Hi,
I think this bronzer is ok. I have combo/oily skin and it just had too much shimmer and sparkle for me. I think it's better for dryer skin types because the shimmer just emphasizes the oil and acne if u have it.

Love this color. I have been looking for a fairlypriced bronzer to contour (as I don't contour often) and I loved this. It's light-weight & doesn't require a lot for good coverage. Definitely helps achieve the most perfect glow.

I decided to purchase this product after falling in love with the Iman sheer finish bronzer in Afterglow. I love this bronzer and I wear it as a highlight. I found that in the pan, I kept going to the clay portion of it. I don't like much color on my skin. When you swirl the Afterglow pan you will get a hint of color. Nevertheless, I decided to purchase the clay bronzer. This bronzer is more amazing than the Afterglow. I can wear it everyday for a nice glow without looking sparkly. It blends so well with my skin color, so much so that I can't believe it does so well. Anyway, I think WOC should definitely make this a staple in your makeup kit. I love it!

When I first bought this brought I used it for what it was intended for...bronzer...i would apply it below my blush, or in place of my blush...and I loved it...I am NC45/50 in MAC foundation, N7 in MAC F&B..this bronzer works amazing for that purpose. I actually prefer it better than MAC because sometimes MAC bronzer can make you look overly orange or cakey...it is also much more refined than MAC, with the consistancy more similar to a face powder.

I use 2 different bases on my face: MAC F&B foundation and MAC Select Moisture Tint tinted moisturizer, and MAC MSFN to set...and they are all perfect matches to my skin. Adding this as an all over face color give my face an amazing glow. As mentioned it is very finely milled, it is also very pigmented. a light dusting of this with a kabuki brush all over my face makes my skin glow and look flawless. I love it, way better than any super highend bronzer/all over face powder that ive tried. It does not look sparkly so I can buff it in all over my face and neck...and I love the way it looks on my skin (there but invisible)!

Writing this review has made me so happy I think Im going to buy another one today JIC I run out of the one that I have...oh yea...it lasts FOREVER...I use it almost everyday, and Ive had it for over a year now and ive barely made a dent in it! If you are a brown/darker skinned woman I highly suggest that you check it out, it is amazing and I wonderful purchase. :)

I dont use or buy bronzers to begin with so no, I wouldnt buy this again. I got this in sample size from a gift set my sister gave me. I use it as an eyeshadow! Its the perfect neutral shimmery shade for my skin tone. Its very pigmented! I would buy this again but not as a bronzer!

Not sure how to apply this bronzer in its best way. It has some shimmer, but not too much, which I prefer. However, I think its too dark and muddy looking for me. (Reference: NC45/NW40). I should try this in the lighter tone, Sand. UPDATE: I'm adding a lippie or two because this is the perfect contour powder because it's dark and subtle, but also has a nice sheen, not shimmer or glitter, to it.

The Iman Sand Bronzer is my HG bronzer, BUT I love this shade to deepen it a little on my cheeks for contrast/contour/blush. These are the best bronzers I have ever tried and I have tried a lot especially being multi-racial and of African descent...we need bronzer to not look washed out, too when we are not quite brown... And most bronzers are either pink, orange, glittery or just make your face look dirty or gray/green when you are not pale... GO IMAN!

. I never wear foundation, coverup, or compact because it's so difficult to match my skin tone. I have tried Bare Essentials, MAC ect. and the employees all tell me that because my forehead is darker and I have so much red in my skin, it's too difficult to find a color that matches me exactly. A few have actually suggested that I buy two or three different shades and apply them to my face( @ $30 a pop, I think I can understand why.) Finding a bronzer for my tone has also been a challenge. Many bronzers leave my face looking muddy, ashy, or cakey so I just stay away from them as well even though I love the look. I drove to Inglewood yesterday and picked up the sheer finishing bronzer in Clay because I have been hearing so much about it and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I really like Clay. Not only did it NOT change the color of my skin but it gave it this gorgeous glow and eveness. I dab MAC concealer on my blemishes with a concealer brush and then sweep bronzer over it. My skin truly looks FLAWLESS. It doesn't look heavy or cakey at all just beautiful glowing skin. I was shocked that a drugstore brand could give me such fabulous results for $12.The only thing that I hate is the cheap makeup sponge that comes with it and that Iman's products are sold at very limited areas. It's very hard to come by. I end up using a blush brush for better coverage.

I wish there were a "maybe" option for "Would you buy this product again?" because that is what I would choose. I love bronzer and when I saw how cheap this was I thought I would give it a try. It is very sheer, as the name implies, and it gives a very subtle golden highlight to the cheeks. I don't really need it, but it was only $12 and I like to have options. It's similar in color to NARS's Casino, but it is much more sheer and obviously lacks the quality of NARS, although that's not to say that it's quality isn't decent. The packaging however is super cheap, but it does have a mirror and an under compartment for a sponge.

This is a staple for me. Perfect for contouring my face; cheeks, nose, and hair line. It is a sheer warm-brown color with a slight gold/bronze shimmer. Adds the perfect amount of warmth to my complexion/foundation(dark brown with yellow & red undertone) without looking muddy. This is one of my favorite Iman products. Cost $11 at Walmart, Target, ULTA, or Duane Reade. ***** UPDATE: 1/27/06***** Since going drugstore the color is less red, and more golden. Adds subtle golden-bronze sunkissed shimmer to the skin. Works well as a sheer wash for shadows and highlight(brow bone & cheeks). Iman Clay bronzer, mascara, gloss, and e/l makes a complete look. The love affairs continues!!!!! If you were a fan of the discontined department store Iman Clay Bronzer, try NYX 'Pecan' Blush.
