Even though I have tons of shimmery burgundies, this rises to the top of the pile as a favorite. The shimmer really pops, the application is first rate (as are most China Glaze), and I got great coverage in 2 coats. This looks awesome on my cool/neutral skin.

Gorgeous deep true red with shimmer/glow. My only reason to not buy it again is that it reads cooler than I want. If this is too blue, try ChG's Visions of Grandeur, which is similar but with a gold microshimmer that warms up the color.

Another fave from ChG! This is a really gorgeous deep shimmering red. I found it similar to ChG Vampy except no purple, all red, and the shimmer, while the same color, is a little smaller. Application was great as usual with ChG, and the wear has been pretty good so far. I would buy it again if something happened to it.

Voodoo, That U Do is a deep red shimmer that is just a few of hairs shy of becoming a vampy, darkened shade. I see a bit of gold and purple in the bottle, but on the nails it is pretty much just red, perhaps a tinge of wine/purple. The finish is very glossy and the shimmer has so much depth - this is simply beautiful.

Others below have described this shade so I will not venture to do so. The quality of China Glaze shimmer/frost nail polish is simply outstanding. This n/p appears dark in the bottle but when you apply it and look at it in the sunlight it is amazing. The shimmer and glossiness of this n/p is better than OPI IMHO. Definitely worth checking out ChG n/p if you do not already own some!

On my nails Voodoo is a deep dark garnet with red shimmer. Much darker red than ruby, as dark a red as you can get without going into blackened red. (I'm LLL with neutral to warm undertones). I love the color but application was more difficult for me and I needed 4 thin coats for streak free coverage, which is WAY too much work (took off 1 lippie). Even so, it's worth it as the color is so unique.

My experience with applying this China Glaze polish was far easier than with Dripping Wet. NO streaks and I got a good solid color with 2 layers. It's actually much prettier on the nail than in the bottle. On the nail it's a deep ruby red shimmer that leans toward being on the cool side. I have quite a few OPI in this shade depth, but none that I can say duplicates this color so far. While being a shimmer, it's very shiny with a top coat. I will repurchase again if I ever use it up.
