This is almost a dead on dupe of Urban Decay's Naked Foundation but for a fraction of the cost. I own both & the texture/finish/wear are extremely similar. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan so this doesn't thrill me.
I have problematic skin that tends to look cakey with make up quickly. This foundation sort of looked like a mask on me. It's "demi satin" finish is supposed to look natural, which I'm sure it does, just not on me.
I like the buildable coverage. But that's pretty much the only nice thing I liked about this product.

I love love love this product! I wear a light/cool and it is so light and makes your skin look smooth but doesn't look like you have foundation on, and thats a good thing! The only problem with me on this product is i'm wondering how long it lasts and if i should change my primer to make it lasts longer? Anyways great product!

Being a make-up artist for about 20 years, I have to say I absolutely love this foundation. Having tried foundations from Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua to Loreal's True Match...I have to say I keep on going back to this foundation. It's not too heavy, quite light, give a beautiful sheen to the skin. Not greasy or too dewy at all. It feels fabulous. There aren't too many shades but its good enough. The price is quite fair as well. I have to say its a fantastic foundation...definitely something that I use and carry in the makeup box...favorite HG foundation.

In my search for a good everyday foundation for my dry winter skin I decided to try this based on MUA reviews. I'm so happy that I did. This is a great everyday foundation that gives me a solid 8 hours of coverage with a subtle, natural, dewy finish. I doesn't emphasize my dry patches, and doesn't make the rest of my face look like an oil slick. I would say the coverage is light/medium, and can be built up on trouble spots. The packaging is not the best, but I use a sponge so no big deal. I did get the light warm shade, as the cool looked way to pink even in the store, and it is a great match. This hasn't broken me out over the past 2 weeks, and isn't impossible to get off at the end of the day. You do have to watch for some transfer, but that is about the only negative thing I can say about it. I'm going back this weekend to stock up, as it looks like they aren't getting in any new product and will discontinue when this runs out.

I bought this at Kohl's and really like it. I think it's light coverage and has a dewy finish. I have the color 5 light-medium dark. It's a little light for me but the next darkest color is way too dark. The colors are pretty limited with this foundation.
It has a very slight perfume smell that dissipates quickly.
It is pretty moisturizing and comes off easily if you touch your face. Other than that it can last 6-8 hours before I need to touch up. This doesn't irritate my sensitive and dry skin and leaves a very nice glow.
I get many compliments when I wear this. I was told my skin looks luminous.

I love this foundation. I have very pale skin with yellow tones and most drugstore or less expensive makeup is too dark, too pink, or both.
I have oily skin with acne scarring and redness on my face but just a light layer of this foundation evens my skintone and minimizes my scars. I still use concealer on some spots but I'm so happy to be able to apply my makeup much quicker now that my foundation is doing its job!
I don't use primer and notice my skin looking shiny after 2-3 hours. I use a touch of powder and I'm good to go for another 2-3 hours. I've worn this makeup for 10 hours straight and it still looks good.
Just have to bug my mother to send more from the USA! :)

I do not usually give reviews on products. But this foundation is excellent. It is light, doesn't clog pores, medium coverage, and does not break me out. I am very fair with pink cheeks and the fair warm is perfect. I have not seen any oxidization and it seems to last all day for me. I use Photo Ready Perfecting Primer by Revlon and I set it with L'oreal translucent hydraperfect powder. I use the Sonia Kashuk flat top synthetic brush to apply my foundation, it makes it look natural. This is my HG for sure. The bottle will last a very long time therefore it is well worth the money to me. I feel like this is comparable to my Urban Decay Naked foundation with slight more coverage. The only thing they need to improve on is the bottle, it needs a pump. Definitely a product to try out, you won't be disappointed!

A tip for those who apply this foundation: instead of pouring it out, I have the lid screwed on tight, then give a single firm shake down to get the foundation to cover underneath the lid and slowly open the lid. The mound on the lid is enough product to cover my face and a bit of the neck. When the lid gets too gunky, just wipe it off with tissue.
I have been using this product since last summer and I enjoy it every much. Does not make my skin look greasy and coverage is medium-light. I used light-med warm. I also bought another one because I didn't know what else to buy with my $10 Kohl's gift card they always mail out. I use it almost everyday and I think I'm barely at half bottle. Depending on the weather, sometimes when I first apply it, I look a bit pale, but later in the day, it just sets in perfectly.

It is soooo natural looking. The coverage is light-medium. Only for people who only need a little coverage.

Liked the smooth texture and light coverage of this foundation. Very easy to apply and a little goes a long way. Unfortunately had to return this because the lightest color fair/cool was too dark and yellow for my pale skin.

This is a fabulous foundation! It's light, smooth, never cakey. Offers medium-light coverage and a slightly dewey finish. With a light dusting of powder and a few blots during the day, I don't have any problems with this lasting through a work day on my combo skin. I'm NC15ish, and fall between the Fair and Light warm shades. I initially bought Fair, but had to return it because it was too pale. Light was a much better match. I haven't had any issues with breakouts with this foundation.
This feels and looks like a much more expensive foundation than it is!

I swear by this foundation. I have gone through periods of doubting this foundation because of the lack of color selection, but after testing the waters I always go back to this foundation. It stays on all day even after sweating and even swimming, yet comes off very easily when scrubbed. My only complaints are that they don't have enough shades and it would be nice if it was $5 cheaper, but this makeup is not too bad at $16.50.

UPDATED Review: I am N-20 & I use the Light/Warm shade. This is $17 at Kohl's, but in the Sunday paper Kohl's always has those $10 off coupons, which I always use to buy this. They have cool & warm shades (which I find the warm shades to be more neutral based w/ yellow undertones, which is what I look for in a foundation. IMO, I find that this would work better for people with normal or slightly dry skintypes who are looking for a light coverage foundation. Personally, on my normal/slightly oily skin in gives me a very natural, dewy look. I usually like more coverage for a foundation (that's why I normally use my HG Revlon Colorstay), but on days when my skin is at it's clearest I'll use this.

A pretty decent foundation, BUT beware to all of those girls with even the slightest olive undertone, this foundation is very pinkish. I am only slightly olive and this foundation looks soooo pinky/orange on me. So girls that don't have olive or yellow undertones I would definitely recommend this foundation. Otherwise stay away! BUT for those with yellowish skin, I really like their luminous mineral liquid foundation. It is very golden and has a nice sheen, so if you want to try and American Beauty foundation, use that one instead.

I love this foundation and am deeply saddened that Kohls is slowly discontinuing this line and all of their beauty products. I started using this foundation about 3-4 years ago and immediately fell in love. Firstly, the texture is a bit liquidy and soft, and applies smoothly and it blends very nicely. The coverage is great, I would say about medium. I don't have very many flaws to cover up, but I do have a bit of redness, bumpiness, and acne scars. The foundation covers them wonderfully, but I could see someone wanting to use concealer to follow up on anything they want more coverage on. The finish is a perfect balance between dewy and matte, I find it makes my skin look fresh and awake. And lastly, the color matching is superb. I use Fair/Warm 01. I have a very yellow complexion, with a tiny bit of redness around my nose and on my cheeks, but the rest of my skin is quite olivey-yellow. I find most foundations that market themselves as being warm or yellow-based are likely to be more orange than yellow. I find this with a lot of color matching foundations found at drugstores (Maybelline Fit Me, L'Oreal True Match). My skin isn't orange, in fact I don't know anyone who is naturally orange, so why cosmetic companies are considering warm/yellow-toned foundations to be orange is beyond me. The American Beauty cosmetic line was created by Estee Lauder. I've never tried EL foundations, but I imagine they are quite similar. This foundation is priced at $16.50, a little pricer than drugstore, yet cheaper than department store prices. I will buy as many bottles of this foundation as I possibly can until I can no longer.

i just got this foundation and like it even more than mac prolong wear. If you like the finish of estee lauder double wear, you will love this product. It really give you a very good coverage, feels very light, and give you the same rested, even, glow finish than ESDW, for a fraction of the price. I can even say i like this better, because I got a perfect match (I am light/medium warm) and couldnt find my perfect color with ELDW. It is a hybrid, between colorstay revlon and double wear, love it. Non greasy and non comedogenic
Update: not as great as i described above... huge con... last nothing.. i mean nothing... we are barely in may and weather is not bad yet, it only last about 2-3 good hours, after that you can see your imperfections arising again..
so sad! i really like the finish, color, coverage..
went down from 5 to 3 points!
I also tried shiseido sun protection spf40 liquid foundation (blue bottle) and is very similar, last all day and comes with spf, defenitely i recommend it.. con: the price, almost 40 with tax!

I never find good foundations. I've been using BE bare minerals for almost 2 years but was kind of going for a more glowy/dewy look (after seeing Jennifer Lopez on American Ido, I wanted her skin!) I like this foundation. It goes on smooth and really lasts well. Of course I top it with a powder and it stays all day. I put concealer on before this foundation and it blends it all together for a nice finish. For some reason, I find that using my fingertips with this is better that a brush or sponge. I usually shake it well and dab my finger into the cap. The jar is a big gaping hole (wish it was a pump), but whatever it works. The texture is perfect!! I will buy again!

Well, so I don't actually own this product, but today my friend and I were sampling some of the products at Kohl's and we tried this foundation and it blended so well. It's hours later and it still is on, but it also looks natural. Also, my skin feels so soft! I used Light Warm I think it was, and it's perfect. Also used the finishing powder in the same shade and they combine for great coverage.

I recently purged a huge amout of foundations from my stash. Got rid of Chanel ProLumiere, MUFE F&B, MUFE Matte, Dior Forever, etc...lots and lots. I kept Even Finish though...I like it. It reminds me somewhat of Estee's Double Wear, only a bit thinner, less coverage, and not as long lasting. It has that lovely satin finish though. Medium coverage. GREAT color choices...which makes a huge difference to me...no orange skin! This is a winner...I hope the rumour from below is not true, that Kohl's is going to get rid of American Beauty et al...
