I wish I'd tried this sooner! I bought it a while back, but had never tried it until now. I wish I had, though, or at least had bought a second one - the colour is PERFECT for my lips. I'm probably going to go crazy after I finish this tube, trying to find another gloss that works so well for me. I don't even have issues with the round-tip applicator, though I hear they're phasing in the doe-foot applicators.

This color is - think of MAC Viva Glam V l/s but with a tinge more mauve and no shimmer/pearl in it - now imagine them paired?!

I love using this on top of my Viva V!

I would buy at least 2 more of these if I could - it was LE :( But I've heard they're on eBay.

These are one of my favorite l/g - everything about them I love - scent is great, consistency (though I'm in the minority I guess) is sticky, which to me means longer lasting, the colors are awesome. They don't dry out my lips & they last a good while & have great colors! The price is about $7 - and a tube lasts me a good while. The applicator is the round top squeeze kind - not my favorite. But not a big gripe.
Anyway - I'd buy and re-buy this! And as a matter of fact, I'm going on eBay right now. :)

I'm not a big fan of the Colour Juice line. I know I'm in the minority, but I find these glosses to be way too thick and sticky. Also, the smell and taste really bother me. But that said, Color of Hope is the best of the line. It's a good everyday color—a pink-mauve with a hint of brown. I think this color would be flattering on just about anyone. It's not anything dramatic—just a nice shade to wear all-year-round, day or night.

Wish the applicator was slanted, but hey we can't have everything... Color is like Passion Fruit Pop but darker and more mauve. My Lips But Better look. So classy. Not too purple not too pink. Wish it was part of the regular line... I see it on EBay all the time though, and I have read people can find these at The Dollar Tree. Guess I'm just not that lucky... So much like Juicy Tubes these are and for pennies on the dollar!

Absolutely great product (color, texture, lasting power, shine)! This is so great. I got it on clearance when a KMart was closing down so it was pretty cheap for me. I would repurchase at full price if I ever ran out because this color is perfect to complete an everyday work look. It takes no effort really because I don't need a mirror and I can apply it anywhere. The color is just opaque enough to look like I have something on but not so dark that I need to apply with much precision. I've been using this mauvey neutral color everyday for the past few weeks w/ any color of blush and eyeshadow and it always goes well with any of the colors.

This is my first colorjuice and I plan to try more because it stays on for a long time and I love the shine.

a pretty, shiny mauve. it's no-frills and looks like it would suit a lot of complexions. it's a good color for daytime, if you wanted to look a little more polished. but it's so plain, i'm not sure i'd purchase it again.

I actually have 2 tubes of this shade, as it's the best MLBB pink shade. It's the same scent, formula, and packaging as all the other Color Juice's, but the shade is a gorgeous mauvey-rose. Will repurchase.

I'm always looking for a really good lipgloss brand and this is definitly one of them. It has a very pretty pinky color and isn't sticky or messy. It is just as good as any more expensive brand lipgloss.

It's the same high quality, sweet smelling CJ we know and love, in an easy to wear pink/mauve color. For me, it is not much different than my natural lip color, but it is just enough to make them a little brighter and fuller looking. It seems like it should fit most skin tones well, but if looking for a more intense color, it's probably best to look at a different shade.

I'm not a big fan of drugstore cosmetics (but maybe that's just because I'm narrow-minded when it comes to buying my cosmetics at Walgreens, CVS, etc.) or maybe I just don't know the good from the bad.

L'Oreal Colour Juice in Color of Hope is probably the BEST drugstore lip gloss I've ever tried. It's a mauve/pink color that I bet anyone could wear. Yeah, the rounded applicator isn't the best and a slanted tip would probably work better, but that wouldn't stop me from repurchasing this or other CJ colors. This gloss has a nice, slightly fruity smell, and it a bit sticky, but not too much. It's just a perfect gloss and I love it!!

Color of Hope is the most wearable warm tone pink ever in my opinion. It's very pretty pink with slight mauve tint. I find that CJs have very inconsistent texture and pigmentation depending which ones you get. Some are nice and some aren't. The plastique smell varies as well. The Color of Hope didn't have any smell and the consistency, texture and pigmentation is just right. Staying powder is better than others. I'm pleased with this CJ and been wearing this alot lately. Like others have said, the round tip applicator tip sucks. Why can't they make it slanted for easier application?!

Really great color for me. Nice texture, and I don't mind the smell. In fact, I'd say it smells quite nice. There is a tint left over after the gloss has gone, so that's a big plus. HATE the rounded tube. I just read that it's a LE so I'm gonna keep an eye out for another tube.

I picked up this lipgloss on a whim. I had never tried any of the Color Juice glosses so I really did not know what to expect. The smell is rather offensive. Burned rubber, creme brulee and plastic all in one lol. The color, however, is amazing. I finally get what the fuss is over finding a MLBB shade. This is the exact shade of my lips! The scent doesn't linger too long so I can live with it just for the color. In fact, I purchased a few more Color Juice glosses so it mustn't be too bad.

This a really beautiful color. It smelled just like every other colorjuice I own, why apparently really seems to bother some people. The color though is lovely, especially is you have fair skin.

I'm saying yes to repurchasing this one in theory, although reluctantly. Colour of Hope is the quintessential YLBB colour for me, but in the name of all things holy, the smell is horrendous. I'm talking sweaty-salty-moldy-cheap-hotel shampoo. And this goes on your lips? Gak! So if you have a strong stomach and need a lovely creamy sheer nude/mauve/pink gloss, do give this one a try.

One lippie off for the rounded applicator tip and the fact that this lovely shade is LE. I normally stay away from mauves because I have mauvey lips already and more mauve makes them look too cool and purplish. But this particular shade of mauve has enough warm rose in it that it actually brightens up my face as opposed to making me look ghoulish. No shimmer either--this is simply the perfect neutral lip gloss with just enough shine to make it sexy. For some reason, the Limited Edition Color Juices tend to have sweeter scents than the normal ones and thus, I like them better. Rather sticky texture but not bothersome to me. Costs about 6 USD but it is LE so grab one while you can!
