I am very impressed with this blush. I was looking for something different than my Plum Gorgeous from Clinique which was not really working anymore on my aging cheeks even tho I love the color. Anyway, I bought this and I really like. Works well with my dry cheeks and does not make my pores look huge. This glides on smoothly and stays on. The color works with my skin tone and dark eyes and hair. The color is a warm berry color. It does not make a mess of my vanity with loose blush everywhere. I will repurchase!

This is my favorite everyday blush! It goes on so smooth and silky and contrary to what some reviewers here say I actually think it is a bit shimmery, but not overly so. It just gives a soft glow to the skin. I love that it's a cool rosey/mauve color b/c I have a problem with most blushes looking too orangey on me, which I hate. This creates a "chill" effect on the cheek similar to what ones' cheeks would look like if they stepped out into the frigid cold. This is definitely a HG for me. (By the way I have a cool undertone and wear NC20 in MAC, even though according to the Mac's sales assistants I should be wearing a NW, but NW causes my face to look far too clownish and orange.)

I bought this when ordering from E.L. last year and needed to meet an order min. for free shipping. The color is beautiful, sheer but can be used as a contouring shade with a lighter color for highlighting. It is a dusty rose with a warm, brownish undertone but not too dark. It is almost a mauve but without purple, if that makes sense. Obviously the brush that comes with this is just for show but the compact contains a nice mirror. This blush will last a long time as it is very high quality and does not fall apart or create a lot of dust when brushed. I had been wearing a shimmery pink color to highlight my strawberry blonde hair but just went to a dark brown hair color. I pulled this out today and it compliments my new shade perfectly and has no shimmer. I used Hard Candy Moon Glow Illuminating Face Powder to highlight on my upper cheeks and around my eyebrows to add a little subtle sparkle. Given the quality of E.L. blushes, I will purchase again but either when its part of a gift with purchase deal or at the C.O. outlet.

It's okay. It's a good staple to have. But there are lots of drugstore blushes that are similar to this. It's a nice everyday color, okay payoff. Too much can look muddy on some skin tones. Other than that, it looks good on a LOT of skin tones. Only downside is that the blush is in a little teensy packaging. Hard to put your brush in that! :[

I am very neutral with this blush. I don't love it but I don't hate it either. Its a nice matte rose color with a hint of brown that gives my fair-olive skin a nice coloring.
it applies easily and blends out nice. Whats nice is it doesn't have a smell like Estee Lauder products tend to have.
I like this blush and I do use it on ocassion but, I don't think id buy it again.

This is one of those middle of the road blushes, Nothing wrong with it but it is very boring and matte, does not really make me radiant but nicely Contoured and one might thats why notice some dullness, like mostly when we are wearing matte blushes. It is weird how matte blush always makes me look more made up than blush with shimmer, but my skin is DRY so maybe thats why. To lady who said that their husband commented how bright this was on her, I dont really know how it is possible to overdo it. I am NW 20 and this is so sheer on me, I mean it barely shows up! Quality wice I think this is quite similar to Shu uemura Glow On Matte blush, silky, easy to blend but somewhat sheer and dull looking. However this is bit cooler contour shade so if you have had problems with popular contour shades looking too peachy or orange on you, this might be just the right thing for you.

I deleted my earlier review of this product and am reposting this one. I didn't care for this blush at first. It seemed kind of "off" to me and was kind of flat and clay looking. I was going to toss it out. However, I've been wearing it every day for a week in an attempt to give it a fair chance, and today I happened to catch my reflection under the horrible fluorescent lighting of the office and I was incredibly impressed. Thanks to this blush, my yellow skin looked fresh and warm, not sallow or flat. I've decided to continue wearing this, and I upgraded it to a four. For reference, I wear this with Estee Lauder lipstick in Cocoa Rose, and the two go great together.

I got this blush on a sale. It says on the pack that it's a Mocha Rose color - which I would agree with. I nude/beige pink. It can come on the skin quite dark, so use a small amount. It is matte .... I hardly ever wear this blush and the only place I would probably wear it is to work, during the day. There is nothing really outstanding about this blush so I wouldn't buy it again.

I love this blush, and I've been wearing it for years. However, my husband recently got up the guts to tell me that no matter how much I blend it in, I still look like an extra from "Last of the Mohicans."
We got into a ridiculous argument. I called him tubby. He called me "Dances with Big Applicator Brush." It got ugly.
Thanks, Estee.

Love this shade! Natural, but not too natural. After all, I don't want a blush where you can barely tell I'm wearing anything. Since I am very fair I hardly need to build it up at all, but my sister, who is much tanner has used it and she was able to build it up very well. Also it has no glitter or shimmer which I'm not looking for. Perfect everyday blush!

for me, jhadiq pretty much said it all. i use it as a "no-brainer" as well. it goes on smoothly, blends well, and gives a natural yet more mature look (because of its cinnamon undertones). once again, i got this from my mom so i dont know how much it costs. the packaging is really simple& easy to use, small with a mirror, which just adds to the "no-brainer" thing. i use it when i dont have time to think about my makeup but just want a flush to step me up from "just woke up". i wouldn't buy it again because its lasting me a long time and there are other colors that match me better.

I too got this as a GWP a while ago and have been using it off and on as my "no brainer" blush. As other reviewers have noted, it is hard to mess this one up; obviously, I agree, since it really is a "no brainer" to use it. On me it is a VERY natural looking color, (I am EL 3N1, for those of you who use EL foundations) -in fact, I'd say this color almost exactly matches the natural flush of my cheeks. It is matte with no shimmer, and very buildable. However, I personally dont think my natural flush is the most attractive for me, so for me it's not necessarily a positive! LOL. The color description is also very accurate - rosewood - a subtle rose toned down with brown/beige. This is the blush I use for a "professional" look as the color to me is older and not a girly, pinky blush. I wear it with neutral/brown shadows and my "for work" lip colors (which tend to brown-berry colors). While this has been great, I probably wouldn't re-purchase since I prefer lighter, pinker (IE, "girly" as mentioned before) blushes. Very much worth a try, however, if you are looking for a blush to go with a neutral face pallette and a more natural look.
UPDATE: Now using this primarily as a contour, rather than a cheek blush. I think it is just a tad bit too dark for me to use as a cheek blush.

I ordered this shade online, sight unseen, based on the reviews here. Thank you, ladies! Rosewood is a very natural rosy cheek color, like the flush you get from a chill in the air, making it perfect for fall and winter. (I prefer a tawny shade for spring/summer.) There's no shimmer. You'd have to apply it with a heavy hand to mess this one up, even on fair skin like mine. This is the first Estee Lauder blush I've purchased since they discontinued Blush All Day and I have to say that I loathe the packaging of Tender Blush. They went overboard with the gimmickry on this. (A brush that folds in half? WTF?) The only nifty feature is the magnetic closure. EL blushes last me for years, so maybe by the time I repurchase they'll have changed again.

This blush - in all of its colors - goes on smoothly and leaves a beautiful, silky finish on my skin. The color level is easily buildable, from Just Going To The Grocery Store to Ready For My Close-Up. It's not chalky or cakey, and it stays on all day. It's a very good blush that's worth the price tag.

I love this blush! I also got this as a gwp, and I do think that once I run out of it I will buy the full size product. This blush is so natural looking. It is perfect for those who don't wear blush because they are afraid of getting the dreaded clown cheeks look. I think you would really have to try hard to mess this stuff up. I love it! For reference, I'm a PPP with hazel green eyes & auburn hair.

I received this in a GWP size from the Estee Lauder Gift Time promotion. It comes in a very cute compact that slides out with blush and mirror. The color is a light mauve, and would compliment medium skin tones. I will use the GWP, but not sure if I would purchase in the full-size.

This blush gives me a very fresh look, as if someone has just pinched my cheeks. Of all the blushes I own, it is the most 'natural'. The reason that I gave it a 4 is because sometimes I need more than just a natural flush - with my skin colouring I need some colour. I wear this blush in winter when I don't have a tan and I can get away with a natural flush, but in the summer when my skin goes really golden, I need a lot more colour. That being said, I still really like this colour and wear it often - its a very pretty 'le no makeup' look!!!

i didn't like this blush at first because i thought it was hard to get the color on my brush and when i applied it, i barely noticed any change. because it got so many good reviews, i decided to try it again and now i know why people love it so much. the blush is really sheer and i think i didn't see any color at first because i didn't apply enough foundation and my skin was a bit ruddy. after applying foundation, the color finally showed and i was very pleased. it's a very neutral sort of color and it's hard to overapply. it gives me natural looking flush and sort of makes me look like i've been staying under the sun. this blush is now one of my staples.

I love this blush, it gives a soft suttle rosy cheeks, and it stays on for a while. I put it over my darker blush, to recieve a better structure of my face, and I rub a bit om my nose to give it a soft soft rose color...
