to use your own foundation brush (I use one of the chanel ones). Also, you do find that through the day it seems to fade and if you're needing a look to last all day then you may need to reapply half way through the way! Apart from this it is very delicate on skin and doesn't feel heavy at all. I will buy again

I love this stuff! My biggest makeup problem was that I don't like wearing heavy makeup due to oily skin, and I don't like wearing makeup around my eyes or mouth because during the day after I smile the makeup always seems to crease the lines (whereas without makeup on these areas the lines go away). This Almay when applied only on my eyes and mouth area is great. I actually like it on my cheeks because it makes pores less visible; unfortunately it is too heavy for me to wear everyday on my whole face as it makes me breakout--but everyday around the eyes and mouth it goes. I will purchase this again.

This is a nice foundation for the price - good coverage, staying power. The little wand in the lid is handy for getting the product out, though it is difficult to get the last parts of the product out of the jar. But for the price, I can just get a fresh one :)

This is one of the best foundations I've ever used, drugstore, department store, e-tailer, whatevah.
It' is blendable, creamy, yet easy to apply evenly, not cakey, no bad smell, color is good & best of all IT DOESN"T IRRITATE OR BREAK OUT my super sensitive slightly acne prone skin!
Yay!

I've been using this about a month, and so far no real complaints. I dab it on with clean fingers and smooth it across any area of my face that needs coverage. The texture is silky and I do think that the foundation gives a very smooth and glowing appearance to the skin when used in conjunction with my favorite translucent powder. Not sure what the Kinetin is doing, but I do not break out and I do not get dry skin from this foundation. Just a nice smooth feeling, which is what is advertised. Only 4 lippies since I would prefer that it gives a bit more coverage. As it is, some of my skin imperfections show through, so this is more like a skin consistent-izer than a concealer for me. Makes my skin look even and smooth, but not necessarily without blemish. Definitely will purchase again and use with a concealer to get the appropriate coverage.

It has a neat little applicator and the name implies that it is nice and soothing, however a few people have broken out in a rash from it. Personally, I did not like it because it was really thick and it never really blended in to my skin, it just sort of sat on top of my skin and it never dried. I kind of like the smell though.

Just wanted to let everyone know this product is being discontinued. I got it straight from Almay's 800 number. So, if you are considering buying it, you may as well select another foundation that will be out there longer. This is "Bye-Bye."

I really like this foundation for when my skin is broke out and i need a lot of coverage. It really hides blemishes quite well! I would not recommend this if your skin is oily. I can definetly see this product (because it is so thick) breaking out your skin if you use it frequently, like on a daily basis, and if you dont thoroughly wash it all off at the end of the day. i did not find this to break out my skin but i dont use it all the time and when i do use it i really focus on washing it all off!

On days when I need more coverage I go for this (other days it's Bare Escentuals). It's a thick foundation, but you can make it much more sheer if you use a foundation brush to apply it. I've never had any problems with Almay foundations (used to use Skin Stays Clear many years ago and that did exactly what it said it did) and I find their colour range to be really good. I've been using this foundation most days for about three months now and have to say that my skin hasn't been this well-behaved for a long while! It hasn't reduced the size of my pores at all (I use Clinique pore minimiser to solve that problem!), but I've had no blackheads or monthly spots on the chin. I can't say it completely down to using this foundation though. My HG foundation was an Agnes b foundation which is impossible to get in the UK now, so my search continues for a foundation which matches Agnes b. Don't think I'll repurchase this Almay one, even though it's pretty good.

I really like this foundation. I thought it would be heavy coverage when I noticed the applicator (which are usually used for heavy foundations). I borrowed this from my mother, who sort of has the same skin as me (same genes, I guess!) so I thought I would like it too. It glides on smoothly and is thick for a while but then once you blend, is shher to medium coverage. It doesn't dry completely, at least not to my knowledge ( I am in a hurry in the morning and quickly set makeup with powder) I set with my powder and it looks very smooth because it doens't dry to a matte finish and make you look caked or dry. This is what I love so much about this. It really males your skin look smooth and luminous. I have dry, sensitive skin that gets oily on my nose and a little on cheeks throughout the day, but if I use a matte foundation i get dry in places while oily everywhere. (I dont know why). This foundation lasted all day with only 2 touchups on and around my nose. Great staying power. The only thing i will be looking for is clogged pores or breakouts. I will update if this occurs.

I've been using this for a couple of months, I'm quite happy with it. When it sets it is so non-tacky I can sweep my MAC powder blush on top no problem! I don't need to use a powder on top to set this, which is wonderful. I used to worry about transferring my foundation onto my collars, etc., but with this foundation it's not that much of a concern (though I don't recommend rubbing your face with your shirt -- it WILL come off!).
I have Neutral 04 which may be a tad too light for my slightly lighter than NC35 complexion, but it still works fine. I might try a shade darker, though. The finish is quite natural-looking, not too matte but not super-dewy. The smell doesn't bother me, it's fairly light.
I kind of like the ball-tip on the inside of the cap because I used to waste a lot of q-tips getting the foundation out of my other foundation bottle. I just dab the ball on the back of my left hand and use the fingers on my right to apply it. Sometimes the neck of the bottle does get gooey though, but it is a helpful feature overall.
Coverage is light-medium, doesn't cover everything. I still need to use a concealer on my acne scars. This is only the second foundation I've tried (my first was a discontinued Aveda product), so I may look around a bit more before settling on this.

at first i thought i liked this foundation, but after a couple days, i broke out like crazy. now when i scratch my cheek or forehead, so many of these tiny hard whitish bumps come out of my pores its disgusting. i also got acne&pimples on my forehead now and my forehead was the only place on my face where it was clear! it definately clogs your pores. dont believe in that stuff it says on the bottles that say doesnt clog pores etc

I did nottt like this foundation. It felt like a mask, it melted. It stung. But my opinion prolly isnt the greatest because most foundations do. It just looked too "made up" to me. DID nottt past the light test. Not a great selection of colors.

I liked the colors and the concept of this foundation... but it was VERY thick.. I mean gel kinda thick. It gives good coverage and it does seem smooth, but it broke me out like no other. I much orefer Almay's skin stays clean or blemish healing make-up...
