This is my first lip brush. I bought it so I could control the intensity of stronger lip colors. I'm fair (LM Warm Ivory/NC15) with relatively full lips and I like to wear lip color. I don't like sticky glosses. This lip brush is allowing me to apply a light layer of lipstick over my Paula's Choice SPF 15 lip balm for a casual look. It is much easier than dabbing on lipstick because I have more control. Yes, it takes a bit longer but the results are worth it. Like other LM brushes, this one is top quality and I love that I can throw it in my bag and go.

Great lip brush. I used to hate pull apart brushes, but now I don't know why... I can store this in compact form for travel or as full length in my brush cup. Nicely balanced and has very sturdy construction. Bristles are soft, densely packed, and taper to a point. The tapered point is very useful for fine lining, which is especially good for darker lip colors. Good value for the $$.
