This cream smells so nice, like a light lemon fragrance. I have it in the jar and a little goes a long way. It's greasy at first but does soak in and it does a fairly good job of moisturizing. My hands are definitely softer after using this cream; it's one of the better creams I've tried.

I love this hand cream, it smells yummy and feels so luxurious. But, since they have discontinued the 4 oz jar, I won't be buying any more.

This has got to be one of the most yummy smelling hand cream! This does a great job in moisturizing very dry hand skin especially during winter. It really leaves hands smooth and soft and nice smelling. It does not work overnight though and several applications is needed, but once it does it job then it is worth the while. Only one thing is I find it a bit greasy after a few minutes of application but, that is something I can deal with as it fades away quite quickly. so still 5 lippes from me. I would buy this again!

First, the tube is tiny. Great for your purse but not worth $10. The tub is a nice size but I hate dipping my fingers into any jar. The scent at first is like a light lemon mousse. In comparison, I find the C.O.Bigelow Lemon cream has a fresher, more saturated lemon scent. After a while, I find the Handmade lemon scent a bit metallic, no longer the fresh lemon that it had in the jar - I suppose I can contribute this to my personal chemistry. It's very thick, balm like, and a little goes a long way. It feels funny going on. It takes some effort to spread it on but then it feels funny - like it turns really liquidy right before it's absorbed in. The long-term effects are nice but not worth the money.

This cream is more like a creamy balm, not a light moisturizer. It lasts a long time because it's so thick but I find due to this, it tends to feel a bit greasy. I find that the lemon scent is delicate but is not a 'fresh lemon' scent - more sensitive noses might find the smell a bit 'chemical'. I am a sucker for Philosophy and though this is nice, it's not something I would buy again. The tube is tiny and I really don't like sticking my fingers into a tub of anything.

Wonderful lemon custard scent. My hands feel so soft after using this. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy. I have this in the tube and prefer this over the jar since it's more convenient to carry with you. C.O Bigelow's lemon body cream is very similar to this.

I have the mini version of this, and I like it a lot. Smells yummy, sinks right into my hands with no greasy feeling. However, I wouldn't purchase the tub version; I prefer the tube packaging.

I LOVE the lemon custard smell. It beats the L'Occitane one by 1,000,000 miles. The L'Occitane one smells like baby powder. I loathe that smell. I don't want to walk around smelling like a baby :P
This one also moisturizes better too. About a 1/2 a cubic centimeter of the rich thick cream suffices. It's not filmy or overly shiny. I still have a decent grip. Also, it doesn't come off other stuff either.
If this was a tiny bit more moisturizing, I would give it a 5.
For now, this is good enough :)

I'm on the fence about this hand cream. It's not terrible, but it's not as moisturizing as it could be. Also, I don't love the smell, which reminds me a little of yellow cake batter. I won't be repurchasing because I think there are some drugstore brands that are a lot cheaper and do the trick better.

I LOVE this handcream. I wash my hands alot, and my hands dry out very quickly with the cold winters. I carry the tubes with me in my purse and have the jar sitting on my nightstand. It is rich and thick, and is the by far the best hand cream I've tried.

I love this hand cream and want to use it constantly throughout the day even when I do not need to ( I usually see putting hand cream on as a chore).
I love the texture, the scent and that it sinks in fairly quickly (the rep on QVC UK says it has 80% Shea Butter ).

This is gorgeous, yes the smell is not for everyone but, I love anything lemony and cnnot stop sniffing my handswhen using this. Its quite a thick cream and moisturises my hand so well, they fee so soft and smooth, I even prefer this to my longtime HG hand cream - L'Occitane Shea Butter.

Many people complain about the smell of Philosophy products, but I never had that problem. Until I tried Handmade. The one plus is that it keeps my hands away from my face as is the smell is so sickly sweet I can't bear my hands to get anywhere within whiffing distance of my nose after I've used this. Thank goodness I only bought the small tube of this. The cream itself is nice but not as good as Time on Your Hands.

I love the formula. The butters are wonderful and feel so good on dry, irritated hands. However, the smell actually makes me sick. It is very sweet, in fact I find it sickly sweet. I tried to give it away because I knew I would never use it, and all of my friends hated the smell too. The first time I tried it, my fiance actually asked me to stop using it because the smell bothered him so much.

This stuff is great! It makes my hands so soft. I got the combo set on QVC with Handmade in a tub as well as a small tube. The consistency is very thick, almost like Crisco. The scent is a lemon cream to me, not bright and lemony, but more subtle. I will repurchase as it does makes my hands much softer and smoother.

Mmm, I love the lemon custard scent of this hand cream! I bought this awhile back, and initially wasn't that impressed, so I threw it in my closet for a rainy day. Well, yesterday was rainy, so I got this out and gave it another try--I liked it alot! This is a very, very, very rich hand cream in my opinion, and it does not seem to spread too easily over my hands, but it smelled delicious, and when I woke up this morning, I had very nice, soft hands! I bet I would enjoy this even more in winter, but I will probably keep using this before bed. Not as nice as my L'Occitane shea butter hand cream, but a nice alternative. Will probably repurchase :)

Like the person below me I can't believe the low ratings on this one. I love this hand cream. The smell is divine and the texture is rich. It keeps my hands nice and smooth. A couple of days ago my hands were peeling and this cream diminshed that. The only con I can think of is the price. ;-P

I'm surprised at the low rating of this one...it works great for me and the scent is not overpowering. There's something about HANDMADE that blows other hand creams away. Try it, you'll be glad you did.

This is a wonderful hand cream for dry, tight hands. My skin only gets dry in the winter, but I use hand cream every night before bed to keep my hands soft. Handmade has a delicious, light lemony scent, it goes on rich and creamy, but absorbs in a few minutes to not leave behind a greasy residue, and softens my dry winter hands very well. Even when my hands are super dry from excessive washing, exposure to the elements, etc., I only need to apply this cream once a day, ay bedtime, to keep my hands soft and silky. I will ocasionally reapply midday, but it is rarely necessary. I am 38 years old, and my hands show no signs of aging, and my husband is always commenting on how soft they are.

I got a sample of this, which I'm glad I did, because I probably wouldn't shell out $10 on this. It smells nice, but it wasn't moisturizing enough and felt a little greasy. My dog kept smelling me, so that was annoying (the L'Octaine one also made him smell my hands a lot).
