Let me start off by saying that I am a huge fan of the Cinnamon Buns 3-in-1, which is why I purchased the matching lip shine. This smells nothing like the Cinnamon Buns 3-in-1. In fact, I don't think it smells remotely like cinnamon buns, but instead like a mix of petroleum jelly and pure cinnamon. The only thing that this lip shine has in common with a cinnamon bun is that it is very, very, disgustingly sticky. I wouldn't purchase again.

I received this as a gift for Christmas, otherwise, due to the high price, I probably wouldn't have purchased it for myself.

This product smells nice and it looks nice.

It is thicker and goopy, so you have to be careful applying it, otherwise you'll have slick, messy lips.

It smells nice, like I said, but the taste is... blah. I know, you're not eating lip gloss, but the general taste is more like vaseline than cinnamon bun.

I like the thickness of the gloss, but I think that the CO Bigelow and other Bath and Body Works products have a much better taste for a similar (or in some cases LOWER) price...

A really good gloss, just not the best. i used this for the first time, it smelled amzing. Exactly like cinnamon buns, i dont think any other cinnamon bun flavored gloss has gotten this far..enyways, it has the smooth - yet- kinda sticky lipgloss feel..lasts and last, just the scent is too "warm" for summer and i cant stank wearing this. I prefer the Coconut Frosting one to this. Also, the packaging sucks. its pretty, but just to let ya know, it rips/tears really easy. 2 of these have just exploded on me.:[
Overall, a decent gloss, but not a rave.

I got this on a fluke with an Ulta coupon because I like the sticky textures of these glosses (also have Vanilla cake).

In the tube, cinnamon buns is an unassuming milky light beige with gold glitter.

Lo and Behold, it turns up MLBB on me despite having no real pigment or color to speak of. Maybe the glitter reflects the light, I don't know, but I do know that I looks darn good on me and I love it. The Vanilla Cake actually looks less pigmented on my lips despite being darker.

If don't like sticky, tacky glosses, stay away from this line. I happen to like the stickiness because I find it helps the staying power.

I'm on my 3rd one of this. I lovvvvve this thing! It is yellow toned with gold sparkles in it. It smells soo good and taste good, which is good when Im ready to kiss. Its very shiny as well as moisturizing, I dont get what the bad reviews are about. I see most women here Mac dazzleglass,.Glosses are either too sticky, too shiny, too this, too that. You just can't please women now days, I love this stufff! And will continue to buy it! Now ready to get rainbow sorbet!

I loooove this. It smells strongly of cinnamon at first, then mellows down into a yummy vanilla icing scent. It's very realistic. The texture is thick and sticky which I don't mind. It's very glossy and shiny, a little goes a long way. I wish that the staying power was better though. And the gloss tends to ooze out fast. But for $10 this isn't a bad buy. I'm sure I'll try other flavors.

I didn't like the taste at all when I first got it, all I could taste was the cinnamon, but no sweetness (I was expecting a sweet cinnamon bun flavor, especially after smelling the 3-in-1). Which was a shame, because as a gloss it is great - a sheer, shimmery gloss with flecks of gold (fortunately, I haven't experienced any of the white lines like other reviewers - although I found you only need to apply a tiny amount, as it goes a long way, and if you use too much, the gloss will turn opaque and whitish all over your lips). The smell/taste has grown on me, and I've been using it every day lately. I ummed and ahhed over whether I would buy it again if I ran out though (the tubes do last a long time), and although there are other Philosophy lip glosses that I prefer to this one, I think yes I would buy again.

Love the smell of this and the gold flecks its also very good as a lip balm substitute since it leaves your lips really smooth. It also stays on for ages, I've had mine for nearly year and there's still loads left.
However I have to put it on thinly if you're are too heavy handed when applying these white lines appear on the inside of your lips I find this happens most in the winter, the white lines are not forgiving if your lips are already flaking. In summer though its great.
I probably wouldn't repurchase as I've gotten tired of it after this long!

i was so excited to try this because it looks so pretty, and truth be told, it's probably my favorite lip gloss i've ever tried as far as appearance goes. it went on basically clear with very subtle gold flecks, it was literally gorgeous.

my problem with this is the smell. oh my god, nothing like cinnamon buns. more like very strong, fake, overly sweet cinnamon. it gave me a headache and made me nauseous. i tried it again a day later just to be sure, but yeah. the scent is just too much for me. i'm not even usually affected by scents, but this one was way too over the top. i expected a sweet, subtle cinnamon bun scent (like when you walk by cinnabon in an airport) but this is nothing like that.

i'm so sad about it, i sent it back to sephora this morning. i'm going to try the goldyrocks dazzleglass at my local mac counter to see if it'd be a good substitute.

The worst lip gloss I have ever, ever used. Sticky beyond belief! Pales in comparison to even a Wet n Wild lip gloss! I really like the Philosophy line but I don't know what they were thinking when they approved the formulation of their lip glosses. If you want to have disgustingly sticky lips that don't even taste very good (I love cinnamon buns but NOT this version) then by all means get this awful product.

Yum, yum, yum!!! This really does smell and taste like cinnamon buns. It is a very pale yellow gloss with bits of shimmery gold, yet looks like a clear shimmery gloss on (once smoothed out). This is very thick and sticky (glue anyone?), but I loved the smell/taste.

Although I was willing to put up with the goopy/stickiness, I gave up on it because it left weird white lines around my lips (co-worker asked me if I was feeling sick because of the weird white goop) and caused little pimples around my lips. Yes, I did try a lip liner, and that did nothing to counteract these issues, which was too bad as I really love the taste\smell!

I will not repurchase this due to the reasons above. Also, giving it only a 3, due to the pimples and white mess left behind.

I like this lip shine but I guess I was expecting something a little less...spicy tasting/smelling? I guess for some it smells like a cinnamon bun but it wasn't what I was expecting (I ordered this offline so I had no idea what I was getting). Otherwise, it's a good quality lip shine, I usually really like Philosophy glosses.

Very pretty color: golden flecks suspended in a slightly yellow gloss. I wish it wasn't as thick and sticky as it is, but the smell and taste of it makes up for that. Cinnamon bun icing!

This smells really, really yummy but its way too thick and sticky for my taste so unfortunately this just sits in my makeup bag and never gets worn.

I got this in a swap a while back... I wasn't sure if I would like it since I tend to not like cinnamon "flavors" in lip products... although I do love real cinnamon rolls. I was pleasantly surprised by this Cinnamon Buns lip shine! The scent is not too in-your-face red hot cinnamon, but rather a subtle scent, a somewhat realistic tribute to actual cinnamon buns. I can smell the light, flaky pastry, drenched in gooey vanilla frosting, and dusted with sweet cinnamon... it all blends together nicely! It's basically a clear gloss with subtle gold shimmer, and looks pretty when applied. As for the texture, it's very thick and somewhat sticky, which I like. The staying power is amazing, it lasts several hours on my lips when I apply it. I love putting this lip gloss on before bed, especially, because my lips are so soft and moisturized when I wake up! I think it's cute how it says "melt into lips at least twice a day"...and it really does feel like it's melting and coating my lips in sugary delight (LOL that sounded sooo cheesy!) I'm not quite sure how much these cost since I got mine in a swap, but I'd definitely purchase another one of these, since I'm almost done with my tube.

This is the yummiest lip gloss I own! It tastes just like hot, gooey cinnamon buns and it's not sticky like some glosses tend to be. Actually, I really like most Philosophy products.

I actually got the pumpkin spice muffin! Yum! Subtle color - lasts a decent amount of time for a gloss and isn't too sticky
