Í am having an olfactory orgasm here! Sex in a bottle is darn right!!! - an amazing aphrodisiac, that has an indomitable staying power and could not possibly be more feminine bordering on "drag queen"in the best sense of it! Leather, cherry brandy and some serious sweaty sex stuff! And yes, I have worn it to the office! It is by no way offensive to others, but it also leaves no doubts to those who might be wondering what's on the wearer's mind. And it will be, after the very first spray! It gave me a very much-needed back then "je ne sais quoi" feel about myself and definitely unleashed some demons into the boudoir part of everyday. I never felt more confident and powerful as a woman while I wore it. It has been a while since , because I just had to try everything else out there, but in my heart (and nose!) I know this is THE HG, I just need to play around a little bit longer and then come back and never stray again. :) Definitely not for summertime, strictly evening/cold season stuff. The bottle is fabulous, the contents are divine, but you have to live up to it. Wallflowers, steer clear of this, seriously.

A stunning scent that is complex and interesting. Sexy as hell. Just tried the new Coco Noir today and the Westwood leaves it for dead on so many levels.
Someone suggested that Boudoir is reminiscent of Giorgio but I fail to see the connection.
This is a unique fragrance with great silage and long lasting. Try before you buy but definitely try.

Got to be one of the sexiest perfumes ever. This one used to be positively carnal in its appetite. However the last bottle had been cleaned up and was less skanky. It is basically a huge heavily indolic white floral. The 'used underwear' note that used to make it so memorable has been toned down but is still there. Try to get the orange rather than the pink juice if you can and don't overspray, this tiger has teeth! Not suitable for the office or school but for a night out or a very dirty weekend this is perfect. Have and will repurchase.

Reminds me very much of Giorgio. A loud, sweet, creamy 80s style white floral & amber that, again, reminded me a lot of Giorgio.

Yes yes yes!
This makes me want to throw on a sexy vintage dress and all the classic undergarments to go with: Thigh highs, garter, and a corset.
Boudoir is her name and seduction is her game. Like a wild flower slowly spreading her delicate petals to reveal her hidden treasure. She has an agenda, and it involves foreplay. I have never experienced such an olfactory journey like Boudoir. I find it playful and a real tease. She's the type that will have you jaw dropped and salivating before she'll give up the goods.... but damn is it worth the wait. I did not experience the "dirty undies" everyone talks about.... only dry cinnamon and tobacco, which is actually quite beautiful. The rose is there too, her petals a little ravished after her romp. And there is a sweet, grown up vanilla amongst the combination, like a secret spectator spying on a threesome. I cannot pick up anything else so far, besides these 3 and the juicy, bright aldehydes in the opening... but it was my first try. I'm sure Boudoir will continue to surprise me though. This vixen knows how to keep my attention.
I've been looking for a perfume to define that "peak" (if you know what I mean) that I have reached at 33, where I am owning it and loving every minute of it , too. I think Boudoir has captured this moment for me in perfume form. I'm thrilled to have this in my collection. Just need to test it out in public and see what happens...
Update: Husband loves it! His words: "Now you can get rid of every other perfume you own." Finally, I've found one he appreciates. So maybe there is truth after all in the various opinions of Boudoir being a man magnet!

I love McQueen's Kingdom with its whollop of scary cumin, but I was always a little afeared of trying Boudoir unsniffed. A ridiculously cheap deal at my local drugstore convinced me to try it, at least to have as a reference. It's smashingly good: big, old-fashioned, powdery and strident. Perhaps personal chemistry brings out different notes...I get a lot of orange blossom and white florals, which paired wonderfully with the raspy edge of the underlying spice/musk, giving it the feel of human presence.
So refreshing to discover something with such a unique personality!

Notes for Boudoir are viburnum, marigold, orange blossom, orris, rose, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, amber, vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli
Boudoir is a hefty, heady, creamy floral that will probably suit you if you like Fracas, First, or big florals (with bit of sweat.) There is nothing sheer, light, crisp, clean or fresh about this one. It's big, sweet, powdery, creamy, and feminine.
Boudoir is discontinued so buy now if you need some.

I tried this becuase my sister in law wears this and it always smells divine. I guess I associate the smell with her as well. However, I couldn't carry such a strong fragrance unfortunately and even though I tried washing it off, I could still smell it on me for the next few days. It was very heavy (for me) and totally over powering. On my sister in law it smells flirty, fun and sophisticated. It really suits her.

Saw this at London Drugs (Canadian) on boxing day. Never seen or heard of it before so I sniffed. Different so I sprayed some on my hand. My hub and I both think it smells like after-sex. Not necessarily a must-buy but I find it intriguing. This is a bold scent that may not be office-friendly. I think I would stick to her clothes.

My heart has sunk once again. There have been so many fragrances that I have loved and they all seem to be discontinued! This is a one a kind fragrance. Please keep making it. At least let loyal customers know when a product is going to be discontinued.

This is so funny. No one is on the fence about this perfume. You will love or hate this perfume with a passion that may start wars. For myself it's love. It fits on my skin nicely. I have never been told discreetly or indiscreetly that my scent offends and I am not frugal when applying. I spray it on my winter coats, my hair, wrists and ankles. I can be sensitive to scent. Some give me screaming headaches, not this one. My husband loves it but so do my small children. I think it must be a body chemistry thing. Or maybe it is how it affects your emotions? It doesn't feel dirty to me, it feels retro, ladylike, smokey and mysterious all at the same time.

I found this similar to the '80's perfume Charlie on me ~ I have no idea why. It is a bit sexy, too overpowering (and I like powerful scents). The scent intrigued me so I ordered a generous decant and tried it on a few times. It never dried down to anything tolerable. On me it is retro, flowery, just too much. No to repurchasing.

Hmm..this is an odd one. It's not a "bad" scent on me. The initial notes are powdery with a hint of metal beneath...made me think of when you clean coin money. Kinda dry and musty. Not "bad" but it TOTALLY reminded me of perfumes my grandma used to keep on her dresser-she rarely wore fragrance but they were from her "hot to troy" days. Very 1940's is how I think of this-elegant, sexy in a very classic way, like something an old time nightclub diva in a glittery gown, with a flower in her hair, would spray on. It is not something I would wear every day, but when I wanted to rock a little lounge singer glamour, I'd definetly pull this out.
The bottle is gorgeous btw.

Jasmagina! I wouldn't wear this one in pubic. Oops, I meant to say "public." However, I do enjoy the novelty of this scent and its strangeness is addictive.

Sex in a bottle! Honestly this is the most dirty/erotic fragrance that I have smelled so far in my life! Strictly for cold weather and mainly for night time use. You can not actually smell any individual notes, so you cannot really put it into a category (maybe floral oriental?), but it definitely is one of those fragrances that you need to sample just for the experience. There is a very strong metallic note in there that gives this fragrance an interesting edge.Totally original and surprisingly long-lasting too! I am definitely planning to purchase a full bottle (which seems pretty cool).

ideal for winter thats for sure, the new boudoir jouy ( not in this database) is lighter and also a good winter scent.

Other reviewers have described this as a warm, sensual scent. Unfortunately I don't smell anything warm or sensual about it. It is a bit like Hanae Mori Butterfly. I do smell vanilla syrup, strawberry cough syrup, and some ginger beer. To my nose, Boudoir is an interesting fruity, floral, boozy, sweet perfume -- OK too many adjectives -- and from time to time, this is a scent that I am curiously attracted to wearing (or sniffing from a sample vial). But I could not wear this every day, not even once a week, and I won't be purchasing it.

Vivienne Westwood Boudoir rocks!! I completely love this fragrance. Trust what I tell you...nobody else will be wearing this perfume...It could totally be your signature scent. For me, it's my "good-girl-gone-bad" perfume...To spice things up a little bit, I'll wear it to work on bright sunny Monday mornings..Just to spice things up a bit.
