Not very happy with this at all. I was looking for a deep browny-wine colour (very scientific, I know!) and this looked good in the tube but the colour on my lips was very different - much brighter, pinker and very "obvious". Another reviewer described it well as "fuschia" but to that I would add "frosty". And I know it isn't a case of my natural lipcolour reacting badly because I've tried it with primers.

As if that wasn't bad enough, it really highllights the little lines on my lips (which is weird, because it actually feels quite moisturising).

I might try mixing or layering this with a matte colour to get some use out of it but overall, I'm disappointed.

i have fallen in love with SOME of these colors, actually i really love rouge red #265, that's the best for me if you want a classic retro red. gel formula feels nice on, gives you some shine but no overbearing, HOWEVER i have noticed that it does look as vibrant as it does in the tube when you apply, looks really washed out and not even there, doesn't feather though and i liked that.

If I haven't fallen in love with the new Revlon SL formulation, I would get more colors of this lipstick. Feels great on the lips, actually...it feels like I've got nothing on! Doesn't dry the lips out....I just gave it a 3 for the sole reason that the color didn't quite work well on me and gave it to my mom instead. Next time I'll get Petal though.

Due to the quality and staying power of this range, I thought this shade could replace my sheer-wine choice of lipstick in EL Pure Colour Crystal in Crystal Orchid. To start with, it appears as a sheer light pinky wine colour with shimmer, which is acceptable. Within minutes it turns into this bright fuschia colour that is IMPOSSIBLE to remove unless you use a creamy cleanser. Absolutely horrendous, which is unfortunate for this otherwise excellent range of lipsticks.
